      Salam,

"plus the ones leagally in your possession."

      Who are they ???

And shooting flowers and stuff sounds cool but doesnt fit the quran.

      Peace, Love to you,

I don't meant to have the ones in your possession as well as one. Just have one and love her the way you would love all of the others put together.

If you Google Quran on women, or something.g on those lines you shod be able to fi.d a verse that talks about how you can have sex with up to four wives , plus the ones in your possession( I think it's talking about slaves.

But then again somewhere in the Quran it says that you should sat the slaves free.

Like I said I can take the Quran only as a metaphor if I was going to practice it. It's hard enough making one women's life good, let alone four or ten or something. I would never share a girlfriend or a wife with someone else, and I am asuming that women would like to be the only one in your life. But maybe you could devote yourself to her like you would to four.

I am just talking about alternative God Alone Islam. I can't do it any other way.

      Thanks

          Hello Kingkreem,

Beneath that worldly (interpretation of) Quran is another book however. One just has to look in the right place. If one believes sectarian scholars and clerics then that is what they get because they are responsible for the result of that interpretation.

If you have lost faith in that you should adopt sanity instead. Quran in its mainstream shape is not particularly worthy as guidance and actually quite misleading. I can just tell you that what Jesus allegedly told in the biblical gospels is rather correct to most part, even that people should be "Children of the Father" as it is written. It is a matter of interpretation.

I just wish you would realize what the cryptic "Children of Israel" really means. It is quite intriguing actually. You would never guess perhaps.

What does it mean? Could you explain?

What does it mean? Could you explain?

The Chief's Children, i.e. God's children, with a cryptic code name. In Arabic, "bani" does not necessarily mean blood tie but it may refer to "being with someone's affinity/traits". That is the secret. Therefore I could be a "child of Israel" too, no problem.

The worst problem for you is if you are among the stray sheep of the Children of Israel. Unfortunately many sheep are just astray because many self-proclaimed shepherds have led them unto bad grazing grounds. Beware of such wolves in disguise.

(pay attention to that I am speaking in parables above)

Do you think they twisted the letters and made "Israil" out of "Al Raiis" (in arabic both words use exactly the same letters) or how do you get that conclusion??

But anyway. Why would God make it so complicated for us?He could just write everything clear in a few words and everything would be cool. Instead he sends everything in crypted messages while people are suffering and dying because of misinterpretations? Hmm...

                  Hello Kingkreem,

I searched within the root of "israel" and applied some thinking including contemplated how Jesus is using the term "Children of Israel" in his alleged sayings. Sera means someone who is addressed that is worthy of additional respect, but can also refer to the highest point/peak.

Two derived root words (Lane's Lexicon)

Siin-Ra-Ya = to travel during the night, to depart/pass. asra - to make anyone to travel by night, repair to an upland. sarat - highest point, summit. sariyyan - rivulet, fountain, stream, chief of the nation

(K,) high or elevated rank or condition, nobility, dignity, honour, or glory.

whence the phrase , meaning The best of them in respect of chiefdom or the like or it may be
from ; meaning in this instance that the fame of the chiefdom, or the like, of him to whom it relates
has pervaded the countries and spread among mankind; and this is more worthy of regard in respect of
                  the method of grammatical analysis

Siin-Ra-(Ra) = glad/delight/happiness/joy/rejoice, sarra - to speak secretly, divullge a secret, manifest a secret, secret, heart, conscience , marriage, origin, choice part, mystery, in private, to conceal/reveal/manifest, sarir - couch/throne

also signifies (tropical Dominion, sovereignty, rule, or authority

Considered sources usually address people "Children of Israel" that draws me the conclusion it is a general address and that it is a little intentionally ambiguous. It may also be that it refers to "secret", but nevertheless the term "Israel" refers back to God. It could also be that it is "The secret children (of God)", but I opt for chief in this case. It is important to know that every Semitic (including Arabic) name has a meaningful meaning, often associated with their destiny when it was given in ancient times.

But anyway. Why would God make it so complicated for us?He could just write everything clear in a few words and everything would be cool. Instead he sends everything in crypted messages while people are suffering and dying because of misinterpretations? Hmm...

It is because those with intellectual dishonesty (hypocrites included) are not to take the right path. God (the Rabb) intentionally uses riddle-like language and has done so throughout history. Much is about each individual's personal intelligence that is being tested. It may seem that God is very cynical, but I call it testing. After all it is not so damned difficult to find out if one just applies a bit of thinking. Do you think that I was working on this all my life?

The interpretation of Quran you cannot accuse God for. If one cannot interpret something without bias they should not try. Because people interpret Quran with a preconceived mind they do not find what they seek. It is not so odd that the Quran would reveal a message fairly similar to what Jesus spoke about in the Biblical Gospels, but for some reason it takes a different turn into a more Paganish faith system with once more a jealous deity with death threats for disbelieving in it. Reflect upon which the most advanced being in the universe would be offended if people did not believe in it?

You have me as a living example that Quran is not cryptic enough that an initially being amateur could break its code. I just pushed all bias and preconception aside and deciphered Quran objectively. I do not expect what it is going to say but I let the ancient Arabic speak for itself.

                    Peace,

My post was written when I was feeling a bit hyped up.

What I have written is not what the God teaches in the Quran.

I think it was lawfull to merry four wives because of the men duying in wars and women needed man for survival, otherwise the women couldn't support themselves. However, there must be something more to it than just that, since the Quran was wtiten for today, future as well as of course for the time when it was revealed.

I totally twisted it, and I am sorry for that.

Now what is also very important is to clear up all of the so called contradictions in the Quran. And if you go to Quranic divinity section there are suggestions of specific so called contradictions in the Quran.

Is it moral to marry four wives and have sex with women in your possession is also verry important to answer.

So I invite you all to go to that section and give explanations.

We all need to be comfortable and trully accept the Quran and answer any critics and accusations against it.

                    Thanks
