    Salam Alikum

I'm a sunni muslim (looking forward for Quranism) all i can recall is that there is one thing keeping me from being a Quranist, and that is Lack of historical content, for example when the Quran speak about a battle, it talks about it in terms of who won and lost, but it doesn't speak about the place where the battle waged, the lack of historical content is also predominant in-terms of the Prophet peace be upon him family, for example Ali is not mentioned in the Quran, there is little info about the prophet life in the Quran

i guess you see where I'm going at, i'm just interested in your answers

and please no hate and insults and mockery, take it as you are inviting someone to islam

      Wa Alaikum Salaam,

      Thanks for being clear.

I have few questions about you if you don't mind answering it

      • Is history a guidance in anyways? Any aayat supports this?
      • Did Allah asked us to follow or look out for history?
      • Did Allah asked to be a Quraanist?
      • What you know about prophets' life mentioned in alQuraan?
      • Why do you need Ali for?
      • Why do you believe in alQuraan if it not clear to you?
      • Do you believe in wars and fighting mentioned in alQuraan?

Please get back with the aayaat of alQuraan if possible. Then we can discuss further, inshaAllah.

May Allah increase our knowledge and guide us on His path pr

        peace,

Quite simply, those details are not necessary for our salvation/guidance. If they were, they would be included in Quran. God does not forget or provide us with a deficient book.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

it's not but, having knowledge in our prophet life is, for example the bible says alot about jesus, but also maintain guidance for morality

Did Allah asked us to follow or look out for history?

as far as I'm consurn no, but history you have to agree is important

Did Allah asked to be a Quraanist?

will the view of rejecting hadith and only accepting the Quran is called Quranism, but it's not mentioned in the Quran

What you know about prophets' life mentioned in alQuraan?

i know from the Hadith but are you referring to the only 4 reference of Muhammad in the Quran? can you make the Question more clearler

Why do you need Ali for?

to know the history of the prophet family, and follow from their example aswell, without the hadith we won't even know who he is

Why do you believe in alQuraan if it not clear to you?
i do belive in it. i'm just saying how do you counter the lack of historical arguments in the Quran

Do you believe in wars and fighting mentioned in alQuraan?
yes battles and preparing for them and verses that deals with violence are mentioned in the Quran

I am a controversial member with my views, but I consider that the current interpretation of Quran is mainly bogus and that there were no wars. An important reason for this is because the word (qatal) commonly used to refer to kill is viewed by my independent research not to refer to killing but to defeat/subdue/master someone (or something) and it does not come forth from the word alone if the person dies or not, and it could be a verbal conflict as well, for example you lecture someone about something and they yield to your words.

Current Islam including all that are in those hadith stories are fabricated. I find that Islam was fabricated by clerics in the 7th-8th centuries as a political weapon. How the current interpretation is tailored can give a hint at that if one is objective towards it. Quran is authentic, but it is like someone would just throw dirt over the text and then just simply come up with meanings out of the blue.

Regarding Ali I am also curious, but I have theories that this man wrote Quran and there never was any person called Muhammad. To be Muhammad is the goal in the real "islam" that Quran preaches by itself.

I know it is considered heretical to hold these views by a lot of people.

            Be well

He isn't too much into the current Academic standards or views maybe though. Someday the Academia might follow the views of Man of Faith, but for now the mainstream opinion of Muslim and Non-Muslim scholars differ from the views of Man of Faith in a great many respects.

I have not yet found sufficiently strong indications (in history due to its bias it is hard to empirically prove something to 100%) to completely refute that Muhammad did not exist and it is a suspicion I have. Now during my reinterpretation project I encounter information that shows that Quran does not speak to Muhammad as usually claimed but a potential preacher who reads Quran and that it is meant to instruct on how to hold spiritual lectures.

Personally I find that most of the official history of the "Dark Ages" is a huge hoax on such a scale that it is taken as authentic. I have found contradictory information regarding the Arab history.

