This is the first thing that came into my mind 2 years ago when I stumbled upon free-minds website in search for an answer.
I was not comfortable when during salat, i need to offer durrod to the prophet's aal and then Abrhem's aal as if they got a free ride automatically. God is just and he would not make certain people above others just because of the status of one person in the family,
    except the condition is taqwa.

Quran 4913 O people, We created you from a male and female, and We made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Surely, the most honorable among you in the sight of God is the most righteous. God is Knowledgeable, Ever-aware.

What I think is interesting about this verse is that it eliminates "the notion that one tribe/nation is better than another." In other words, the Quran seems to support equality and condemn racism/supremacy. And it seems that people will only be judged on the scale of righteousness. Those who claim that islam supports racism, have been deceived, in my opinion. I think the notion that "islam supports racism" is a great misconception.

    Agreed

      Greeting Folks,

Why everyone is so afraid or shy on here to have a real contact outside of this forum?
It would be nice if we can have say a whatsapp group or similar direct contact..
I would love to know folks from here outside of this website ...

I guess people are afraid from the impact of revealing their identity, am I right?

      Cheers

      Peace Fusion, all,

I think it is a great idea to meet likeminded people (monotheists) in real life (in order to talk with eachother face 2 face). However, I think it is easier said than done. Because like you say, everyone are afraid or shy on here to have real contact.

I think there are several reasons why many members seem to be shy or afraid to have a real contact outside this forum.

Here are some reasons why I think many members seem to be reluctant to meet in real life

      1. Many members live in different countries and different continents. Therefore it might be difficult to meet other members in "real life." Besides, it might cost a lot of money to travel. In addition to that, most people can't travel whenever they want. Because their job/studies restricts them.

      2. Perhaps many members in this forum don't trust eachother enough to meet outside this forum and talk to eachother face 2 face. It is hard to trust people that you meet on the internet. Because most people you meet on a the internet are strangers. Would you talk to strangers on the street or invite them to your home? I don't think so. But I might be wrong. Anyway, I think most of us would agree that it would be wise to be picky when it comes to who you want to meet in "real life." Because many people seem to put on a fake persona on the internet. They seem to pretend to be who they are not. They present a false image of themselves. And that's why I think it is hard for many forum members to trust eachother. So to be on the safe/secure side, many people don't meet others outside the forum. Some people think that they can spot insincere/wicked people like a metal detector can spot a gun or a knife. And they think that they can see through others like glass. But the fact is that they can never know (with 100 percent accuracy) that someone is sincere or insincere, good or wicked. And even if they could know it, they can still fail. Because people can change faster than we can imagine . A man/woman who is a great saint today, can become the worst sinner tomorrow.

Even though some good people become wicked, it seems that most good people become more good. But my point is that there is no guarantee that all good men/women will remain good or become more good. Unfortunately, it seems that some good men/women devolve and become wicked.

Is there a way to know if a member in this forum is trustworthy/sincere or not? Yes, there is a way, in my opinion. If a man/woman has a deep/correct understanding of AQ, then there is a huge probability that he/she is trustworthy/sincere. Because the quran seems to be a mirror of our souls. And only those with a pure/good heart can grasp its message. I think a man/womans deeds can also tell us a lot about who he/she is and if he/she is sincere/trustworthy. For more information about this, see this excellent thread

      http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9603944.msg299353#msg299353

In my opinion, there are a lot of good/sincere/trustworthy members in this forum. And there are a lot of members in FM that I feel that I can trust and that I would like to meet outside this forum. But there are some members that I feel that I can trust to a very high degree. These members are Layth, Ayman, Edip, Wakas, Pazuzu, Arnold Yasin, uq, Tanveeer, mquran, TheQuranAloneRevolution, IAMOP, SarahY, BornAgain, Sushi1992 and Javalatte.

      1. Many members might be reluctant to meet muslims (who follow quran-oriented islam) outside of this forum because their time is limited. Perhaps they like to socialize, but prefer to mostly socialize with a purpose e.g. spreading the message of islam and quran with others or help others. Personally I like to socialize both with and without a purpose.

