Kafirs

Salaam,
How do you translate the blue part of the next verse
239Salaam,
BenderThose who COVER / CONCEAL / HIDE / SUPPRESS (Thus it will not spread or others will not know) and deny our signs.
Denying is one thing, but trying to conceal the truth is much worse...
Example
A murderer or corrupt religious leader will deny that he or she is guilty of murder or spreading illogical lies.. (obviously)And naturally he or she will try to cover all possible evidence through the means of
- Destroying evidence
- Spreading lies and propaganda
- Eliminating / killing witnesses
- Attacking those who dare to uncover his/her falsehood
- Trying to destroy the reputation or the life of those who dare to speak up against him / her.
-
If vb. (to deny) is mis-translated as "to cover" then what becomes of its direct-antonym (vb. ن ?! To "uncover" ?!?
I rest my case.
EXACTLY....
The opposite are those who "Uncover".... those who "Discover"..
Even against all odds...
Even with the risk of being alienated, beheaded, crucified, burnt at the stake, stoned to death, tortured or murdered. As the "Kuffar" will try those brutal deeds towards those who tried to uncover things which they tried to cover..
-
salaamun bro,
You had this
I read it like this ABAA + STAKBAR + KAFIR
("+" = WA)You read it like this ABAA + STAKBAR = KAFIR
(first WA = "+", second WA = "="may Allah bless you to pr
BenderSalaamun,
;D Cool ;D
Nice observation, mashaAllah. Thanks.
May the Sustainer increase our knowledge and guide us on His path pr

I rest my case.. let the audience decide..
KUFR = CONCEALING / HIDING
It's clear as bright day light..
The Kufr characteristic can be found anywhere..| https//d.gr-assets.com/authors/1391265856p2/6397759.jpg
| ?If the people of this religion are asked about the proof for the soundness of their religion, they flare up, get angry and spill the blood of whoever confronts them with this question. They forbid rational speculation, and strive to kill their adversaries. This is why truth became thoroughly silenced and concealed.?- Muhammad Ibn Zakaria Al Razi, 9th century Ulema (the word "Scientist" wasn't invented yet back then)
-
Hi Jafar,
You and that 9th century scholar are not wrong, kafar does mean either to cover or be covered depending on grammar. In ancient lexicons there is an example of a farmer who covers the ground with seeds. It appears that the Arabic can also refer to be covered as that you are prevented (covered) mentally which I would call "deluded". Deluded is English and means you believe something to be true while it is not.
Linguistically in my reinterpretation of Quran I have found occasions when the language says something is covered by a topic. It appears its everyday ancient usage is "to cover" and that very descriptively just like every Arabic and Semitic word. Because the language is quite primitive, if you kafar someone it means you cover them and thus make them fooled. If you are kafar'ed it means you are covered, like blind and prevented from seeing straight (i.e. you are deluded).
So literally in Arabic you say cover and the language is very "painting" of what you like to convey, i.e you describe very much the action primitively.
The word for believe is Za-Nun-(Nun) and not amin. Another lesson for those who have bought the imposed delusion of the ancient clerics who fabricated Islam. You can verify it using a classical Arabic lexicon if you do not believe my word and think I am rambling in ignorance.
Be safe

