slavery powers your money, your dollar bills i'm african-african american and slavery is really what gold and money is based on what you would do for a dollar.

and yes name other mass slavery events that stand out in the history of man on planet earth.
    are there any others?
consider the number of the children of jacob with math (serious, exponents going out there for generations) he had 12 sons who had sons who had sons who had sons.......

and also remember ALLAH's promise to prophet Abraham, of whom we has a devote model for our faith, " i will bless you with offspring as countless as the stars" some say as scattered as the stars, meaning they will be everywhere. also recall in the bible after prophet joseph, of whom the people said there would be no prophet afterward (check this ayat in the quran), the egpytian got jealous because joseph's offspring were beginning to out number them. also note the killing of males and keeping of women, this is obvious population control.

First of all you must be out of touch with modern terminology but negro is quite an offensive term. The term that is used is black which encompasses all children of the diaspora.
I suggest re-editing your post title.

Secondly your question does not make sense. What do you mean by releasing slaves?
Are you referring to freeing necks? Are we talking about present day America? How is that applicable?
If you are referring to the present America, unless you are referring to the prison system I do not understand your question.

Finally, Israelites were and are still for the most part black.

dude chill out the same verse applies to both events?

like the sunrising verses and sunseting verses occur every 24 hours, the signs are simply rotational, they happen again and again just like and there's a verse speaking of an end to the earth, that verse we what for it to be fullied in our sight.
and freeing necks that sounds a bit brainless don't you think? lolz

but I get what your saying other people were in slaved two "forced to heavy labour and task" remember china in the movie "IP Man" they where forced by what all populations get forced by fear of starvation and imprisonment "the force" was just a means. like pharaoh is just a title for the enslave it's pharaoh which I consider references a god king who the people are forced to worship and serve like I think one of the koreas for a time just 40 years ago (wasn't born then).

          you getwhat I'm saying now?

There is some misunderstanding brother. My post was in reply to 357 not you.
And I'm chillest dude you've ever seen bruh
            I don't get what you're saying, I'm sorry.

Are you saying that history keeps repeating itself?
What verses are you referring to? There are no verses in this thread so far. Please cite them, so I can know what you are talking about.
Freeing the necks is a term used in the Quran, beware of ridiculing your Lord's words fye

            For example

            Surah9013

            fakku
(It is) freeing N ? nominative masculine noun

            (90132)
            raqabatin
            a neck,

It is not "a bit brainless"

I still do not understand what you are trying to convey in your post, I apologize.

I dare you to come to the states and call a black man a negro.
We are speaking English not Spanish nor Portuguese.
If you use negro while referring to black people and not simply a color it is offensive
In Italian and Spanish there are more politically correct/inclusive/ terms like moreno/morena, Moro/mora

                Regards

I'm from the states but I usually use peoples names no matter their skin color. What do you do go around calling people black or brown? yea that isn't offensive at all.

The stories of Yusuf and Musa, as has been shown in this forum in several threads, as can be clearly seen in the Qur'an if we forget about the biblical narration, did not occur in Egypt.

Wow you live in the states? So calling people negros in 2016 is not offensive, but calling them black is?
                      Get a grip buddy.
How the flying banana would you know what is offensive to a black person in the first place?

Liar you don't know every person's name in the world.
So you are telling me that you've never used black or white to refer to people's race.
people are different and our differences are what makes us unique and beautiful we should embrace them.
Pretending to be colorblind is the biggest sack of bs in history of civilization
It is an excuse to ignore the racial discrimination present here in the states.
It is a method the privileged class uses to attempt to ignore the racial predicament and their own privilege in the social stratus.

Everyone is aware of the loaded negative connotation of the word negro, especially as used by the south during the Jim Crow laws in which facilities were off access to black people.
                      "No dogs or negros allowed"
Do you honestly undermine the negative connotation of that word?

I will repeat try and call a black person negro if it isn't offensive...
                      And record the reaction

We use color for description and dancing around the obvious color differences shows what kind of individuals are prone to be prejudist in my experience.
Non prejudist folks in my experience have always embraced aknowledging black people, their skin, their color, their differences and they love these differences and embrace them.
They do not pretend that they can simply ignore color and race because that is the biggest insult you can give someone who has been enslaved, raped, segregated and still fascing discrimination, racial profiling, social and economic isolation and much more. Will you date to look at them while they are clearly oppressed for their differences and claim you do not see their color, meanwhile they are being killed because of their color?

I am by no means upset by your statements I just rather educate you so that you know

Black people are black period. Trying to pretend that you can refer to all of their names even when speaking of them being oppressed is darn right foolish. Don't you think?

I strongly suggest you refrain from these prejudist-like ideas, because these are the facts

                      1. Negro is an old and now offensive term
                      2. pretending you know all black people's names when referring to them is propostorous
                      3. pretending you do not see color is a slap in the face to their humanity and all the civil rights movement in history

Hope you will reconsider your words in the future

                      Regards

                                  I voted NO.

The social condition in 16th - 19th century North America was totally different with Ancient Egyptian.
And.. the social condition in 2000 BC Ancient Egyptian was also different with 1600-1700 BC Ancient Egyptian.
And.. the social condition in 1600-1700 BC Ancient Egyptian was also different with 500-600 BC Ancient Egyptian.
                                  And so on...

