Hello everyone. As for the reason I'm registered, I've been reading some posts around here, and I didn't know this ideology was so prevalent in the Ummah. Hope to learn why some of you here believe what you believe in, and what justification you have for your beliefs. Mutual understanding is the first step to attaining truth.
About myself, I'd define myself as a Muslim, part of Ahl Al-Sunnah wa Al-Jama'a. I've lived in the Middle East all my life and I'm now out studying Computer Science in Canada.

As a quick breakdown, most people here believe in the exclusivity of the Quran's authority to issue guidance in religious matters.
This position is based primarily on the fact that God should be worshipped alone.
All beliefs and practices are based on verses from the Quran.
Most people here give no religious authority to any other texts.