Few example of typical statement from a Kafir / those who try to conceal
"The earth is flat. Whoever claims it is round is a kafir / enemy of Allah and their blood is halal to be shed"
If one think that earth is flat.. then fine...
But declaring those who dare to think otherwise must or should be killed is a desperate effort to hide their own incompetency on the matter.Another example
"He who claimed to be a Mossiach has certainly performed the crime of blasphemy and worthy of death as written in the Torah"If one disagree on any title claimed by somebody then fine..
But killing the claimant is just too much...Another example
"He who has insulted our God (or Gods) by smashing the "holy artifact" of our God (or Gods) has has certainly performed the crime of blasphemy to our God (or Gods) and must be burned alive!"He who smashed / destroyed an object not belonging to him is certainly guilty of destroying other people's property.
However punishing him with death by burning just because he has insulted "Our God" is certainly an act of harsh brutality.
The true intention of such brutal punishment was actually to instill fear upon the people to ensure "holy artifact" continue to be respected and an effort to silence / stop the spread of the ideology / idea of those who don't believe in such holy artifact. -
Still
Nil qurnic passage in support of as "to cover" !
Need i remind you, we're not discussing/defining KFR according to the multi-religious Jafarean doctrine, but per the Arabian Qurn.
Ps. Earth's flatness/levelness is an observable living fact. The reason you live in Denial and belie your own eyes is because you were conditioned since childhood to believe/imagine that u live on a heliocentric spinning/rotating ball (that somehow holds water, &c.) ! U deny Reality, for u've invested too much Ego to let go (of the bubble) ??? To us mavericks (FE advocates), Earth's flatness is not a "belief" based thing, but an evidence based thing. Ie. you believe earth is spherical (=faith) coz nasa/tv/school said so. I know it's flat instead of rotund because I've seen more than enough evidence. I'm aware (through my own mind and senses) that we live on a flat motionless Plane. When reading Map, I lay it flat on table.

Salaam,
There is one group in the quran where no single verse speaks good about them. This group is known as "KAFIRS".
I took a look at some translations and this is what I found how translators/interpretators translate/interpret this word.- Unbelievers
- Disbelievers
- Deniers of the truth
- Infidels
- Faithless ones
- Rejecters of Faith
- Rejecters
With these translations/interpretations, not only does the quran come over as a brutal book but in a lot of verses these interpretations do no make sense.
For example Iblies is a kafir and translators insist that Iblies is an unbeliever.
Also translation/interpretation of "kafir" should not be a word with a negation, like "UNbelievers" because there is simply no negation in the word kafir.
"Infidels" is imo also badly chosen because there are a lot of good "infidels".
So what does kafir mean if it is a word that is so bad that there is not a single positive thing in the quran about it?
I think the only word which is always bad, is evil it self. Is there anyone who can think of something positive in evil?
So imo kafir means something like "evil/evil ones/bad ones/etc etc etc"
I think a lot of verses wil make a lot of sense when you take this interpretation. What do you think?
Salaam,
Benderthere's a verse in the quran that says they are equally unbelievers, the pagans, those who refuse faith preferring other than Abrahamic monotheism, I think a kafir is one who rejects faith. i'll believe in ALLAH but not the angels or i'll believe in the quran but none of the books before it. from context clues anyone who is not Abrahamic monotheist who reject the messege or signs of ALLAH even one or two of them.
did your read the verses that tell you who qualifies to be a kafir? with those context clues you can find out better maybe? -
CU + those who denied and belied our Signs ...
Hi,
Ok thank you.
Here in this case you read it like "those who denied our signs" and this is now indeed a complete sentence and makes sense. Because here we get to know what they deny.
But in verses like 8519 we have no information about what they deny and yet they are accused of "fi takthieb", therefore I think "deny" is not accurate enough.
I don't believe that Allah is so severe about deniers only because they deny, because denying in itself is not something bad to get damnation. -
Those who COVER / CONCEAL / HIDE / SUPPRESS (Thus it will not spread or others will not know) and deny our signs.

Hi,
How do we call the ones who murders and then publish the heads of the victims on social media.
He is not concealing anything, actually it more like he is proud of what he did and want to show the world what he is capable of. -
Hi,
Till now I have had only alternatives to my interpretation of kafirs.
Of course I appreciate every alternative and every alternative should be examined, I also gave for some my objections.
But I have had 0 objections why "evil/bad" is not accurate.
I really like to hear some objections so that I can adjust/correct my interpretation to something more accurate.Salaam,

RED Yes of course, they are always doing something bad/evil.
That's why I think if they always do bad/evil and if they are always promised hell then they must be evil ones. And thus that the word kfr must carry in itself evilness. -
Kaafirs are those who cover themselves from the guidance of common god's/goodness message, one who denies that i do not want to hear anything, rejecting to take whats being said. Suppose we are given some advice we should atleast contemplate whats being said and then decide if its good or wrong but to completely reject hearing it is wrong.

