New site - Islam Wiki/forum/etc

Peace all,
I have a proposal to make, i would like to know if there is demand/interest in the following idea.
A Islam/monotheism Website with features such as
-wiki
-forum
-articles
-chat
-multi-lingual
-events calendar
-rss feeds
-etc etcthe website would be based on tiki wiki cms groupware which has great features

I would be able to sort out hosting/domain and be able to cover the cost (God willing with a little help)
anyone interested?
i think it would be a great idea to incorporate all the great features into one place, and the wiki aspect to allow users to essentualy create a wiki on all things islam/monotheism as it is in the quran
i look foward to hearing your feedback/ideas/comments/critisism

Essentially I should be able to get it up and running on my own at least to start with although it will probably eventually need some funding depending on how it grows (in poor lol) and some trustworthy admins/moderators.
It takes a bit too get my head around using tiki wiki as an admin but I will trial it out on my personal webpage first and God willing should be able to figure it all out

Instead of starting a brand new site, have you thought about proposing to the guys here about a Free-Minds wiki?
That way you'd be building on an already existing visitor base.
tiki wiki isnt just a wiki, its an all-in-one out of the box program which incorporates eveerything you could possibly want and more into one place;

etcthis site is great as a forum but you cant build anything more then a forum on top of forum software. it would be like bulding a building upside down. the software used to run this site (simple machines forum) is made for a forum.

The simple machines forum used here is in a forum directory, there aren't limitations to what else you can put on this domain.

i realise this, however the point i would like to emphasize is the tiki wiki allows the following
-global tags
-global categories
in other words everything whether its wiki article blog forum etc uses theese tags so its easy to find relevant info, which is a main goal of implimenting this ideahypothetically you could easily add a wiki to free-minds.org, however integrating it with the forum would be a development nightmare. and then what happens when you want to add articles? or anything else?
the purpose of tiki and its advantage over similar cms/forum/wiki software is that it has all the possible features you could want out of the box.. no incompatibility issues or rangling databases etc to work between different softwares or a software base with different addons, and the hassle of incompatiblity when it comes to upgrading etc..
from a development point of view using tiki wiki is a dream come true.. simple.. max 20 clicks and its installed. backup, upgrading, transfering to new domains etc is easy its one database. and it has a massive online community with support, addons, etc.
from a design point of view its extremely customizable, has heaps of themes, and the design is all module-based and is based on responsive web design so it will work whether you have a small phone, big phone, tablet, general pc or giant ridiculous-resolutioned monitor with 2800*1250 pixels
the only downside is i have not had success with trialing it in a WAP browser, it seems to crash all the emulators ive tried, which is maybe an advantage that free-minds has over my proposition. also considering WAP browsers hardly make a mention 0.0...%- <1% of statistics i think its a small price to pay for what you get. i did manage to load a page at tiki.org which uses tiki wiki so it might work, im not sure though as i dont have an 'actual' wap browserfrom a user-end point of view it would offer all the relevant info on true/Quran submission/islam to the user, with the ability to not only view but actively participate in creation and development of articles, wikis, discussions, etc.
its also easy to customise for the user as well
