If you seek clarification, Sajda, I may mention the flooding of threads and turbulent conduct.

Although he was sometimes very rude, flooded threads,I didn't agree with him much and even found some his posts completely incomprehensible, I am sad that he is permanently banned.

He is a member on another forum where I am an administrator. I said I understand basically why he was banned due to the mass-amount of posts everywhere and induced conflicts. I found the armada of threads having new posts but all updated by one and the same poster to be a little annoying actually. I often write long posts but his take the prize.

I am not the administration of this forum, but I suppose his behavior went on their nerves and perhaps they felt the quality of the forum went downhill.

His views of God are fairly similar to mine except he is a bit cynical about His* kindness and mercy and I argue that God lets us choose our destiny ourselves even albeit God is obviously in minute control of it all.

There is a shrill inside of me using Him/His, but I find no alternative in English except this. God has no gender. I could use She but that is politically incorrect and still wrong and It is considered impolite/disrespectful. Sometimes I say His/Her.

Oh he had a lot to say. His posts were extremely long and they all were saying something very simple, however contradictory to the Quran or nonsensical they are

God created everything predestined.
He accuses God to be a sadist, therefore an evil God.
Therefore God punishes and rewards arbitrarily, contrary to God's own revelations and promise, ALSO contradicting the very logic for any revelations in the first place.
He implied that God is not capable of creating something infintely more complex than a mere puppet, so all the deeds, good or bad are really done and owned by God as the puppeteer. I.e. God basically rebels, rejects or accepts God, God afflicts God, God rewards God, God punishes God, God sends God to hell, God admits God to bliss and so on.
Therefore there is no concept of acceptance or rejection, or test or struggle for human beings, or judgement in the hereafter.

In my very honest opinion, this represents a diety only doing things for amusement / entertainment. I seek the Almighty's refuge from inventing lies while I know.

2116 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them for entertainment.

2117 If We wanted to be amused, We could have done so from what is already with Us, if that is what We wished to do.

I did smell the hostile environment back then for which I sometimes avoided those threads. I must admit that at one point I skipped almost all just because of the knots shown by A.W below

I found him in another forum. His threads gave me the feeling that he was passionate about calling people to God without looking like a bible/hadith thumper. His approach was very progressive. So I thought he wasn't such a bad guy. Just excited. He's probably quite young. If I remember correctly he said once that he was posting vigorously to become moderator of this forum.

I am surprised that he is banned. I can think of other members who are far more offending than him and even who carry on the same without being banned, even people with a clearly racist signature mocking the Qur'an.

Actually I did not find him offending. And one is not obliged to read or answer his posts, so I really find it suprised that he is permanently banned and not his loss but the forum, because he did enliven it a lot. And his opinions about God I think some people misunderstand them ocmpletely, although I do not think that is the reason for his being banned. Again there are people also on that count who are far more offending if it is so that his were apparently offending.

Obviously all this concerning him or anybody else is just as it regards this forum. We do not know people as they are outside this forum.

I really do not understand it.

I think diplomacy with him would have been a better option. I spoke to him and he behaves better. He is eager to help others as he spends an awful lot of time at the computer (which I may also tend to do).

He may lack a serious attitude at times and I told him to rather concentrate on the substance of what God stands for and rather focus on the ways rather than indulging in petty fights.

He does also seem like a speed addict at times. I think he should spend more time reflecting upon what he writes.

I doesn't feel bad or curious on his permanent ban from this forum.
He say something, if you disagree with him he start calling names to those who disagree with his understanding.
When he reaches calling 200 different names, then he repeat that in every post he writes until it reaches 2,000 times.
Even if you don't like discussing with him, he still continues to use your name again and again, so irritating.

I personally never find him serious about Allah, but I found him just trying to spread "everything is from God" in any way that he could.
I think many forum members' headache and irritation has been gone.

I don't think that a daily limit on the number of posts is necessary. I think that the quality of one's argument is more important than the number of posts.

However, it would be in good taste for a member to collate all their points into one post and to be as brief as is practically possible for the discussion at hand.

Likewise, descending into name-calling against those with whom you disagree is, in my opinion, child-like and does nothing to support one's argument.

It truly saddens me to see some members of this community exhibiting the same behaviours that I see from people on other websites. There is a tendency to react reflexly with emotive language and derisive epithets that do not at all befit the God-conscious. Besides, said behaviour contravenes the posting rules of this forum.
