I accept the result of your tinkering, Hizbullah and I do not mock it. It would not be impossible that Quran is written in a script from another script, but you have no concrete evidence of that, but I cannot prove the opposite either since I did not know the source who compiled Quran. No matter if Quran has changed character set or not I see no sign of any problem with corruption of how it is written by the scribes beyond the changes made at Sana'a. I respect your research and I appreciate someone who is thinking outside of the box, but never haste towards exclusive conclusions. If you can find some indication of corruption beyond the Sana'a manuscripts you are welcome to present it to me, but obviously with substantial source elaboration.

Quran is more an instruction and an instrument to teach spiritual matters than a manifestation of God's grandiose nature. It contains many psychological and pedagogical hints to reach an audience. The second person singular reference is not addressed to a person in the past but to whoever is reading the instructions and is able to comprehend the language as it was intended by the author. Why it seems to address a person in the past is because interpreters' problem in understanding the language. Actually it teaches whoever is reading it to relay whatever he/she can understand of what he/she reads. And often it contains a template of a lecture/lesson to help on how to teach a difficult/esoteric spiritual topic and how to penetrate someone's defenses on a controversial topic such as this that holds a lot of misconception and spread disinformation.

I did not mean "tinker" in a negative regard, but more like repairing or something similar. The word tinker does not have a negative meaning and it means to improve. If I would talk negatively I would use the word conjecture. If you read the whole post you would see that it is incoherent that it would be read negatively considering the post in its entirety. It is such contextual checking you would have to do when deciphering Quran before jumping to conclusions. So despite I advised you not to hasten you did.

I thought you were going to reply in a friendly way and say that you would share your results with me whenever you make progress.
