    Salaam to all,
This is very interesting for me... I had an NDE when I was 5 years old. I was involved in an automobile accident. It was my fascination with crossing the street that got me into trouble. I remember it clearly, the emotions and physical sensations. The only way I can describe it in my case was a feeling of being wrapped up in the clouds. Then I heard a woman's voice that was calling my name over and over again and it made sad and I felt compelled to go to her even though I didn't want to. Turns out, it was my mother's voice and I guess my time hadn't come. Each time I go under general anaesthesia and the nurses/doctor call my name to wake me, I feel exactly the same way... a reluctance to come back from that peaceful dreamless state.

    Regards,
    Janet

Thank you so much for sharing your story Janet. The cloud reminds of nurses reporting of seeing mists in the room after someone dies in it.

I read once a book about near death experiences and it concluded that everyone sees what his/her culture symbolism and preconcepts made them see. It was just a reflect of group and individual conceptions. Christians used to see Mary and muslims Muhammad and so on... I wish this one is different )

The Quran says we will stay the way we are even after death. I mean our views about the world and belief won't fully change. That's how we will be presented on the day of judgement. And so far what I have gathered from reading some of the holybooks is that they say the same things and all of them seem to point towards just one God no matter what the traditional people believe. What's funny is that when atheists pressurize the believers they end up somehow confessing that God is panentheistic which actually is the right description of him.

Who would not wish to remain unattached to this world permanently?

I am longing towards the day I die and reach salvation, but right now it seems I still have things I must do.

      Be well
      Amenuel

those who fear their lord, and realise there is a barrier which, once we are passed, there is no going back, unless god so wills.

death is a level of game which is locked by game developer(God) so it must be amazing but people usually afraid.. reason is ego of self ...

but its better to stay lovked its also Good for human nature if human being already know the age of death life was not cheerful like we live , even everybody knows already one day we will get expire...

God created death and life to test among us.. so he created things with best formula , so its best to keep that level lock ,,

but again the death is compare as sleep so usually when i sleep in this world that is actually best part of my day, my body feel relax my soul/spirit feel relax. my character feel comfortable , and my conscience feel so happy becoz without tiring it visits through galaxies like i m travelling with the speed of light , i see and meet people who i like , how beautiful the life of sleep is actually, and when we want to awake up we usually get pissed and even after alarm we want to sleep more...

i still dnt understand for a beleiver death is a good news infact , his level is getting advance and hereafter life of beleiver is confirm far better than this worldy life

        peace

peace, i think this is not a good comparison, as god did not create all this in vain, and computer games, are, mostly vanity.

EDIT i.e you are comparing God to a game developer.. you know what game developers, for the most part are like.. right?

first of all i did not compare God with anything ..... as i know there is nothing like God 112(4)

i comapre this life as game... in which we all are playing our character... and this game is created by God...

somewhere in quran God is saying this life is like a game or play... in which we get stuck like we will b here for ever ...

              peace

let me recall the verse i will post it afterwards ...

5720 Know that this worldly life is no more than play and amusement, and boasting among you, and an increase in wealth and children. It is like plants that are supplied by an abundant rain, which appear pleasing to those who do not appreciate. But then they dry up and turn yellow, and become useless hay. In the Hereafter there is severe retribution, and forgiveness from God and approval. This worldly life is no more than a deceiving enjoyment.

peace thats what i was talking about

                  Peace reel,

Dr. Raymond Moody is one of my favorite NDE authors )

If you liked his book, you will love the following AMAZING NDE of Bettie Eadie

                  http//www.universe-people.com/english/svetelna_knihovna/htm/en/en_kniha_embraced_by_the_light.htm

Melvin Morse MD writes in the Foreword

"I learned more about near-death experiences from reading Embraced by the Light than from any other experience in my life, including ten years of studying near-death experiences and interviewing children and adults who have survived clinical death"

You are a spiritual being in a temporary 3rd density physical body in an illusion of separateness from the Source.

When you are alive, your physical body is of 3rd density (space/time existence) but your soul is of 6th density and is multidimensional and extends far from your body in different dimensions (time/space). You can call it the information cloud or the Higher Self. The physical body has the veil of forgetfulness (you don't remember the conversation between you and rabb - 7172) but the Higher Self remembers everything. Your beliefs during your 3rd density existence are shaped and formed due to your experiences in this 3rd density existence.

When you die, your awareness shifts into the higher dimensional spirit body and suddenly you remember everything, including all the past lives, and the lessons you have already learned. Thus your "beliefs" might change in that existence (from your amnesia ridden physical body beliefs) because suddenly you are aware of the absolute truth that you are in reality a tiny fragment of the Source and that the Source is one and infinite.

As soon as your actions are 51% or greater service to others (good deeds) in a particular 3rd density cycle you graduate into the 4th density existence after death (you might call it heaven). You keep evolving into higher and higher densities depending on the lessons learned in those densities until eventually you merge back with the Source in the 8th density (return to your lord - 22 and there is no more illusion of separateness.

5660 We have predetermined death for you. Nothing can stop us
5661 From transforming your forms, and establishing you in what you do not know.

You might be interested in Dr. Michael Newton's research on between lives area (BLA) which is hard scientific evidence of past lives and reincarnation (also supported by the quran - 228, 4011, clearly TWO deaths mentioned).

Dr. Michael Newton is one of the world's foremost regression hypnotist, specializing in between lives area (BLA), and he has performed regression hypnosis on around 7,000 people. All of them remembered BLA in great detail and gave almost the same description, even though they came from all different backgrounds, races and religions, including pagans and atheists. This is statistically significant hard scientific evidence (4153).

The only objection that has been raised against regression hypnosis is that the hypnotist can ask suggestive questions instead of open ended questions thereby influencing the memory of the subject. Dr. Newton never uses "do you see this ....." thereby a suggestive question, rather he only asks "what do you see .....". Many cases who recounted their between lives memory were found by him accidentally when he was trying to hypnotize them for something else, thereby completely free from any suggestion bias. The important part is everyone had a positive BLA experience and no one described any unpleasant memory, or a negative experience.

Following is an interview of Dr. Michael Newton (please forward to 0730 minutes)

                    Salaam to all,

Thank you Reel for that interesting analogy of the nurses reportedly seeing mist in the room after someone dies. I find that you've triggered another memory of mine. When my grandmother passed on, I was sitting in the room with her body and I felt that either my vision was a bit blurry due to tiredness or there actually was a misty atmosphere in the room. The funny thing is that it was only present in that room as I recall.

                    Regards,
                    Janet.

I watched a documentary on NDE where it contains an interview with a subject who is

                      • A woman
                      • Blinded since birth
Who experienced "Visual Sight" only and only during her NDE.
She could see "herself" (and other lights) for the first (and only) time during her NDE..

                        Peace,

Out of body experiences have always fascinated me, and from my own experiences, I am certainly curious as to the subject.

While i think that when out of body, things seem/are alot more objective, i think things can easily be assumed, or subjectified, once we are back in this world, hence for the most part i have stayed away from focusing too much on pondering theese experiences. there is certainly alot we do not know, or know very little of. one thing i am 100% sure of though, is that this body is only a container for our soul. and while i am not sure to the extent that we can percieve things that are, lets say 'non-pysical' or 'metaphysical' or whatever, there is definately more to this world which we dont see, due to the veil over us.

                        Peace.
