Modern (Re) Take on: Life after Life

Peace Man Of Faith.
All of us have met the Lord before this life,( do you remember?) and all of us are going to meet the Lord again.
GOD bless you.
Peace. -
Good logic,
Well I have the Lord right here.

Brother, we are discussing amicably. No worries.
I was reminding brother Man Of Faith about the day of resurrection, even though he says the Lord is with him now
The horn will be blown, whereupon everyone in the heavens and the earth will be struck unconscious, except those who will be spared by God. Then it will be blown another time, whereupon they will all rise up, looking.
Thanks brother.
GOD bless you.
Peace. -
And I was saying if you never die you cannot have a resurrection. It is a logical inconsistency since a living person is not resurrected as he is not dead.
I think the sectarian interpretation says "do not say about those who have died they are dead but they are alive but you do not perceive". Not that I form my knowledge from that, but since you seem to love the usual interpretation you can see at least for some people there is no resurrection according to it.
Another part has a quote in Quran "I wish my friends saw me now. TThe promise of the Rabb was true" as he had departed with his spirit.
Several parts of Quran speak as if there is no resurrection, at least not for the living, i.e. for those who found the spirit and hence never died.
I disagree with huge segments of text, but the above is taken from the usually accepted mainstream interpretation.

Peace Man Of Faith.
Are you saying there will no resurrection for anyone. i.e no resurrection at all?
Or there will be no resurrection for those "living" only ? Then who gets resurrected?
Please clarify. Also provide verse/s from Qoran to back up your understanding.
GOD bless you .

Having faith in your Creator is very important. If someone does not even have faith in Allah, then how he/she can understand about "rely upon Allah"?
Allah taught me about that (rely upon Him), truly a beautiful lesson. Praise be to Allah.
Faith in a God is irrelevant. It is not about believing in God but rather about doing good for others.

Qoran explains death and after death.
The question is no longer do I have a soul?I am a soul and I have a garment which is my body.
When I die just means when my body will no longer exist. Me the soul, will return to the Creator.
My Creator will then resurrects me in another "body". It does not mean I will be human again. The new body would be of a different form.
Just like my first creation was different and in another world/dimension,before I was made human to inhabit this earth, my next life will be in a new form and a new world/dimension. The Creator decides when and how.
GOD bless you.
Peace.Well that is assuming the Qur'an is true. We will never be able to prove which religion holds the truth. One possibility that I keep taking into consideration is that all religions could be a complete lie. However it is up to us on what we believe. I find the id?a of one God/Allah to be logical. I find it hard to accept that we are all an cosmic accident. I don't have any evidence for God's existance which is why I believe. But then I could care less about religion and faith in general. Maybe an afterlife does not exist but should anybody care? I don't think anyone wants to have an infinite life. That said religion must not be given any more attention than it already has. I would rather want my country take part of NASA and explore space than to still waiste more millions of dollars on traditions and Christianity. To find others outside Earth is unlikely as we are not that technologically advanced yet and what we might likely to find are microorganisms (e.g bacteria) but who cares? It is still a huge discovery. NASA today lacks funds to do what they do because Christianity in the US is given billions of dollars for absolutely nothing. Unlike religion, science has contributed many things of value. Is it not time to start waisting those funds on science instead? Christianity is a complete joke. It is given millions of dollars because we are still too traditional and idiotic. I'm pretty sure that God would agree when I say that Christianity just like any religion is a complete waiste of time and funds.
Also one thing I would like to say is that whether God and an afterlife exists or not it is still important to do good for others. Maybe people die and disintegrate into energy while consciousness fails to survive and ceases to exist (we get wiped out for good basically), but the least thing one could do is to do good for the next generation to come. That is what I believe in.