Peace Bender.
There are also those who pretend to believe ,but are not really believers? GOD does not call them "Kufar",they are called "Munafiqeen",they are "Fi alddaraki alasfali mina al Naar". i.e they are worse?
Do those who commit sins think that they can ever fool us? Wrong indeed is their judgment.
Do not argue on behalf of those who have wronged their own souls; God does not love any betrayer, guilty.
They hide from the people, and do not care to hide from God, though He is with them as they harbor ideas He dislikes. God is fully aware of everything they doMay be they pretend to believe ,then they do the following?
The only ones who fabricate false doctrines are those who do not believe in God's revelations; they are the real liars.
Does it ever occur to those who fabricate lies about God that they will have to face Him on the Day of Resurrection? Certainly, God showers the people with His grace, but most of them are unappreciative.
Note how they fabricate lies about God; what a gross offense this is!
Who are more evil than those who fabricate lies about God? They will be presented before their Lord, and the witnesses will say, "These are the ones who lied about their Lord. God's condemnation has befallen the transgressors."
You shall not utter lies with your own tongues stating "This is lawful, and this is unlawful," to fabricate lies and attribute them to God. Surely, those who fabricate lies and attribute them to God will never succeed.
Those who conceal our revelations and guidance, after proclaiming them for the people in the scripture, are condemned by God; they are condemned by all the condemners
Those who conceal God's revelations in the scripture, in exchange for a cheap material gain, eat but fire into their bellies. God will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. They have incurred a painful retributionHere is GOD s description of them " The Munafiqeen"
Then there are those who say, "We believe in God and the Last Day," while they are not believers.
In trying to deceive God and those who believe, they only deceive themselves without perceiving.
In their minds there is a disease. Consequently, God augments their disease. They have incurred a painful retribution for their lying.
God mocks them, and leads them on in their transgressions, blundering.
It is they who bought the straying, at the expense of guidance. Such trade never prospers, nor do they receive any guidance.
Under the guise of their apparent faith, they repel the people from the path of God. Miserable indeed is what they do.
This is because they believed, then disbelieved. Hence, their minds are blocked; they do not understandThen of course there are other kind, they could be "Kuffar or Munafiqeen"?
Woe to the cheaters.
Who demand full measure when receiving from the people.
But when giving them the measures or weights, they cheat.
"Do not cheat the people out of their rights, and do not roam the earth corruptinglyJust presenting another angle?
Such a abroad subject" KFR"?
GOD bless you.
Peace. -
A Kafir is an atheist.
Many of the Kafir were actually THEIST.
How do we call the ones who murders and then publish the heads of the victims on social media.
He is not concealing anything, actually it more like he is proud of what he did and want to show the world what he is capable of.Definitely a murderer...
Psychopath might be another probability..Digging further.. what is his motives of murder? and publishing it on the social media?
An example of Kuffar performing publicized murder.. (with motives to conceal the truth).
A pair of cousins suddenly rise to rockstar celebrity status due to their public speaking and wonderful deeds that Wow the public audience. They speak topics from spirituality up to politics. Alas.. they tend to said negative things about the local religious establishment / organization, calling them liars, hypocrites and corrupt.
The religious establishment acted swiftly to 'resolve this threat'.. they beheaded one of them hang his head for public display to deliver a message "If you dare to speak ill about us / our opinion / our belief / our God / our Holy Book, then you will end up losing your head".
And certainly they also delivered a personalized message to the other cousin to stop saying the things that is not favorable for them or you shall face the same fate as your cousin.
