brother who told you marriage is the huge part of deen?

yes about mother and sister along with other haram/prohibted relations one cannot marry ...

but apart from prohibted relation one can marry to whoever he/she wish...

but if you look properly what i said in my post and then after that you read the verses in which book is advising us to marry with the one who is similar in thinking with you , then marriage will be in your favor... thats what all i said...

I thought when es said marry who you want she was attempting to disregard the limits set up
But in terms of preference of course it is if each individual choosing

we need to see in from different lens...

i feel to share something with you... look just if you want to find your partner a God alone partner it takes ages... even throughut the globe you will find just very few of them...

then we will proceed to sunni/shia ...

but a problem for a person like me , the country where i am living is just 4 % muslim population .. and its not that easy...

now my age is droping down.. my desires are uncontrolleable... so what should a person in my position do...?

shall i just marry with christian ? becoz its better than illegal sex...

so my situation and your situation and everybody situation is different thats why God cannot forbid what he already know

marraige has nothing to do with deen...its the need of society... a journey to walk together...

I don't know about brother HP_TECH, but halfourdeen.com told me.

        ;D

I think marriage is important, and of course it is mentioned well in the Qur'an, but I think the aspect of marriage that is companionship is most important. We all need someone, or more than one. Some people find this in a partner, in marriage. Others find it in their family or friends. Or even in their children. But for the most part we all have that one person/group of people who are there for us and support us, and we are there for them in return.

But really the true companion is God only, one should spend his life time building and maintaining this companionship of God, to the point that walking alone no longer means walking alone but walking with everything. Now to go through life, at any stage of life, it would be foolish to seek help and support from one who can't help and can't support his/her own self.

It's quiet ironic that God is the closest self existing Being to our existence, the parable of the proximity of God to us is "closer than the jugular vein",yet people forget about this closeness of God to us and become content of the abstract idea of God; But really God is the closest One and I believe all the magic begins when one fully realizes this (I think 'mutaqqeen' means this state)

God is not companion but also a force that drive everything in the nature...

its lovely to talk with him, but he did not answer ...
its lovely to spend time with him , but he did not visible
its lovely to fight with him too, but he did not replied to the fight..
its lovely to share feelings with him, but we are not sure , he really care about feelings or no...
its lovely to listen him... what he wanted to tell us... but our ears have not that frequency...

only silence ,silence and silence everytime....

yes i /we / everybody need a partner who can walk along with us in this painful shit life... either a loving mother or a loving wife...

God is not a partner he owned us... he is master , and infront of him we are nothing , we are like small filthy insects ...

What's wrong with the silence ? turn down the noise (of life) and listen to the silence. I think that's true "prayer"
The rest of what you said is weak, what happens when God takes your loving wife or mother from you ? Will you cry like a baby because there is no one to walk with you in your painful "shit" life ? It's a pathetic view, but God is the closest One. Why not seek God?

                Peace Cerberus.
You and me should head to the mountain ,away from all the hassle and noise and people and...

On second thought each should head towards a different mountain so you can be totally alone ( Well just you and The GOD).
Brother, I understand where you are coming from - Even though you may be heading towards solitude ( You know towards that mountain on your own!)-.

Happy meditation. I shall be heading towards the other mountain.

                GOD bless you.
                Peace.

brother , if you did not understand what i actually said then its not my fault...

the very own creator is telling you everybody want to live in communites even animals...

why did a mother is in life? wife ? kids children? grandchildren? brothers sisters uncles aunty ...
i m talking about physical world not a spirtual world...

i want to add , when God take my mother/wife/kids from me same thing happen with me , nobody is immortal , i know this.. but i also know this alone life is not good...

its six years i m alone , first four years i was busy in studies and job.. didnt realise it much,, from last two years i m feeling like i m in a prison... God was with me before he is with me right now... he will b with me wherever i will go... but this is not what i m on about...

in this journey God cannot b a partner ... he is the master of the journey...

my view is pathetic only if you look it literally... how will you feel if i put you in prison for lifetime ... then ask you to spend your rest of the life with your "loving God"... then i will see how you differentiate between material and immaterial...

we are based on material our wishes are materialistic... our reality is materialistic... our rewards are materialistic....

thats why we are unable to percieved immaterial/spirtuality....

6 months ago, I married a man on the condition that he would convert to Islam. He agreed.
Today he confessed that he is not able to accept Islam, and he says that I may either accept him as a non Muslim or leave. He says he believes in one god, but he also believes in rebirth, and that the dead guide and watch over the living from a separate plane of existence.

He asks why we can't be together despite being a good person. We both love each other very much, and I don't know what to do. Please tell me any insights you may have.

It is only human for two people to share a spiritual path together in love.
It is this reason that many people post on this forum - otherwise, we would just talk to themselves - we have a need to debate and discuss and see how others are achieving their goals.

You are in a very difficult position but you just need to listen to yourself and what you need and discuss this also with your partner.

I married when I did not believe. I used to do my own meditation etc and found that for two people living under one roof things could sometimes conflict for want of sharing moments.
What better moment to share then to share a spiritual journey?
The spiritual journey can be similar to all the posters who come on here and post something to get some feedback. ie it does not have to be spiritual at the beginning but about thinking and talking about things.

Imagine if your partner eats pork or does other things which are not necessarily against you faith but against what you think or believe?
                      What would you do then?
I am talking about core basics here - like a man who womanizes or goes off and travels on his own - examples I have seen.

Slowly in time, my wife started to be curious and read the Quran and felt like she should find out about this media-tainted "extremist" ideology I was so into.
She also slowly found it consoling her and now we share the path together maybe in slightly different ways but we discuss all aspects.

When my non-muslim relatives visit my house (and they are very nice) they willingly try not to eat pork in front of me (even in their own houses) - they do drink and this is fine for me - they are not alcoholics so I have no problems - but I could see how living with my relatives could cause difficult situations in my personal life.

I wish you the best of luck.

All I can say is meditation or Salat to God and communication with you partner should help.

                      Salam
                      Ed