is right. GOD does not exist on the separate level that belief in it is relevant but if one reaches the status of Allah, which is "Be As It", then this is the point. Then one is the mirror of GOD as is written in Genesis, treading in its image, and then one knows oneself, i.e. attained the spirit underneath the bodily bias (instinctive drive, animalistic behavior etc). As man unintentionally revealed the body, man must learn to separate it from the spirit. Man is spirit and body due to a mishap of mixing with creation allegorically explained through the apple tree. The body clouds the spirit to various degree depending on realization (amen/iman) and those who are very blocked from the spirit are called kafaroon (deluded/covered) by Quran.
The spirit is separate from the body if one is realized about the truth. The more one blindly indulges in worldly pleasures which arouses the biological body the more blocked from the spirit one risks becoming. Self-awareness and control is important.
One can think it is extremist and a deprivation of life, but for the one who can see beyond their barrier will see it is a great relief. It does not mean one has to remove all entertainment, emotions and comfort in life for the beast is also a creation which one has to take care of, but its animal nature should not cloud the spirit from full consciousness.
While Homo Sapiens is an animal, the human spirit is not an animal and the instincts and animal nature is not part of your real self. You must control the animal like a master and not let the animal control your spirit like a dog which is not taken care of well.
Life after this life means a detachment from the body if the person was successful or else he will feel incredible heat/light/energy as to what Quran says about it. I am still working on full comprehension, but Gehenna appears to be a permanency of the body which may be the reason for the threat of "feeling the heat/light/energy/fire" in the common interpretation. I take it is a tragic relapse and a recurring cycle of reincarnation which is the real "Hell". Hell is here already. The mainstream interpretation says the human victims of "Hell" will be given new skins which I take as an indication.
It appears through science that the universe will eventually collapse and retract into the singularity it once was. What happens to those stuck to the body by then is hard to say, but it could also be as having to feel the heat as the "flesh" will revert to energy. It may be that the spirit of the anomalous people will be destroyed by then.
There will not be a physical paradise as per the sectarian view but human souls which managed to find the spiritual Unity in Allah will be like angels. They will be Malekateh. Perhaps there will be a new cycle of the universe as per human scientific theses and the "victors" masters. Perhaps the losers will be attributed to bodies and have to live again physically in the other cycle. It depends on the Rabb. It is hard to know the nature that deeply.

Do you love your Creator?
If you love your Creator, then I hope someday you will understand about it ("rely upon Allah", inshaAllah.
I think we don't walk on the same path, Jafar, and I'm not sure if my words could increase your faith in Allah (if you have faith in Allah).
Yes I love the Creator AND all the Creation.
I don't see any 'true separation' between creator and creation.
As if the creator and creation is separated by distance.
Because "distance" itself is a creation. If you hate a part of creation then you also hate part of creator.
ALL creation naturally rely upon the creator and it happens naturally and automatically.Yes we don't walk the same path, well actually nobody will walk the same path as each of us has our own separate path. Your birth context is different than mine, your events on this life are different than mine and your departure from this life shall also differ than mine. Your life after this life will also different than mine.
To be honest, I don't see you have respect for Allah.
It's your right, to think as such.. because it doesn't really matter anyway...

I find the id?a of one God/Allah to be logical. I find it hard to accept that we are all an cosmic accident. I don't have any evidence for God's existance which is why I believe. But then I could care less about religion and faith in general.
The evidence of "God's existence" is within the existence itself.
Religious people think that there are one (or more) human like deity sitting in heaven above the cloud who looked down below to earth and manage everything like a human king.
And now people is trying to find an evidence of such "human like deity".. which of course they cannot find because the idea by itself is preposterous.
Human now have received a revelation that "distance" (read space) and "time" is correlated and both are actually a "creation".
Maybe an afterlife does not exist but should anybody care? I don't think anyone wants to have an infinite life.
Perhaps the 'infinite' is the true realm of existence that nobody cannot escape.
As "Limitation of space and limitation of time" by itself is a creation. Thus the "afterlife" can also actually be a "before life"...
That said religion must not be given any more attention than it already has.
All religion is now dying..
Agree..