I find that Quran's interpretation is used to rally for war in a god's name (Allah) and it is justified because people are kafar or mushrik and who knows what. Mushriks are called unclean while they are simply ordinary humans with deluded views. But those who read Quran do have similarly deluded views if they hearken on to it literally.

There is a lot of emotions coming out of this Allah. Too much hate for being above humans and I only see a zealous and dogmatic cleric rather than the great Sustainer who made it seem to be from the Sustainer.

I always had problems with chapter 8 and 9 even the first time I read through Quran and the book is often coming about unrighteous due to the interpretation.

This is my stance concerning Quran.

Bury the histories, hadiths and start living from the present

Quran is distinctly 'the Guide' for each individual discreetly; whoever reads the ayats of Quran shall fit his life and his 'con'text into it - of his own past, to his present and into his future; he is the main character in every verse as a villain or as a hero. Remembering your own history as a reflection of your own character and behaviour 42/30 is very important as you read through the verses of Quran, reflecting - takes you to the Great Guidance 2/269.

Generally most people have lost guidance from Quran 25/30 because they had gone into the stories of the people called his'stories', or the hadiths of the past to the future. They get up from the graves of the past and leap to the future forgetting their presence in the present; thus they had forgotten themselves overlooking Allah, even as Allah is speaking with them through His Ayats 59/19; Follow not the majority for they are drowned in the historical studies or hadiths 4/140; they will deviate you from the path of Allah 6/116; ponder, introspect, mend and amend, seek forgiveness 4/106, and seek increase in your wisdom 20/114. Quran is for the individuals to think deep within; so allow you to be lifted aloft as the Light of Allah elevates you with His Light upon Light. He favours whom He will and Guides one to His Light.

                      Salaam bro,

                      You are welcome.
                      Thanks for your reply.

Is history a guidance in anyways? Any aayat supports this?
it's not but, having knowledge in our prophet life is, for example the bible says alot about jesus, but also maintain guidance for morality

When you said it's not then the chapter of history is closed. Brother, we cannot rely on any book on earth except for alQuraan. And Allah is not going to ask us about history when we are raised again, but He will ask us about our deeds. So, deeds are important to us that too based on the syllabus given to us i.e.,AlQuraan only.

Did Allah asked us to follow or look out for history?
as far as I'm consurn no, but history you have to agree is important

If history is important then why do you think Allah didn't said anything about it or why He didn't ask us to follow it. Or at least He could have said that you search and find something important in history and follow it or add it to your knowledge. Instead He said Please click on the aayat for different translations.

                      1689

When we have everything in detail in the Book we have in our hands, then why look for other books which contains lot of contradictions? 482].

Now how the history is important?

Did Allah asked to be a Quraanist?
will the view of rejecting hadith and only accepting the Quran is called Quranism, but it's not mentioned in the Quran

When it is not mentioned in alQuraan/alKitaab then it is surely not important. Better to be an Abd-Allah instead of a Quraanist )

What you know about prophets' life mentioned in alQuraan?
i know from the Hadith but are you referring to the only 4 reference of Muhammad in the Quran? can you make the Question more clearler

Sorry for not being clear, my apologize. My English is very poor -5156]. And we are not going to get another change. So, is it not better to be on a safer side and try to follow only what we are asked to in alQuraan?

I understand it is really important to study what is given to us and that is the purpose of our lives to serve Allah alone. And believe me brother, our life time is not even enough to study the Book called alQuraan. So, why to waste our time studying other books?

Why do you believe in alQuraan if it not clear to you?
i do belive in it. i'm just saying how do you counter the lack of historical arguments in the Quran

                      )
You did not answer to the question asked bro.
If it is not in alQuraan then that is not important at all.

Do you believe in wars and fighting mentioned in alQuraan?
yes battles and preparing for them and verses that deals with violence are mentioned in the Quran

I don't believe in wars and violence mentioned in alQuraan.
Look at 230 were shedding blood is used in negative sense and they were given knowledge from their Lord about it.