      2. Most muslims in this forum seem to be on different stages in their spiritual journey. For example a long-term member on this forum, who found true Islam (monotheism) more than 4 years ago, will probably have a different view on the quranic concepts than a newbie/newcomer. And since their views on islam and quran can be very different, they might have less in common. Hence they might not want to meet eachother in real life. For example, a Karate master with a black will have a lot in common with another Karate master. But a Karate master with a black belt might have little in common with a newbie student in Karate.

      3. It seems that social media can make it hard to meet people outside of the internet. Because we can't get an accurate view of who someone is just by reading their posts on a forum. Hence we become cautious and skeptical. Social media is a great thing, in my opinion. I think social media is the greatest invention since Television. By the way, I love to watch television. And I would love to watch House of Cards or Game of thrones one day. Because I have not watched those tv series and they seem very interesting. But unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time to watch television. As mention earlier, social media is a great thing. I love forums, blogs, youtube etc. And I also have a facebook account. However, my FB account has been deactivated. I think that here are a lot of pros with social media. For example, I think it's great that social media has connected people from all over the world. And I also think it is great that social media has enabled us to share lots of information people all over the world, in a very short time. That being said, there also seems to be some cons with social media. For example, it seems that facebook has replaced a lot of real life (non virtual) interactions that are good for our soul and can contribute to our personal growth. It seems that facebook is a false world, a false reality. There could be some value to facebook, but its costs might be more than its benefits. Hence I think it is important to do a "cost-benefit analysis" before choosing to use (participate in) facebook. And if one decides to use facebook, I think it would be wise to minimize the amount of time one uses there. It seems that too many people are using facebook as place to avoid the trickier aspects of social life. But what they don't seem to realize is that face to face encounters in the "real (non virtual) world", makes us stronger and makes us thrive. According to the theory of evolution (whether you believe in it or not) we are human animals. Nature is our habitat. Many people claim that misuse/overuse of technology has disconnected/separated us from nature. When it comes to social media, Twitter and Reddit seems better than facebook, but unfortunately they also have a lot of cons in my opinion.

I would like to share a controversial video and four thoughtprovoking articles about social media with you.

Haha. Just like you, I also find a lot of the members in this forum scary ;D

Sometimes I even find myself scary P

I would doubt anyone would find me scary at all if they simply dared to meet me. I am not sure how I look here except a maniac who interpret Quran at own will and completely astray, but apart from that I am very much living according to how I teach and would not be any dangerous to meet since emotional outbursts are strictly against the Decree even without intending to kill someone explicitly.

I think that most would consider me extraordinarily calm in person actually in case they met me such as if I was peace itself. I usually try to avoid conflicts before they happen with diplomacy even if it means intervening on somebody else's behalf when I see some interaction derail.

          Be safe

            Peace everyone,

It seems that many members on FM are content with the friends they already have and don't want to get to know likeminded muslims (monotheists) outside of the forum. Personally, I am very picky, so most likely I will only get to know those FM members that I think/feel I have a lot in common with, especially when it comes to my view on islam and the quran. But even though I am picky, there are many members in this forum that write things that resonates with me.

I like the idea of networking. And I would like to get to know likeminded FM members, especially females. I have had some female friends in the past. But I have no female friends at the moment (in the present). I believe that males can learn a lot from females and their perspective on life. And I also think that females can learn a lot from men. I believe that friendships between men and women can be very rewarding. And I believe that men and women can enrich eachothers lives. Personally I want to remain single/unmarried the next few years. So I am ONLY looking for friendship (platonic relationships). If you are a female, and you think that we have similar views in regards to islam, quran and life, feel free to send me a PM. I promise I won't bite you P And I am not an alien or something who wants to abduct you P

Personally I am assimilated and in symbiosis with my God and we are not separate but His Spirit is in me, and can be in anyone else too if they open their eyes and push the Body aside in favor of their Spiritual self. That renders me a blasphemer and heretic according to many, especially if I say I am a son of God.

