do you have to recite the english quran in rhytmic tone?
-
you dont have to sing the quran, but the thing is since its in arabic you miss the rhythm of the original ayah if you recite it in another language i just recite slowly it its not realy singing even in arabic because i prefer to reflect on what im reciting. but there is good rhyme and rhythm in arabic. just recite however is easiest for you to understand and reflect upon what your reciting.

Since most muslims recite the arabic quran in slow rhytmic tones (singing) do you also have to sing the quran in other language also like english?
Yes as long as you sing the Quran using "Harmonic Minor" scale. (Middle eastern scale).
The only "Official scale" to sing the Quran.
https//youtu.be/xZttOW2jd7USomebody did tried to sing the Quran using "Pentatonic" scale (Eastern Asian scale) and received condemnation from the Islamic clerics.

You are meant to understand what you read in Quran. It is not a song book but a writing containing information.
Be safe
