      Salaam,

No, I do not believe there are prophets with books. I think there are those who transcend the barriers that seperate us from our true selves, who learn to comprehend things for what they truly are, and show to others these decrees of the truth. Will there be other nabiyeen, sure, I believe so.

        Salaam Joe,

        Thanks for your reply.

You distinguish between nabbiy and prophet. I'd like to know if profethood is the equivalent of nubuwwa?

Does nabbiy is who is given profethood ?

How can we differentiate between "nabbiy+book" and only "nabbiy" in the light of the reading?

What are your quranic arguments when you say that this reading is the last book?

This is not clear in my mind.

        Thanks

          Peace be upon you ,

I agree with Joe. I do not take the level of Nabi(prophet) to be one who is given a PHYSICAL BOOK. I take it as one who reaches a certain level where inuition from the God comes directly. Therefore such a one can write the message from the God with the pen, it would not be he who writes, but the God "writes". These books do not descend from clouds, they are written.

(8013-15) In honoured written pages/sheets, raised, cleansed, By scribes'/writers' hands.

In order to reach the level of NAbi, one must be appreciative, if you are not appreciative you are SEALED OUT of this high level, therefore the one who is appreciative(muhammad) is the SEAL of the Nabi(prophethood).

We have been taught that this term NABI applies to some superhuman people a long time ago, that is just not consistent as the Gods system claims to be. Why would they all be from a long time ago and all from Middle East?

Nothing is new under the sun, we are only discovering that which is already with us. When someone UNCOVERS new information, that is divine wisdom being intuited by that person, and the only way that got to that understanding was from APPRECIATION of that particular subject. Until they gained an interest, or APPRECIATION of that subject, they did not have the internal fortitude to study it in detail as it should be studied.

Marie, i will try to address some of the questions you posed to Joe, although I think He and I agree, he can speak for himself.

You distinguish between nabbiy and prophet. I'd like to know if profethood is the equivalent of nubuwwa?

They are the same to me, just one in English and one in Arabic.

Does nabbiy is who is given profethood ?

Yes, one who is given it because they EARNED it, not one who is randomly chosen or who is the God's "favorite".

How can we differentiate between "nabbiy+book" and only "nabbiy" in the light of the reading?

I am not sure I understood the question, but when itis said that the nabi/prophets recieve the book, it means they recieve the CONSCIOUSNES of LIFE(the living book we are all part of). Most people walk around like living dead, unconscious to the schemes of shayteen that go on constantly. When one becomes aware and appreciative(muhammad), your consciousness grows. This is what the DIVINE ENERGY (ruh ul qudus) does for us. Yes, we have little knowledge of the Ruh becuase we are created weak, so our goal is to get more knowledge, and the ruh (energy) will grow in us which is our consciousness. We take this lesson from Isa, son of Mariam, who was assisted with the DIVINE ENERGY(consciousness).

What are your quranic arguments when you say that this reading is the last book?

There is no argument for that. The God tells us that all people claim that thier messenger is the last messenger, we can deduce that since most people combine the two (messenger and prophet) that the ASSUME there wil be no prophets either, and since they ASSUME that prophets somehow have books fall out the sky, that there will be no more books. The truth is that the God does not send down PHYSICAL Books, he sends down the TRUTH to the hearts of mankind who DESERVE it, and the more appreciative one is by thier actions, the more they recieve of divine inpiration and consciousness. From time to time people write the TRUTH in the form of a book, and soon after, people idolize these books as idols next to the God.

What we seek is TRUTH,and it just happens that a righteous man who achieved the level of NABI/PROPHET either wrote or had written this reading(quran) that we can use as a guide, it is not the only one, but as it claims for itself and is being veified each day, it is one of the greatest.

(7435) That it truly is one (of) the greatest

            Peace Kyle,

Thanks for your understanding. If the reading is clear and fully detailed for our guidance and spiritual growth, do we need other books and other prophets?

I speak only about those who have the possibility to read/study this reading/quran.

            Thanks

Salaam Marie, Joe, Kyle and All

One cannot be a Nabi without a Revelation (=Wahey)! So a Nabi has to come with words from Allah, words that no creature can come with the same.

Nobody said that it has to be a physical book. The Wahey are words that are spoken, acted upon, spread and memorized, can be written too, of course! In any case, you have to prove to others that those words are God's, words that cannot be imitated.

Yes, one who is given it because they EARNED it, not one who is randomly chosen or who is the God's "favorite".

Prophets (=Anbiyaa) and Rusul (=Messengers) were chosen because Allah knows that they deserved it.

How can we differentiate between "nabbiy+book" and only "nabbiy" in the light of the reading?
I second that. There can be no Nabi without a revelation that warns and also gives good news for others based on God given orders to this Nabi. A Messenger or/and a Prophet won't bring something from his own and spread it as God's words. The human words can't be compared with Allah's words no matter how exceptional that individual is. The human mind can produce great words but they are in no comparison to Allah's, of course. Anybody here disagrees with that?

The Truth you are talking about is engraved inside our hearts. Messengers and Prophets would remind us of it.

What we seek is TRUTH,and it just happens that a righteous man who achieved the level of NABI/PROPHET either wrote or had written this reading(quran) that we can use as a guide, it is not the only one, but as it claims for itself and is being veified each day, it is one of the greatest.
The people you talk about are not Prophets, they are Al Saliheen. They have all the good qualities but they are not Prophets. But Al Saliheen have their special place too. Didn't Yusuf say in "Complete my life as a Muslim and join me with Al Saliheen." The translators translate the word Al Saliheen as the Righteous, but it is much more than that. Even Prophet Yusuf wished to join Al Saliheen. They are the good people but they haven't recieved the Wahey from Allah. Divine inpiration and consciousness is not a Wahey. We call it Firaasah in Arabic. It is usually found in the most faithful. As the Hadeeth of Muhammad (P&PBUH) goes

Sorry, I cannot change your vote.
For you, there would be other prophets with other books.

Just for clarification, I don't speak about other messengers without new divine book.
