Is Qur'an Alone the Last Step Before Leaving Islam Completely?

Allah's ayaat/signs are not found ONLY in Quran as per al-quran itself.
4153 We will show them ayaatina/our signs in the horizons, and within themselves, until it becomes clear to them that this is the truth. Is it not enough that your lord is witness over all things?
The signs/ayaat are in the horizons (which includes other books, the universe etc.) and within ourselves (inner compass/conscience 3030) also and not in Quran alone. ALL THOSE VERIFIED SIGNS SHOULD MATCH AND NOT CONTRADICT and that is the yardstick to verify any truth including al-quran itself.
Saying "Quran alone" means allah's signs are found ONLY in Quran which is inventing a lie and it definitely contradicts al-quran itself and also contradicts the divine signs being present in the horizons and within ourselves.
How to figure out which signs are of divine origin? Use the inner compass/conscience (3030), mind/reason (numerous signs), knowledge (1736), other real world evidence (4153). All those signs should match and not contradict for them to be of divine origin. If any sign contradicts with the other known and verified signs, it can be discarded as a lie and a fabrication.
The first step into entering the deen/system of "islam"/peacemaking is actually ALLAH ALONE and not "Quran alone". "Quran alone" is still a step in the wrong direction. Al-quran contains signs of divine origin for our guidance, but they are not the ONLY signs of divine origin.

I use to frequent this site often a couple of years ago but as the conversations died down (I didn't see the vets around anymore ) and I progressed on my journey I stopped coming. Recently in the past year I have really had these same concerns but no one to discuss them with. I look forward to reading through this thread and hopefully can add to the discussion! Also what a coincidence this was posted on my bday!

This is exactly the kind of input I was looking for, someone who has generally done exactly that who can provide reasons for not frequenting much anymore.
I do see this as well, as I've mentioned before there were really fiery discussions between general Quran Aloners/More metaphorical believers and more traditional but not necessarily full hadith believing Muslims (I dropped Ahmed Bahgat's name earlier), there were also more Atheists around who used to challenge everyone else's assumptions which was alway healthy for debate.
What I can see is that the discussions have taken on more of a New Age twist with some of the most active members talking of 'channelling' and the like so it's a very interesting and direction for the forum to go to. Who knows in 5 years time it may go into full Crystal healing and spiritualism territory laugh

Base on my experience, 'Quran alone' could lead the reader (who research its contents and belief in it) to exit the commonly practiced Islam.
The Quran does promote 'Quran alone', monotheism, 'do good', 'leave the bad' and a tinge of daily ritual practice to remind the faithful of the Creator.
There are other practices that is attached to Islam like haj. saum, or even forms of punishment, etc that in my view are not conclusive or unclear thus making them by default not obligatory; and there are instructions that appears tied to the context in the story/example given in the Quran ie not making them law for everyone.
After turning to the Quran alone, most would turn to other source of knowledge, the objective is to supplement or acquire more knowledge. This is where some will abandon the Quran thus no longer hold either Quran's teachings nor the common Islam. Some will find themselves confused, thus they will reverse to their earlier state or just renounce everything.
For those who have gone outside the Quran for more knowledge (like referring to other religion books)- literally means you no longer refer to the Quran alone. Referring to a linquist, lexicon, dictionary to research the meanings of the Quran is excluded although contamination does happen that leads to inaccurate understanding. But here is where faith comes in, as the Creator says in the Quran that if you are true in faith, your course will be corrected (from the story of Abraham).
The point here is the Quran leaves you wanting for more knowledge but this thirst for knowledge can lead you far away from the Quran's teachings. Most muslims think they are on the right path but they do not follow the Quran as they read the Quran beautifully without knowing its meanings. A minority follow the Quran but the insatiable thirst for knowledge leads most of them further (as the Quran say most are led by conjectures). Only a minority few (the minority of the minority) manages to persevere and stay the Quran's course (the Quran does say to avoid asking for what you do not know off). And it is this minority of the minority that becomes the faithful and close to the Creator.
Nonetheless, the merciful Creator does say in the Quran that we only need to avoid hell to be successful - maybe not exactly minority of the minority whom I believe achieve a high status.
The only part of religion in the Quran is monotheism and the practice it commands is some alone time to thank the Creator. Any addition to that would depend on the individual's understanding of what the Quran say. Obviously, I could not understand those other practices clear enough for them to be binding.
Then there are parts of faith like hell, heaven, judgement day, reward etc that can be interpreted differently but conceptually it is part of faith. For those who dismisses the faith elements then surely he has left the Quran.
The most confusing part what is Allah? and is Allah the God? What about the concept of man and God, does that create a duality. The one who follows the Quran alone would just rest on Allah is the Creator and other beings including ourselves are the created. The Creator can never be the `created' and vice versa. Logically following the same argument, the Creator cannot be created otherwise it cannot be. I mean we are talking about the beginning of all things created. Even at its simplicity it can get confusing, so rest at that and accept it as it is unless specific knowledge is given by inspiration like all first knowledge and this kind of knowledge will definitely confuses people.

A couple longstanders here have been overly defensive and have come to the conclusion I'm trying to find holes or something, the point of my post was to investigate root causes of people leaving and see if these can be addressed in order for Free-Minds to reach a critical mass and acheive the thing many people here have been posting about - that being creating a true Qur'an alone movement that doesn't just exist in cyberspace.
Maybe you're directing the question to the wrong people.
I think social media has had a big influence on reaching masses. It's nice to feel belonging and part of a community. I've met up with people with similar beliefs and sure it's nice but in the end everyone just lives their own lives and catches up here and there.
What would the aim of a movement achieve? Anyway it seems like you may be meeting with others locally, so that's good. You'll get to know what it's like in person not just cyberspace.

I m living in birminghma I can manage to come ,,, actually sarah is right we should open a channel in which we will remove the misconception of the people ,,, its time to step a head,,, I know everybody have a same problem their own families are traditional muslim,,, like my own family ,,, its difficult to convince people ,, but its not impossible ,,, I was looking to make videos and programmes in which they get a moral lesson,,, I have long planning anyway,,, if anybody plan same like me ,,, then we should walk on this path ,, together towards ,,the Quran based law,,,