If you hate a part of creation then you also hate part of creator.
That's according to you, Jafar.
As for me, I have an opinion that, even the Creator can hate or angry at His creations.
Somehow I feel that you do not support the Qur'an fully, and it seems you don't like the character of Allah (God Who is described in the Qur'an).
We will know the truth about what will happen to us after death, inshaAllah.
-
As for me, I have an opinion that, even the Creator can hate or angry at His creations.
Your creator is a weird creator and it seems like a 'human' creator.
My creator controls everything, none can happened if it's not within my creator's plan.
Thus "hate" or "angry" is irrelevant for my creator, because my creator controls everything.
It's as such because all creation depends / rely on my creator, automatically and naturally.
Including... you..We will know the truth about what will happen to us after death, inshaAllah.
Of course, and it's not so far away in time isn't it?
And by then you shall received your own revelation that the things that you mentioned above doesn't really matter.
Although we might not have a chance to discuss about it... because by then none of us really do care about it..
-
Faith in a God is irrelevant. It is not about believing in God but rather about doing good for others.
Bold I don't force you to think otherwise.
Perhaps you (or other people who think similar) could say as such, as much as you want,
however do not forget that we still not reach "that moment", the important moment when we eventually know whether faith in God is really important or not.
We still not meet that day.
-
Your creator is a weird creator and it seems like a 'human' creator.
We were created by the same Creator.
Do you have respect for my Creator? Who is also your Creator.
My creator controls everything, none can happened if it's not within my creator's plan.
I agree.
Thus "hate" or "angry" is irrelevant for my creator, because my creator controls everything.
That's irrelevant with your previous sentence.
I think that Allah can hate if He wills, nothing can stop Him from doing what He wills.
And by then you shall received your own revelation that the things that you mentioned above doesn't really matter.
You do not know what shall happen to me. We still not meet that time.
-
We were created by the same Creator.
Do you have respect for my Creator? Who is also your Creator.
I think that Allah can hate if He wills, nothing can stop Him from doing what He wills. You do not know what shall happen to me. We still not meet that time.
This is how I respect My creator.
Every strokes that you do to your keyboard and strokes that I do on my keyboard it's as planned by My creator. My creator doesn't hate or be angry at you or me because of it as it's all happening according to my creator's plan. It's as planned by My creator that you shall have such opinion at this point in time.
I exactly do not know why My creator planned as such, and frankly it's actually irrelevant for me to know what is actually the actual plan of My creator. Sometimes I understand why my creator planned such event and many other times I don't understand.
And that's why I ACCEPT that you're having such opinion at this point in time.
Because of such acceptance attitude, I DO NOT HATE you, as my creator also do not hate you.
On contrary I LOVE YOU as my creator also LOVE YOU.
If I Hate You than I will also be hating a part of My creator.I don't know what shall happened to you and perhaps I will never do.
As it's My creator's business to take care of you and not mine.
But I believe My creator is a loving creator, My creator is the kindest of all kindest, the caring of all caring.
That's why I believe or I have an assumption that your "after life" will be just fine.
Regardless of any opinion that you might have during this life...
Including your opinion regarding My creator.. -
Jafar,
The introduction line in Quran is "Bismillah 'AL-RAHMAN' 'AL-RAHJEEM'. Worth to be pondered upon for some people.
For people who know more it is worth pondering upon the phrase's meaning itself. Because the phrase literally means "With a spirit thereof "Be As It" Benevolent(ly) Merciful". Allah is the third person form of "I am that am I" which GOD said to Moses when Moses wondered about the nature of GOD. Allah comes from the root Alif-Lam-Lam and means nearness to/such as (check a lexicon if you do not believe me) and Allah is formed from a compound of two words with the same root, i.e. Allah is Alif-Lam-Lam x 2 and one of them as the definite prefix AL. The is a third person pronoun suffix (he/she/it) in the word Allah. The Lam is probably an emphasis of Elah, forming ALlah as the "la Elah ila Allah" = "To be as it is to (really) be as it" (emphasis lost in translation as I added 'really'.
I hope some see the connection between the "I am who am I" and the word elah/allah. GOD according to that text also told Moses to go to the 'Children of Israel' and say "I AM (me) has sent me", i.e. demonstrative pronoun. Ali (Aleh) comes from there. You see it may look like Moses sent himself, but the Rabb is symbiotic with him.
You also see my ability to explain these phenomena becomes better by day.
