See if it is possible for you to think nothing, and let your thoughts flow freely if they occur no matter what they are, including frustration or whatever else, but see if you can focus entirely on the blackness you see if you close your eyes without any inner dialogue at all about anything, and then even beyond that, the ability to be totally blank not thinking anything really, and this is the kind of meditation some people do.
See also if with your eyes opened, you can silence all opinions, including the appreciation of causal ties from one instance to the next, simply no explanation even if it is a silent explanation or understanding, but as if you are totally fresh and this is all new to you but you continue to remain free from any thought or commentary or understanding related and are freely observing without commentary or thought. This is a kind of meditation some people do as well.
Then you can try to put it to the test. See if there is someone or something you recall or know about which agitates you, then view it or recall it without any dialogue, commentary, or understanding of it. Neither acceptance nor rejection, nor approval, just as if you are viewing some kind of thing with nothing to say about it inside or out. This might be an interesting thing.
Then if you want to learn the Dark Arts, we can discuss the opposite practices to have mastery of the left hand and the right hand, the upper hand, and the lower hand, the sitting and the walking and the running and the fighting.

The Buddhist fruit of the contemplative life
The Buddha then elaborated on his perspective regarding the benefits of the contemplative life, moving from the material to the spiritualSolitude's delight For instance, for slaves and farmers, freedom from servitude resulting in being "content with the simplest food and shelter, delighting in solitude" as well as the veneration of others.
Virtue's pleasure "he monk ... consummate in virtue sees no danger anywhere from his restraint through virtue. Endowed with this noble aggregate of virtue, he is inwardly sensitive to the pleasure of being blameless."
Simplicity's contentment "Wherever he goes, he takes only his barest necessities along. This is how a monk is content."
Mental calm With mindfulness and alertness (see sampajanna), a monk cleanses his mind of covetousness, ill will and anger, sloth and drowsiness, restlessness and anxiety, and doubt (see the Five Hindrances).
Jhanic bliss He attains the four jhanic states which are associated with the permeating of his body with rapture, pleasure, equanimity, and a pure, bright awareness.
Insight knowledge "ith his mind thus concentrated, purified, and bright, unblemished, free from defects, pliant, malleable, steady, and attained to imperturbability ? the monk directs and inclines it to knowledge and vision. He discerns 'This body of mine is endowed with form, composed of the four primary elements, born from mother and father, nourished with rice and porridge, subject to inconstancy, rubbing, pressing, dissolution, and dispersion. And this consciousness of mine is supported here and bound up here.'"
Supernatural powers "Having been one he becomes many; having been many he becomes one. He appears. He vanishes. He goes unimpeded through walls, ramparts, and mountains as if through space. He dives in and out of the earth as if it were water. He walks on water without sinking as if it were dry land. Sitting cross-legged he flies through the air like a winged bird. With his hand he touches and strokes even the sun and moon, so mighty and powerful.... He hears ? by means of the divine ear-element, purified and surpassing the human ? both kinds of sounds divine and human, whether near or far."
Mind reading He can discern in others states of consciousness such as those with or without passion, lust, delusion, concentration, etc. (see the Satipatthana Sutta regarding mindfulness of the mind).
Three knowledges He can recollect past lives, see the rebirth of other beings, and knows the ending of suffering and the fermentations of sensuality, becoming and ignorance.
Release from samsara "His heart, thus knowing, thus seeing, is released from the fermentation of sensuality, the fermentation of becoming, the fermentation of ignorance. With release, there is the knowledge, 'Released.' He discerns that 'Birth is ended, the holy life fulfilled, the task done. There is nothing further for this world.'"
Upon hearing the Buddha's explanation, King Ajatasattu declared himself a lay follower of the Buddha. The king's patricide and its karmic consequences
The king then confessed that he himself had killed his own father so as to become king. The Buddha replied"Yes, great king, a transgression overcame you in that you were so foolish, so muddle-headed, and so unskilled as to kill your father ? a righteous man, a righteous king ? for the sake of sovereign rulership. But because you see your transgression as such and make amends in accordance with the Dhamma, we accept your confession. For it is a cause of growth in the Dhamma & Discipline of the noble ones when, seeing a transgression as such, one makes amends in accordance with the Dhamma and exercises restraint in the future."

