I watched this the other day, it talks about how Christianity was an invention of the Flavian Dynasty of Rome. The Link to the video is at the top.

No, the Qur'an does not speak about a Jesus but about an 3isa. To think that it is the same person is an error.

        Salaam

            Hello,

is pronounced Yesua. It is just people who cannot speak Arabic who say Isa, because some time upon history Arabic was perverted by some ignorant scholars.

No, not at all. Whether Jesus son of Mary existed as such a person or not, I do not know, but either way, he most certainly is not 3isa ibnu Maryam nor Maryam was mary of the Gospels.

Maryam of the Qur'an is the daughter of 3imran, sister of Harun, who had a son of unknown father while being unmarried and who was accosted andmaligned because of that. No mention in the Qur'an of any migration with a husband cover called Josef or any other name, nothing of that, no husbnd or any other man ever mentionned in the Qur'an who would mkeher appear better. Her honour came through her son, who was good and deferential to her ever. And her honour came from God, who always sustained her and led her as He does with all His proophets.

The story and people told about in the gospels are giving us a message, a very interesting message of great spiritual and human value, but that is the message of the gospels not of the Qur'an, as far as those persons who are being confused are concerned.

Maryam came to make true the divine command in 4.1. Honour God about whom you ask yourselves, and honour the wombs. Maryam was the test for humanity to honour the wombs, to liberate newborns of the property of men and acknowledge that whe woms are only responsible to God and children, all children are not a possession of men but of God, and when we do that, we have children that make the human beings of clay and turn them into birds, who fly free and high. It is the spiritual future of humanity if we care to acknowledge.

he message of the gospels is another, very important but not the same. And both messages are not contradictory but are different. Mixing things up make us not tounderstnd neither one of them.

It is understandable that many Muslims in a

good willed but misguided attempt to be friendly with christians and chritianity try to make an identity with Maryam and her son of the Qur'an with the characters in the gospels, but even though well intentioned it is counterproductive. It only produces confusion and besides misconstrues the Qur'an, subverting the persoality of the single mother shunned and spotted with a rosy picture of a birth in a manger and with a great very slef denying cover father.

Mixing two things that are completely different we make no service to neither one.

Let the gospels be the gospels, let the Qur'an be the Qur'n, which says what it says and not what those who would like it to conform to the gospels or to confirm them say that it says.

Enough of contorting the Qur'an tomake it fit other stories. Enough of it.

There is no shade of doubt whatsoever. Where are the Roman rulers and soldiers int he Qur'a surrounding marYam and 3isa? Where are so many other things which by allmeans belie the dscription of Maryam nd 3isa to a world and message that is not what the Qur'an clearly states.

Please see how 3isa wasborn and see what the gospels say about the birth of Jesus, whoever he was or not was.

              Wake up.

With this Pazuzu did a mgificent job for which he deserves all respect. Now taking advantage tht he came out with the (in my view) the blunder on the flat earth it seems that those who know his work on other things feel free to discard the lot without looking into the merits if ech question.

Who loses? Not Pazuzu nor God, nor Maryam nor 3isa, but us those who are supposed to receive the message.

              Salaam

kamenriderkiki, huruf and Man of Faith - I can definitely say that this thread has certainly gotten off to a good start!

Building on from the issue of Jesus' name (which the documentary touches upon), did you all watch it fully and also what other comments do you have regarding its claims?

And remember that your own Religion was also invented in nearly the same manner.
There are patterns within how Religion was invented.

And there are no such thing as God's religion or True religion..

Agree. Many people here struggle to differentiate between religion and Quranic islam(submission to the Rabb).

Yes, the issue of Jesus has massive ramifications on the Islam.

I differentiate between sectarianism and religion. Religion per definition is probably from the word RELY

1100-1200 Latin religio, probably from religare; RELY

                        Source Longman Advanced American Dictionary

Religion means simply what you rely upon in your life. Then after that it depends on what you make of it, if you do like sectarians and radicalize yourself. At that point you can say what kind of concept you make of the God phenomenon. The God phenomenon makes some people lunatics, particularly when they turn the faith into clear worship and a strictly separate god that requires a lot of obeisance, which is just what the primitive human mind wants to make of it.

The wise one emphasizes on Bodily control, to be empathetic and a good man or woman, and disregards all the nonsense. That will make the "God" happy who resides within you, "I am who am I".
