Hey, would like to hear Quranist opinions about this verse in the Quran

Assuredly you have in God's Messenger an excellent example to follow for whoever looks forward to God and the Last Day, and remembers and mentions God much. -3321

Doesn't this justify sunnah and hadith?

Hi and welcome to the forum handshake

There used to be one here (forgot who) who would answer like this
        604 "... "
Where can we find the sunnah and ahadith of Ibrahim (and those with him)?

        Salaam,
        Bender

One is not equal to the other

God's Messenger an excellent example to follow
          &
sunnah and hadith of Bukhari et al. (i.e. the alleged example of God's messenger)

In Quran you will find undisputed examples. In Traditional Hadith/Sunnah you will find alleged examples.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

The excellent example does not break Quranic laws and neither makes his own.

6944-48 - Had he uttered any other teachings. We would indeed have seized him by his right hand. And would have cut off his main vein. None of you could have helped him. This is a reminder for the righteous.

The man found in sunnah and hadiths broke Quran laws way too many times.

Do consider the following quotes from earliest traditionalists

            1. Sharh Najh ul Balagha by Izz al-Din Abd al-Hamid ibn Hibat-Allah ibn Abi al-Hadid
"Lies were introduced in Hadeeth on merits originally by Shi?a. They in the beginning fabricated many Hadeeth in favour of their man motivated by enmity towards their opponents. When Bakriyya
found out what Shi?a had done they fabricated on their part Hadeeth in favour of their man.?

"Then Mu`awiya wrote to his governors saying "Hadith about Uthman has increased and spread in every city, town and region. When this letter from me reaches you, summon the people to relate the merits of the Companions and the first caliphs. And do not let any Muslim relate anything about Ali without bringing something contradicting this about the Companions. This I like better and it pleases me more, it invalidates Abu Turab's claims and those of his Shi'ite in a more definitive way and it is for them more difficult to bear than the virtues and the merits of Uthman."

"Mu`awiya's letters were read out to the people. And many forged reports concerning the merits of the Companions, in which there was no truth, were related. The people went out of their way in relating reports in this vein until they spoke thereof in glowing terms from the pulpits. The teachers in the schools were instructed to teach their young pupils a vast quantity of these until they related them just as they studied the Qur'an and they taught these to their daughters, wives and servants. God knows how long they persisted in this."

            2.Ibn Katheer al-Bidaya wal-Nihaya
"Iraq has always been the central place for the fabrication business."

And the Messenger has said, "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur'an as abandoned."

Why the messenger missed hadith and sunnah in his statement? Doesn't this mean that the messenger only gave us Quran to follow?

everybody already know he only delievered quran . he only work for quran. he only receive quran. even when revelation comes on to him on very personal matters its quoated in quran somehow .we need to understand this principal .even a child knows bukhari muslims are not the personal work of prophet neither he was aware about them nor he gave the permission to write something apart from quran. if somebody write a book whatever in it and addresses to prophet Muhammad its not the fault of prophet same after the death of jesus if somebody claimed he is the son of god,, we can just say these people in our language law breakers, rebels, disobedient..but our traditional people makes them hero ,,let their account set on God ,, again if its happen there must be a reason..so these books you need to keep just for memorisisng the characters dates of events again its not 100 percent correct so unfortunately thats the only early history sources we have so we may need it for the purpose of history discussion not for religious discussion..

if they write it for history then its ok,, but if they write it to make a new law its something I cant digest...

if prophet lived his life in Europe then the dress of sunna will be the "three piece suit",,, if he lived in southeast asia,, our dress of sunna should be "shalwar qameez" he eats spicy food in southasia and pasta and fried chicken in Europe .. similarly he get birth in arab so he eat dates like other people and wear what other wears..

sometimes I look at the people with green head turban in very summer and they forcefully make it wear to kids as well I feel so strange .. they are acting in it like a school kid in uniform.. is it not unjustice how they are presenting the examples of prophet which he never never claimed and if child protest they suddenly raise their hand and ask him is it not shaitain who is telling you to remove this dress code miswak,, and so on,,, interestingly more than half of the bukhari sunna are proved wring infront of own scholars of this faith...