You cannot compare any of the above as apple to apple..

Let's then zoom in to a specific location (Ex British Colony, North America) and pick the same period (18th-19th century).
The "slavery" condition or we can also say "Employment Condition" between African imported labor and Chinese / Asian imported labor were also different.
However there are similarity.. the majority of them are working in a very poor and "non-favorable" employment condition.

They never labeled the Asian imported labor as "slaves" although many of them were working in worse condition than the African imported counterpart (which they labeled as slaves), such as "Low to no salary given", "Lack of food, water and sanitation", "Forced Labor" etc...

As such.. even the "Release" (not a good choice of word though) of "Asian slaves" and "African slaves" in ex british colony north america around 19th century is different. Let alone comparing them to Ancient Egypt.

First I'd like to humbly say you're right about these scenarios not being comparable.

I would like to know though a couple of things.
Since you've responded to the thread, I would like to understand what the question is I'm still not understanding if you can clarify I'd appreciate.

Secondly how old are you? Where do you live?

I don't mean this to offend you but judging by what's in red, you have the absolute wrong idea of what slavery was like for slaves of African descent.
You correctly stated that you cannot compare apples with apples and then dare claim that Asian migrant gold rush workers received worst treatments than African slaves. That's propostorous!
These are the same poisonous history washing ideas the white supremacists are pushing for!
To erase the truth about the brutality, inhumanity, torture, degradation and abomination of the blacks enslavement.

I asked the above because you must either be a juvenile with no sense of historical accounts and onky been exposed to the school textbook censored account of slavery or you must live across the earth where you are extremely unfamiliar with the atrocities of black enslavement.
I am talking about pregnant slave women being hanged and then their babies cut out of their bellies and then burned alive. Mutilation of genitals, chopping off hands and feet. Whiplashes that left backs unrecignizable, brutal beatings that caused impairments, rapings and molestations. Deprivation of education, and culture. The list goes on.

I would carefully choose my words next time I choose to claim that one is better off than the other.
You are causing huge disinformation. Which is also a huge slap in the face of the suffering black community which has never been freed from the shackles of slavery. Slavery here in the States has changed and morphed, modernized. They call it the Prison Industrial System. It is over represented by black people who have lost their freedom only due to petty crimes, false charges and a straight up jacked up justice system.

                                    Have a good night
How can you refer to slavery as employment condition?

Like as if we're trying to decide who received the worst treatment?

Fact wise.. Both group received bad treatments.. with different "label"...

I do aware that such pattern exist on "every supremacist"...
They're trying to downplay the insanity and brutality of "their own social group".
Such as, but not limited to, the Japanese Supremacist, Arab Supremacist, Islam Supremacist etc..

Yet I can also say that you're trying to downplay the suffering of "Asian imported workers" during 19th century North America British Colony.... Are you a "Japanese Supremacist"? or "American Supremacist"?

I asked the above because you must either be a juvenile with no sense of historical accounts and onky been exposed to the school textbook censored account of slavery or you must live across the earth where you are extremely unfamiliar with the atrocities of black enslavement.

First.. I didn't said that the "black enslavement" in North America British Colony was not bad.. <see above>

I am talking about pregnant slave women being hanged and then their babies cut out of their bellies and then burned alive. Chopping off hands and feet, mutilation of genitals, burned alive, women being hanged, rapings and molestations. And I want to add "Crucifixion" and "Beheading"..

We still have those NOW even as we speak don't we?
(Although might not be towards North American blacks in North America)

And we can also observe NOW.. that the "Supremacist" trying to downplay such horrible act of their own social group.

I would carefully choose my words next time I choose to claim that one is better off than the other.

See above, I'm confused on why you put on a "competitive framework" into your line of thought..

Slavery here in the States has changed and morphed, modernized. They call it the Prison Industrial System. It is over represented by black people who have lost their freedom only due to petty crimes, false charges and a straight up jacked up justice system.

Of course... that was my main point..
Just because somebody has stopped or did not call it as "slaves" or "slavery", it doesn't mean that it wasn't a slavery. The brutality and bad treatment is pretty much the same. I used Asian imported labor to 19th century British colony in North America as merely an example...(among millions of other example, including those that we still observe today)

As an addition, this is not an issue of "skin color".. this is rooted in arrogance and supremacy based on social group. An example The story of Hutu and Tutsi in 20th century. both has similar dark skin color.

                                        I got it from you

They never labeled the Asian imported labor as "slaves" although many of them were working in worse condition than the African imported counterpart (which they labeled as slaves), such as "Low to no salary given", "Lack of food, water and sanitation", "Forced Labor" etc...

Like as if we're trying to decide who received the worst treatment?

The two are by no means comparable one group was stripped by force and enslaved and treated as less than livestock, while the other migrated much later on in American history during the gold rush mostly by choice for opportunity.
You are confusing periods of history and you are downplaying African enslavement terribly by comparing it with "Chinese migrant labor".
You are the one who put it into a comparative framework by claiming that Asian imported workers were in worse conditions, I will cite you again

They never labeled the Asian imported labor as "slaves" although many of them were working in worse condition than the African imported counterpart (which they labeled as slaves), such as "Low to no salary given", "Lack of food, water and sanitation", "Forced Labor" etc...

