Embryology in the Quran? Surah 2314, this is NOT scientific at all, Embryologist PZ Myers article at the end
Embryologists today, using millions of dollars of scientific equipment, tell us that that the bones, muscles and flesh form SIMULTANEOUSLY, meaning everything is forming at the SAME TIME.
The Quran however has something else in mind, Surah 2314
"Then we make the embryonic lump into bones, THEN (FA) we clothed the bones with flesh"
"Fakhalaqnal mudghata izaman FA kasawnal izama lahman"
FA in Arabic is a resumption particle, indicating a pause, I'm not impressed.
So clearly muhammads idea was of a baby skeleton, then being clothed with muscles and flesh. How can Muslims not see this?

As much nonsense as there is in the Bible I wonder how you can get hung up on such as that. It is probably the interpretation that is weak for GOD sake as usual.
The ancient Quran hardly deals in science being spiritually aligned and unworldly.

All that the verse is stating is that flesh is attached to bones as the bones begin to form. Allah says ??then We clothed the bones with flesh.? Allah does not say ?Then we created flesh and clothed the bones with it.?

That's not what the verse says, don't distort the Arabic text!
It's clear, even how your distorting it, it's still WRONG!
Bones, muscle & flesh form at the same time, no pauses, not one after the other!
Go and say how you presented it to a doctor, they will refute you on the spot.
The verse is straight shot, allah says he CREATES the embryo bones, THEN (FA) he clothes those embryo bones with flesh, that's wrong.

It nowhere explicitly states the forming of bones is a finished process. So the only thing you can get from that verse in Quran is the fact muscle and flesh are attached to the bone. Everything you suggest beyond that is your distortion of quran.

Judging alQuraan with the poor so called embryologists?Spending millions of dollars in the name of research is completely corrupted political game. So be impressed with those things. Even after so much advancement what they know about everything, not even 1%. Those are just theories which will change by times. As initially the astrologers said that sun is still and planets are rotating around it. But it was wrong as per alQuraan and now they say that sun is not still. This is just an example to show you, there are many more examples.
Anyways the aayaat of Allah can be seen and understood only by whom Allah wants. Others are blind on seeing and understanding them.

Quran is a book for guidance on how to live this life and not a book of science. Majority of people do not follow the guidance but waste their time in useless things.
