As per verse 2228 waiting is for three periods for women

If three periods have passed and she was not pregnant from previous marriage then as per AL Quran she can get married again. If she was pregnant then she has to wait till delivery. That's what I understood from the verses.

How long has she been divorced, if there are no chance of pregnancy, there cannot be a waiting period.