ok I'm awake and sitting here!
but you might be busy
just wanted to let you know I'm not sleeping currently heheS Oh haha i thought you might be sleeping
haha no I don't think I'll go back to sleep either
S No i wouldn't after a nightmare except if you woke up really early
haha oh yeah
totally didn't even keep that in mind
I was so happy
for that nightmare
because it woke me up for prayers
so I went and took a shower and said my prayers
and before I prayed
I opened the glass door and the window so lots of cool morning air came in
and was so thrilled and happy to be praying again
and thought how crazy people are that they don't feel the happiness
that they don't love prayer and run from it
because it feels so good
and my mind fully wandered to many good thoughts
and I was grateful and feeling great
the nightmare was no problem, but led to enormous good, and even the content of the nightmare was funny and later I will joke with my mother about it
one of the thoughts is
was
how people
waste their time in their relationships with each other
by not saying much of anything valuable or good to each other or even by themselves
and the idea was
nothing could be more romantic than speaking good words and beautiful things
whereas their romance is just talking garbage of no value lol
that I thought while I was praying
and were I such that said there is no value in the mind wandering
then I would be resistant to the beautiful thought and insight that Allah sends
so people often complain
about their prayers
even the Buddhists in their method of meditation
tell people to think nothing
yes, that is good sometimes, and of no value
you think nothing, congratulations, goodbye!
the Buddhists thus
become the beggars
they go around with the bowl for charity
and they hide away in many cases from the world
though we are Buddhist somewhat, the way they go about it is not our path
I walked outside then
in my tight boxer-briefs underwear thing and my t shirt with big Japanese writing on it, I don't know what it says haha
and in that brief walk, I thought of this one Christian Monk and the Christian monks
and how they do nothing of great value to themselves even, hiding away
except that they might avoid sins at times
because had they come out into the world to speak
them being Christians would have uttered many blasphemies lol
so Allah blesses them with silence and locks them up in a monastery because of their blasphemous mouths and thoughts
but they gain little
did they not see
the greatest reward
comes to the one who dies striving
they focus on the fact of them dying in war
many evildoers die in war too, it doesn't grant them anything
the point is being in the constant act of Islam, interacting with the world and being in a state of justice and excellence to the very end
to have beautiful intercourse with the world rather than hidden away, losing much and gaining little
do they think they were born to parents, unable to survive without parents and other creatures, so that they might hide away alone?
everything points to the necessity to interact
that all things in existence are so that we interact with them, or else what is there in seeing them even?
you might as well be deaf, blind, and with no thoughts (like what people might misunderstand regarding Buddhism) if one thinks the world is for nothing at all and nothing can be gained in it by interactionhttp//www.sgi.org/about-us/buddhism-in-daily-life/interconnectedness.html

its true that part of the reason, beside time issues, that I haven't looked too much into the books people are sending me of Pazuzu are that I deal generally only with strategy rather than knowledge, and his information might contain some interesting facts, but if they are not accepted by the academics (but they probably are, just maybe not his conclusions), they aren't of much value to me in communicating with people (and I'm all about communicating with people), in other words, I can't use them much, so I've never been one for what I can't really use clearly or in an easy effective way
people mistake me for being one who pursues knowledge, but pursuit of knowledge is what has actually sent so many people astray
so where one might have hungry eyes, I don't, I am all about dance moves
https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tandava
the phenomenal world means almost nothing to me, except to see in order to move well in it
to dance and to dodge
so if someone says "there is a fish with bright blue eyes in the sea" that is interesting, but also, how can I apply this to my dance? Perhaps inspiration for some particular move
for example
the pursuit of Medicine as a field of study
would be of little value if it were just about giving names to diseases or even explanations of diseases
except that we learn also how to help people and do a beautiful dance move with it
that is where the beauty is
in the motion, not the "is" or the "static information"
lol just making excuses for not reading Pazuzu's writing yet haha -
http//www.khenposodargye.org/2015/05/the-relationship-between-the-essence-of-tathagata-tathagatagarbha-and-tirthika-ideas/
yeah
could you summarize his conclusions?
and just let me know what he says without my reading it thoroughly? I may read them yet, at some point, but at least I'd be skipped ahead
"Pazuzu's book attempted to show evidence of such and such and it seemed true to me that such was such"
haha still even with that, I have difficulty
this "not caring" goes very far and deep with me, it is almost opposite of my religion
to even ponder on things
"what was it like for Jesus"
"Where did Muhammed sleep at night"
haha the Hadith was made for those questions
this might be a part of the peace of mind
but yeah such confirmation
can give comfort
To this, the Buddha replied, ?Mahmati, the essence of tathagata that I have taught is different from the tirthika ?self (tman)?. Mahmati, Tathagata(the Thus-Coming One) Arhat(Worthy of Offering) Samyak-Sambhudha(Truly Omniscient) teaches the essence of tathagata, in the sense of dharmakaya, ultimate oneness, nirvana, emptiness, unbornness, formless, devoid of will-effort. The reason why I teach the doctrine of tathagata is to help the ignorant and the simple-minded to lay aside their fears on hearing the teaching of egolessness, and to come to understand the state of non-discrimination and imagelessness. Bodhisattvas mahasattvas(great) of the present and the future, should not, on hearing this, cling to the notion of a divine self. Mahmati, just like a potter making various vessels by the skill of his own hands, with the aid of a wooden stick, a wheel, and a thread, out of the mass of clay; the tathagatas, too ? by their command of skillful means, issuing from the non-discriminative, and selfless noble wisdom, by various terms, expressions, and symbols ? teach the essence of tathagata, or teach the egolessness. Mahmati, I teach the essence of tathagata for my tirthika disciples, who cling to the imaginary notion of a self, to awaken from erroneous views, to attain the three kinds of liberation, and to quickly attain anuttara-samyak-sambodhi(buddhahood). Therefore, the essence of tathagata, taught by the buddhas, is different from the tirthika notion of ?self?; people who aspire to be away from the tirthika views should understand the meaning of the selfless essence of tathagata.?