                      665

Red part above shows clearly that fighting, war and blood shed is an azaab from Allah. Please think about it and seek Allah's help in understanding them correctly.

Sorry for long post bro )

                          My dear mmkhan,
History is narration or in writing of events that happened in past, may be near past, may be still nearer ,just a year or month or week back,if so,then quran is indeed a book of history itself, because it is full of past information.History may be write or wrong but it can easily be checked by Proofs old pictures, models, writings, and hoy books like quran, bible etc. Please let me have your comments that may guide me and others. What is the proof that quran is from Allah?? I mean, just go back in history told tous by holy books, that prophet Moses received some tablets unlike verbal quran, tablets are much better idea for those who say where is the proof,so did not Allah gave us quran written and engraved in hard black stone that could last thousand of years??

                              Salaam,

I think there is great wisdom in not mentioning the specifics of battles because if we had specifics then people would assume that the rules mentioned in the Quran can only be applied to those very specific circumstances. Allah (swt) is the most knowledgeable about all there is, so I find it funny when the Christians claim proudly that their scripture doesn't talk about war, I think that's a great oversight and a deficiency in their scripture because any normal human being with the slightest of common sense will realize that war in inevitable in the world we live in. For God to not mention war would put man in a great difficulty. Allah (swt) mentions wars and gives us the rules for waging wars i.e. we must not start them, we must do it for self defense, we must stop fighting when the enemy stops and we must not transgress limits in war.

Had Allah (swt) mentioned a very specific war then the mullahs would have said that these rules only apply to that specific situation, which btw they are doing today but they are doing it with the help of hadith literature.

As for the family of the Prophet (pbuh), I don't see whats the need of knowing who they were and what they did as they were normal humans like us and the guidance for a purified life is all contained within the pages of the Quran. Give charity, be kind to your parents and orphans and the needy, do not commit murder or adultery etc when you read that in the Quran why do you need any specific human examples?

Brother, we cannot rely on any book on earth except for alQuraan

We cannot even rely on the quran. We must rely on our reasoning abilities and the inspired guidance from The Sustainer.
Without understanding, the Quran is nothing. It is obvious from Trad. Islam. Even though the diseased books of Hadith and collections of Sunna contain much idiocy, people also base their ideas and actions on verses from the quran. With a twisted understanding, the Quran is worse than nothing.

The Quran can be a tool of guidance, provided we are guided properly. What we get from the Quran reflects our own level of guidance/blindness.

We should not accept anything blindly, especially not the Quran. So, first of all, we must have some things correct before approaching the Quran

Our intentions must be correct, i.e. to find truth and guidance, and not to confirm our current belief or some packaged religion.
We must be pure, without unconscious/hidden agenda, i.e. humble enough be ready to change one's point of view.
We must realize our fallibility, ready to acknowledge our incomplete and partly false understanding of what we study.
The purpose must be to sync the Quran and reality, and not to conform to the dogmas and rituals of a sect. The Quran is not a book on religion, but rather a cheat sheet into the workings of reality.
We must see the Quran like an infinite spring well, and not an fixed/limited instruction manual for rituals.

                                Peace

What is the proof that quran is from Allah??

If you need history to prove to you that Quran is from Allah then probably you never really believed in it? But only if you knew that history is written by the winners....

                                    Salaam brother,

If you ask me why and how did I believe that alQuraan is from Allah? The answer is I found this book claiming to be from Allah. So, I tried studying it critically and found the book is correct in it's claim. And I had to admit that the book is from Allah. I never even think of looking at history. How can I believe that the book of Allah is actually from based on human writings?

I strongly believe that alQuraan was verbal at all but it was given in a way how it was give to Musa since Adam.

May Allah increase our knowledge and guide us on His path pr

And I compared alQuraan here with books only. If you ask me I wanted to rely on Allah alone for everything including guidance. I know that alQuraan is just a tool.