Look at you again trying to compare the two.
You cannot just generalize and say they both received bad treatment, because by doing so you are clearly downplaying/undermining the atrocities and extreme injustice committed against one group and still is occurring today disproportionately towards this same group.
Your words and thoughts have done great injustice to the suffering of your African brothers by trying to compare it to voluntary migration and employment conditions of the other group.
Did the africans migrate or were they stripped from their motherlands and stacked lack sardines in ships and shackled to one another?
They were thrown over board if there was too much weight!
There is not much sense in your attempt to compare the two and it is my duty as a truther to remind you of it.

I do aware that such pattern exist on "every supremacist"...

YOU are the one clearly downplaying African enslavement by calling it employment condition and claiming Asian migrant workers were in worse working conditions. Do not try to flip the script your words are in bold red letters.
I am pointing out your mistakes and trying to educate you about the black struggle which is ongoing.

First.. I didn't said that the "black enslavement" in North America British Colony was not bad.. <see above>

That's right you said that Asian workers were working in worse conditions nope
                                        Shall I cite you again?

They never labeled the Asian imported labor as "slaves" although many of them were working in worse condition than the African imported counterpart (which they labeled as slaves), such as "Low to no salary given", "Lack of food, water and sanitation", "Forced Labor" etc...

And we can also observe NOW.. that police are disproportionately prone to target and kill blacks. It still is not over for the blacks my friend, how can the Asian migrant workers have had it worse?

As an addition, this is not an issue of "skin color".. this is rooted in arrogance and supremacy based on social group. An example The story of Hutu and Tutsi in 20th century. both has similar dark skin color.

No, slavery and racism in America despite what you are saying was and still is based on skin color and race. That is the fact.
The claim was that Africans were inferior to whites and were a race born to be in servitude to them and this is what they taught to them and themselves. Same concept with African colonialism. The question in the thread clearly brought up the issue of race as it uses a word such as negro (by the way an offensive term might I add again). I still haven't understood the question of this thread.
Anyway I am well aware of the genocide in Rwanda, but that is not the same as Race Supremacism. What happened in Rwanda is of the same nature of that which goes on in Arab countries amongst sectarians and in Asian countries like in Myanmar and in Tibet and so forth. Tribal conflicts.
It is not the same at all as saying because you are different than me, because you are black you are inferior to me. Again your attempt to compare Slavery and racism with tribal conflicts shows a bit of a lack of knowledge on these issues.

I do not have an issue with you personally at all brother, but I feel it s extremely important for us to correct each other where we cn.
As a self-proclaimed activist and Africana studies student I am very conscious of all the issues surrounding enslavement and discrimination of the African race whether we are talking North America, Central(african descendant latinos are marginalized and discriminated against,)South America (check out how black Brazilians are being targeted by the police), South Africa (actually the whole of Africa due to colonialism)in their own motherland Africans have suffered apartheid and much worse from white supremacism, in Europe people of African descent are constantly being discriminated against look at a famous soccer star issue with racism today Mario Ballotelli having bananas thrown at him and called a monkey from uncivilized white supremacists, I am also aware of the same in the Middle East with Israel discriminating against Ethiopians and black Palestinians (referring to them as Cushi) and the Arab nation pretending as if they did not have a huge role in the Atlantic Slave Trade.
Look at the tribulations African people are still going through today worldwide. I barely touched on the tip of the iceberg to give you a sense. But if I were to mention all of history and present day suffering I would not have enough time and space.
How dare you say Asian migrants were in worse conditions?
That is highly offensive to intelligence and the African peoples' suffering brother

We are muslimina and truthers so let us propagate the truth and be careful in our words

I do notlike victimism, I think it that ressorting to it diminishes a person.

As far as I can see in the strongest racism today is shown against Arabs-Muslims. That is today.

BUT one thing I have to say, as far as I know of history, the greatest crime and cruelty has ben exercised against the black people brought to America from Africa en the most horrifying conditions, whereby may be half of them died in the journey. No wonder those who were left were strong and survivors. Those who were not did not have a chance to overlive the transport. And then at destiny, fortunes in different place and circumstances diferred, but they were slaves alright, chattel and cruelties, as we all know were very common because really there was little they could do.

An one think I respect n blacks today (and may somebody comes now and tell me that not all of them are like that) is that they do not ressort to victimism and play that card continuously to exact payment (I am not talking about money) from people of today for past doom and they do not blind themselves to the plights of others just becaue their ancestors were so horribly offended and humilliated. That, as far as a I am concerned is the say to be. To stand up for justice and your rights without giving in to creating past guilt in others. May be they could exploit their ancestors suffering for getting pay off today out of creating fuilty feelings, but sincerely I would not respect them for that, but I do respect them for not doing it and for not being blind to the plight of others today and because they are able tojoin causes that are not just them themselves.

I wish everbody who would have a claim to pity for the past would do that.

                                          Salaam