              Peace Man of Faith,

From my understanding of the Quran, God has no sons. Hence a human being can not be the son of God. See the verses below.

Quran 2116 And they said "God has taken a son!" Be He glorified. To Him is all that is in the heavens and the earth, all are devoted to Him.

Quran 6100 And they set up partners with God from among the Jinn, while He had created them. And they invented for Him sons and daughters without them having any knowledge! Be He glorified and exalted above what they describe.

Quran 6101 Originator of the heavens and the earth, how can He have a son when He did not take a wife? And He created all things and He is knowledgeable in all things.

Quran 1068 They said "God has taken a son." Glory be to Him! He is the Rich. To Him is what is in the heavens and the earth. Do you have proof for this? Or do you say about God what you do not know?

This is an interesting point. I was talking to one French Christian some time back and he said that he never believed that he is son of god in the real sense like his body is off spring produced from god or that god looks like him with head, shoulders etc.
What He said is due to the characteristics that man posses (like ability to see, hear, grasp, knowledge etc), man is like a derived version from the Lord.

However the Quranic verses mentioned specifically talks about people who claim that a certain prophet(s) is/are the son of God in the real sense, which I definitely a shirk. If you ask Christians today, they will believe the Jesus as son of God in the real sense and talk about trinity, yet they will not say that they are part of that trinity or the messengers who came before Jesus. This is all attributed to Jesus as a special case because they see a magic that He has no father, so definitely the Lord has created him in special way, of which I assume the Quran refutes. Otherwise we are all children of God in a symbolic sense.

The above is my opinion, please guide me fellows am wrong for I would never think for a second that God has begotten a son.

                cheers

Yes, I am aware of the Pagan interpretation of Quran.

The notion that God has a son seems to be rooted in superstition/paganism. Because there are more than 6000 verses in the quran, and not even one verse in the Quran states that God has a son. On the contrary, at least 4 verses in the quran indirectly states that God has no son.

The notion that God has a son seems to be widespread in our world because of a distorted/contradicting bible and christian missionaries who have falsely preached that Jesus is the son of God for hundreds of years. Not even one verse in the quran states that Jesus is the son of God. But on the contrary, there are 22 verses in the Quran that states that Jesus/Isa is the son of mary (see verses 287, 2253, 345, 4157, 4171, 517, 546, 572, 575, 578, 5110, 5112, 5114, 5116, 931, 1934, 2350, 337, 4357, 5727, 616, 6114).

Depends on what you connote by son, if it means symbiosis with the Oneness of existence or some sort of pathetic biological son, because then it is Paganism. But to make a separate object (objectification) out of a god is more Paganism than to make yourself in the Grand Consciousness. You surely agree that God created you, that means you are created, and if you acknowledge that you are to tread in His image then you can metaphorically have a Father - son relationship in unity, because the Father is very tight on you to the extent that you are an expression of Him in His Oneness. He does not mind that for those who work His will.

Additionally, your Spirit was made in the image of your Creator, meaning if you nurture it so that it grows you can consider yourself a child of God thus, because your Spiritual affinity and relationship works on such level as if it was a family trait. There is obviously alternative metaphorical language one can use too, but Father - son works. Furthermore, God is also called Father in the second chapter already where the corrupted interpretations say otherwise, so there is a connection. The issue for us is that we have to "separate our Spirit from the Body" to be able to see this tie and be able to grow spiritually rather than being the Beast we are trapped inside, or otherwise our Spirit fades and we are the animal and thus we cannot call ourselves sons or daughters because we simply identify us with the Body. But if you do as Jesus taught then it is plausible to call yourself a son of God due to your identification with your raw Spirit and that you can discover yourself and then you can also see the Father.

