I often tried to understand the verse given in that link
God is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The example of
His light is like a niche within which there is a lamp, the lamp
is encased in a glass, the glass is like a radiant planet, which is
lit from a blessed olive tree that is neither of the east nor of the
west, its oil nearly gives off light even if not touched by fire. Light
upon light, God guides to His light whom He pleases. And God sets forth examples for the people, and God is aware of all things.2435I had a weird dream some weeks ago. It left me so confused. I saw in this dream a portion of the universe where lived our galaxy. There was more above, but the shape of what I was seeing looked like a glass full of universe and the rest (below and up). Something from the background told me this is God. I freaked out and said in my dream that I didn't understand the meaning. Then it told me our universe, earth and us are all parts of Allah, but this doesn't mean we are Allah. We are simply parts of him which have free wills.
I am still very much confused about it.

Yes indeed, I testify that the underlined portion above is indeed the truth!
The whole universe is a physical manifestation of a tiny tiny part of the infinite Creator. This has also been proposed by the string theory of quantum physics and the equation E=m times c squared. Even al-quran attests to that (2115, 4126, 4154).
Ponder on the following Is the Creator infinite? Where does the Creator end and the universe begin? If the universe is not part of the infinite Creator, then the Creator cannot be infinite.
Congratulations reel! I am envious that you experienced the truth for yourself. You experienced a form of "out of body experience". Dreams are what you experience through your astral/mental/spiritual body while being out of your physical body when you are sleeping.
3942 God seizes the souls at the time of their death; and for those that have not died, during their sleep. He then keeps those that have been overtaken by death, and He sends the others back until a predetermined time. In that are signs for a people who will think.

But R.H.-Ustahi and you two gave me courage. You guys are better candidate than me for dreams like this because you are far more familiar with Quantum physics than me. Could you give some more details on E=m times c squared? I am very interested. I used to think 3942 was about reincarnation. My bad!
Here is the reconstruction of what I saw. Its 95% similar. I tried my best to make it as close to the dream as possible.

But I kept getting the signal that there was more but my eyes were limited to just one view. I must say there was another part of this dream which came after a few minutes of my confusion. In this one I saw half portion of the earth. My eyes seemed closer to it from below In it I was told "this earth is one with Allah and that everything comes from Allah".
Unfortunately, I have the ability to dream of the future only if it is attached to something that will affect my family. It happens rarely and it sucks. I hate it so much. Feeling of having no control over a bad future event is disgusting '(

The equation shows how energy (E) and matter/mass (m) are interconvertible. Mass/matter can be converted to energy in a fission or fusion reaction, and the infinite energy of the infinite Creator can physically manifest as mass/matter -----> creation.
Quantum physics proposes that the fundamental building blocks of all matter in the universe are vibrating strings of energy! Different vibrations of these strings of energy form the different sub atomic particles.

Unfortunately, I have the ability to dream of the future only if it is attached to something that will affect my family. It happens rarely and it sucks. I hate it so much. Feeling of having no control over a bad future event is disgusting '(
If you master fully conscious out of body experiences, you will have even more incredible and mind boggling visions and you will be able to freely travel in time and space to wherever and whenever you want, and experience the truth and reality yourself. Sufis, yogis, and shamans regularly do that.
