Whats your opinion on why is it ok to marry up to four women?

I find it interesting you isolate one part of the verse, which is an obvious subclause. You will note that by itself the part you isolated makes no sense. It is part of a bigger conditional clause - which is proven by the Arabic itself.
43 basically says
if X then marry 2, 3, 4
so/then if Z then only oneBold = Arabic "fa" which is a resumption particle, i.e. it links two statements together (i.e. the one before with the one after)
Your approach seems to be ignore the first part, and select the second part, which by itself makes no sense. After considering the above, do you still hold such a view?
Traditional translations are a poor source of knowledge. Study The Quran itself www.StudyQuran.org
Yes. I have summarised my understanding earlier.

2827 said surely I want/desire that give in marriage/sponsor you one daughters dual mine these two on that thou work for me eight ijajin/migrations so if complete thou ten of so from near/unto you and not I want that make difficult upon you thou will find me if wills the god from the righteous
Peace, it seems similar as above what the father did to sponsor the marriage.
43 and if fear you that not thou deal justly ye of in/concerning the bereaved (i.e. mothers with orphaned children) so give in marriage/sponsor ye of what suitable for you from al-nisi/the womenfolk mathn/twosome wathultha/and three waruba/and group of four so if fear you that not thou just ye of fawidatan/so one (f/s) or what possess aymnukum/right hands (means/grasp) yours such lowest that not thou oppress ye of
Therefore anyone (male or female) addressed in the community can help pitch in to fund/sponsor the marriage of two/three/four bereaved women or one marriage or what possess aymnukum/right hands i.e. means or wherewithal yours including to sponsor a portion of one marriage or even the whole group if one has it within their means or control of enough wealth.
