Allah's 99 names: In Quran or not???

My bad, before I started following Quran I hardly checked the true meanings of Allah's 99 names. I didn't even wonder whether they were all inside Quran. Once I read that reciting the names of Allah could fulfill wishes. So I did it . Now I have come across the nameAd-Darr. Umm, it means The Distressor, The Harmer, The Afflictor. I tried to find verse about this, but whatever search results I am getting are from secterians. They are using verses which don't seem to have any connection to calling Allah the distressor confused
Here is an exampleAnd if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him. And if He touches you with good ? then He is over all things competent.(Surat Al-?Anaam 617)
Now inside my mind I am feeling that calling Allah distressor, harmer with the sole purpose of getting a wish fulfilled is a little too much unholy and stupid maybe???
It has made me suspicious about the rest. I know some are inside Quran. Not sure about the rest. Did anyone do a research on this? For me currently it is 99-1=98.
