Night of Verdict - Blessed Time of Decree
-
696 And as for ?Aad, they were annihilated by a furious violent wind.
697 He unleashed it upon them for seven nights and eight days, in
succession. You could see the people destroyed in it, as if they are
decayed palm trunks.Which seven nights and which eight days in succession?
Judging with the Word of the Lord, it is the 1-st Month of the Natural Year.
Beginning with the Day before the dusk of the Night of Decree, and keeping this verdict in succession for the next seven night and counting the beginning Day of punishment, become 8 days.
So Day 14 (the Day Prior the Night of Decree) - strike until - the Day 21 (Last day of Unleavened Bread).
Nights between those Days are Seven, as mentioned in Koran.
Days are 8.
So, this concludes, again, when the Night of Decree is.
Peace, and Praise be to God.

Interestingly, there are a few pointers that suggest that people of Aad were Albanians.
Even today you can find that name among my people. There's also Ad-Mir - meaning Good - Aad, which presupposes that Aad was bad.
Anyhow, thank God for everything.
Peace,
