Yes! But let them be practising humans that show due respect to human values.

Muslims, jews, christians, hindus are split personalities. The claim they are human at the same time they say they are religionists too. Among the religionists there are fundamentalists, terorrorists and so on. Allah has created us as one nation called "Humans!" So marry a human . Never marry who claims thenselves to be muslims, christians, jews, and hindus.

        Salaams all,

55 This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (LAWFUL UNTO YOU IN MARRIAGE) are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book(who are not associaters), revealed before your time,- when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues if any one rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good).

        Al-Baqara (The Cow)

Wala tankihoo almushrikati hatta yuminna walaamatun muminatun khayrun min mushrikatin walaw aAAjabatkum wala tunkihoo almushrikeena hatta yuminoo walaAAabdun muminun khayrun min mushrikin walaw aAAjabakum olaika yadAAoona ila alnnari waAllahu yadAAoo ila aljannati waalmaghfirati biithnihi wayubayyinu ayatihi lilnnasi laAAallahum yatathakkaroona
2221 Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters, who associate), until they believe A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allures you. Nor marry (your girls) to unbelievers until they believe A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever, even though he allures you. Unbelievers do (but) beckon you to the Fire. But Allah beckons by His Grace to the Garden (of bliss) and forgiveness, and makes His Signs clear to mankind That they may celebrate His praise.

So when and if a person is an idolater he/she are not fit to be married to you ,unless i suppose there is no other being.
        I think.

And i think Those who say God has a son , are Id------ .

        Salaams.

          Salaam Ammarb87,

can muslims marry christains, jews and hindus ?

Let me ask you, Ammar, why would a Hindu man, for example, want to marry a Muslim woman?

I imagine that to marry someone would be the end of the journey, not the beginning. The beginning would be to be introduced to that person and during that introduction something would click between the two. At that point, the person can either follow that click or end it, depending on his/her beliefs, whether his/her faith would allow a marriage, and not later than that point. Meaning that whatever differences between the man and the woman, those differences would surely dissolve once the two reach the point of deciding to get married, no?
Can a Muslim woman love a Hindu man (for example)? If marriage to a Hindu is not permitted, then that woman shouldn't fall for any attraction to that person in the first place! Do you get my point?

Should Muslims mix with others, who are different in their set of beliefs, in a way that may lead to a marriage that is unwelcome from the traditionalist parents, even though the couple would have already reached a middle ground by that time?

          Taj