Quran's sectarian interpretation uses "Mushrik" to imply polytheism by contemporary interpreters but the deluded medieval ones implied that it is when you associate anything with God that it is wrong. It was to combat the Mesopotamian Gnostics of that time who called themselves sons of God albeit rightfully because it is how things work but these doctrine inventors corrupted this scripture called Quran into saying something which it does not. They followed what Jesus taught about becoming One with God which was according to the Decree of Moses. Moses was taught "I am who am I" concerning God's nature and Jesus told people "I am in the Father and the Father in me", but also Abraham knew "Be sound (aslama) as the Rabb" during his time. The Islamic account is a hoax and originates from Pagan ideas and perception of the World in hedonistic terms. God is as materialized as the World to them.

The fact is that it is meant that you are to associate yourself with God, quite ironical to the Pagan intrusion on the interpretation, you are supposed to merge with God. That is because your Father created your Spirit but placed it within a Body, let it be deluded and have to grow in a contradiction, an illusion that was made to be corrupting and deceiving. But in fact you should find your way back to your Father rather than succumb to the test environment you are in.

The word allah is a structure of the root Alif-Lam-Lam and means "be such as" and the third-person singular suffix , and means "who is as such" or "who is being" (+ relevant attribute given by context) and thus is neither proper nor standard noun in the language. The very common AL prefix in the Arabic language also uses the Alif-Lam-Lam root and such that you know it is used to give attribute to another word meaning it can be said to be an adjective. Also morphologically the two letters together mean "be such" + word used. The one who can draw parallels obviously see that this is a third-person variant of the "I am who am I" (who is it).

But I am not forcing anyone to hearken unto anything; you can continue to cling unto this worldly perception and being deluded from your Creator on the "stumbling block" second commandment violation if you like, creating an image of God rather than "be as it" . I do this because I am kind and pity you should be without proper information.

I suggest you for not asking guidance/guide to fellow humans (other creations).

This is a fallacious argument because you rely on the guidance of another merely by trusting their interpretation since you do follow someone's interpretation by following Quran unless you really analyze it to pieces yourself. When you learn Arabic from someone else you follow someone's guidance. The argument does not hold.

It is better to trust the Holy Spirit that is with us and reject your primitive husk.

Are not the planets and earth dead matter (only animated by the Noor)? And so is your Body, it is only the son of Flesh and no more, a "Jannateh of Jann". The son of God must come from the Spirit which is the Father's son/daughter being of His image. Obviously not by material perception but one has to erase that human fallible thinking.

The World including your Body is just a contradiction (illusion) to you being projected by the Father in order to test you, and it was made to corrupt and deceive you that you enjoy indulgence and to be it. The Decree of Moses was made to give the perceptive person hints to what causes a desire to be it and how to dodge the stumbling blocks. The stronger the preventive measures are against falling for the List of Ten the quicker progress is of ascension, but there are also people who enforce its strictness by adding such was never authorized to be written down or manipulate the Decree so that it removes its "Do not". Particularly sectarian validation of Holy War is such modification.

It is important to know that even being (aggressive) emotional is detrimental and against the Decree because it is the first step towards murder which is the extremity. Same with that Jesus taught that even looking at a woman and you have committed adultery in your head because adultery is just the extremity but even to lust for women/men around you triggers Satan (the instinct) and thus has a detrimental effect on your growing Spirit.

I think you don't understand what I meant, or perhaps you're not able to understand such thing - and that's not my problem.

In my view, you're not following the Qur'an - but you abuse the Qur'an, and your words were dangerous, grave, untrustworthy, and disgusting.

May Allah protect the believers from your evil nonsense. They should obey Allah and not you.

And you, remember that you will return to Allah. Maybe you could deceive some people and yourself, but you will never be able to deceive your Creator.

                                        Hello,

In fact, God refers to each commandment as "stumbling block" (hajjarateh) and that has its obvious reasons as you can probably understand. Just look at how ambiguous "no jealousy" is as a law.

However, I know that Muslims in many cases have done away with the Torateh, thinking previous Decree-material is abrogated.

So that means animals do not have the spirit or soul?
Also how one would interpret verse 3372
                                          cheers
