    Peace be upon you everyone,

I was browsing the Web and came across this site (URL given below). I found it a bit puzzling as in one section this site makes it very clear that Hindusim is all made up and in the other section its using verses from Hindu scriptures to confirm that Muhammad's coming was mentioned in the vedas.

It's a long reading, so I'll just quote some of the paragraphs

The Sanskrit text and translation of Verse 5 of Bhavishya Puran, Prati Sarg Parv III 3, 3 are given below. (The boxed area in the Sanskrit text identifies the word Mahamad or Mohammad).
A malechha (belonging to a foreign country and speaking foreign language) spiritual teacher will appear with his companions. His name will be Mahamad...

The translation of Verses 5-27 (Sanskrit text of the Puranas, Prati Sarg Parv III 3, 3) is presented below from the work of Dr. Vidyarthi.

?A malechha (belonging to a foreign country and speaking foreign language) spiritual teacher will appear with his companions. His name will be Mahamad. Raja (Bhoj) after giving this Mahadev Arab (of angelic disposition) a bath in the 'Panchgavya' and the Ganges water, (i.e. purging him of all sins) offered him the presents of his sincere devotion and showing him all reverence said, 'I make obeisance to thee.' 'O Ye! the pride of mankind, the dweller in Arabia, Ye have collected a great force to kill the Devil and you yourself have been protected from the malechha opponents (idol worshipers, pagans).' ?O Ye! the image of the Most Pious God the biggest Lord, I am a slave to thee, take me as one lying on thy feet.'

    Rig Veda V, 27, 1
The wagon-possessor, the truthful and truth-loving, extremely wise, powerful and generous, Mamah has favored me with his words. The son of the All-powerful, possessing all good attributes, the mercy for the worlds has become famous with ten thousand .It refers to ten thousand companions who accompanied the Prophet in the triumphant entry of Makkah and cleansing of Ka?bah of Idols and other profanities.

Though I believe Muhammed was indeed a real prophet of God, I don't buy the "facts" this site is selling for these reasons

    1. I've never read the Hindu scriptures (and there quite a lot and pretty lengthy). I don't think ANY Hindu scripture clearly says Muhammed or even Mahamad as claimed by the author of this site.

    2. Please read the underlined portion of the third paragrah. It is calling Muhammed the son of god! ...and this site is run by a Muslim? roll

    3. According to the second paragraph, Muhammed was given a bath by Rava Boj to purify him (Muhammed) of his sins. So, Rava Boj is god now?!? This is impossible for two logical reasons...first, Hinduism is one of the world's oldest religions...Islam came centuries after Hinduism so how did this Rava Boj gave Muhammed a bath (in his dreams)? Second, I thought this was a prophecy, so how did it happen already in the Hindu scriptures? AMAZING! And exactly when did the prophet migrate to India?

I don't understand the person who's the author of this site...In one place he's using the Hindu Scriptures (thus attempting to prove they are legit) and in the other place he writes such negative things about Hinduism as to earn an entry like this in his guestbook

You suck dude. This is a purely anti-Hindu propagandist website. Either you are living a life full of delusions or you are a very very sick man. It is people like you who fuel the religious divide on this planet.

In my opinion, using such a scripture to associate it with our faith is not good. What's your opinion? Do you think it was wise of this Muslim to use the vedas to relate them to Islam and Muhammed?

    Peace be upon you.

Like the bible, the hindu scriptures must contain bits of truth and must have been corrupted too.

        Peace Green Leaves,

Interesting topic and thanks for bringing it up.

Very good observations! Hypocrisy often shines through on Muslim propaganda sites.

At face value, it seems the author was trying very diligently to plug in facts to form his/her own preconceptions. It is wishful thinking at best, outright lying at worst. The truth never needs a crutch. Inventions only deligitamize the goals, rather than prop them up.

I've been burned by quite a few propaganda sites in the past. There are literally thousands, if not millions of sites spewing this type of nonsense. It doesn't do anybody any good to invent lies, and it doesn't do anybody any good to believe in them, imo.

        May peace be upon you,
        Tay

          Salaam,

          ...Islam came centuries after Hinduism...

I would not personally agree to such a thing.

I would not agree to that either, "submission" has ALWAYS been the system, it is not a religion that can come after some other religion, it is THE SYSTEM which has always exsisted, but must be CLEARLY SEEN by each human being.
