A nice website which presented an animated flow showing the migration of "modern" man..
From 150,000 years ago until 8,000 years ago.. or the time when (some) human initially adapted "Agriculture"..

    http//www.bradshawfoundation.com/journey/

    http//www.3sigma.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/Journey-of-Mankind1.jpg

It's derived from fossil findings and DNA/Genetical tracing of human living today and the found fossils..
Some of the things which I find interesting

    • Gigantic explosion of Mt Toba around 74,000 years ago, which caused massive extinction of living beings, including human.
    • Post-Toba explosion of human migration from east to west.. (which inline with the evolution of languages from Proto Indo-European to many western / middle eastern languages)
    • Multiple wave of migration to American continent/

The animation was created in 2003, since then we have discovered additional facts such as

    • Neanderthal and Modern Human 'cross breeding' which happened at least until 40,000 years ago..
This additional fact inline with the post-toba east - west migration of modern human. They (re) reached middle east/levant and europe around 45-40,000 years ago.... the native homeland of Neanderthal..

The animation above doesn't show any mass migration which happened in the last 8000 years.. which includes but not limited to

    • Massive human migration from Europe and Africa to American continent
    • Massive human migration from Europe to Australia
    • Massive human migration from Northern Central Asia to Middle East and Europe (Turkic/Mongolian invasion)
