If you are talking about ruku in context of salat I believe it makes sense that it means kneeling, kneeling shows true humility and renders more sense in context.

    Peace brother!

Arabic word for kneeling is djasijeten and not ruku in surah 4528 we can read You will see every community kneeling. Every community will be called to view their record. Today, you get paid for everything you have done.

So i am not sure about kneeling in prayer,i will have to investigate more

The next question is off topic, but i would like to know what you think about ruqya, i would like to go to a session of ruqya, but i am not sure and what do you think about this kind of medical treatment https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRkb_rlOuSM I do not know what the name is in English and this one is with fire https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=JSt74Xwj9Js

    Peace brother

      peace TGO,

I never realised you referenced my article a lot. In any case, by me saying it doesn't fit I was referring to these points

      From http//mypercept.co.uk/articles/problems-5-salat-Quran.html

Another problem for the author's view arises with the following verse

Guard over the salawat; and the middle salat; and stand/observe dutifully for God.
So if you fear then on foot or riding, then when you are secure then remember God as He has taught you what you did not know.

Does 2239 refer to "the middle salat" or "salawat"? It will be an assumption to choose one over the other, although the flow and structure seems to favour "al salat al wusta" over "salawat" in my view. For an explanation of my view, please see this post.

Further, the Arabic form of the term "al salat al wusta" in 2238 is different to the form "salat al fajr" and "salat al isha" in 2458, and clearly indicates it is a description whilst the latter two are a specific reference, i.e.
salat al fajr ~ salat (of) fajr/dawn
      salat al 3sha ~ salat (of) 3sha/evening
al salat al wusta ~ the wusta/balanced salat
Many of those who advocate a middle salat incorrectly refer to it as "salat al wusta" as if to imply it occurs in the same form as "salat al fajr"/"salat al isha" in Quran.

Lastly, the word "wusta" is superlative in 2238, meaning of the highest quality/degree, hence the more apt translation of "most balanced/equitable/just/excellent". Note that a superlative requires a comparison in context, which could explain the prior mentioned "salawat", see note.
Thus, to those who argue for it meaning "middle" it more correctly would have to mean "most middle" - thus an explanation would be required to make sense of the difference between "middle" and "most middle", if one can be found.

A more accurate translation of 1779 is shown below
Establish the salat at the setting of the sun to the darkness of the night; and the reading (of) dawn; indeed, the reading (of) dawn is witnessed.
And from the night so remain awake with it additionally for yourself, perhaps your Lord will raise you (to) a status praiseworthy.

The "with it" (Arabic bi hi) refers to a preceding masculine noun, and thus can ONLY refer to "reading" (Arabic quran). Note that "salat" is a feminine noun. Thus, the idea of "the tahajjud prayer" is not possible unless one considers it as a reading (also see 7320).

Your view and my view is similar.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

I would think that there are many ways in Classical Arabic to convey kneeling. Allah's Words are not limited.

Also honestly in your salat when you go from bowing to prostrating (visualize this) you kneel right before your face touches the ground. I am sure you're not just falling directly on your face brickwall

However go ahead and seek further understanding from Allah and His Book directly Self-investigation is key brother do not ever take the possibility of anyone's words being wrong for granted.
        yes

Haha you were right it is waaay off-topic. I am not sure homeopathic medicine has had mixed reviews. Although I personally have met a person that claimed that same treatment in the first video did wonders for his back. Are you suffering from back pain? Is it spinal stenosis?
Usually for these treatments you have to frequent the same specialist for several appointments in order to have longer periods of relief and in the end I believe the pain or discomfort may eventually reoccur. These treatments are short term fixes for long-term ailments.
In the end it is up to you.
You might feel like you need a temporary relief and if you can afford a couple of sessions and it is unavoidable go right ahead.

Personally I would not do the fire one, it did not look too professional, it seemed painful and that some things could go wrong.
If you are seriously considering this treatment make sure the specialist has good reviews and knows what they are doing.

        Peace

Selam brother, i really like your picture, i laughed really good LOL

Tahajud is i think the wusta prayer, but i do not understand what you think wusta is. Night to day and day to night, i do not understand, when this is and how you come to this conclusion.

Salam brother. I'm not an arabic speaker. My conclusion is based on many readings of the translated quran, especially word by word. It did not come automatically, it was a realisation while I was contemplating on something. The key was 'wusta' is a time period that one needs to be mindful of. Reference to wusta as Asar and tahajjud does not really gel in my mind due to the long period available for both. Then the realisation just came in, what if it is the short period between night to day and day to night, a period of around 15 minutes? Then it gels with surah 'Jumaat', where when the prayer time comes you leave everything behind to fulfill the solat. Thats my conclusion. As for tahajjud it is optional for those who seek more thus it does not seem to gel with the period where one needs to be mindful of.

2 salat is also consistent with the way humans have always revered god(s)/deities in history. It has always been once in the morning and once in the evening, primarily due to 'light to dark' and 'dark to light', paired as mentioned in the Q. This conclusion is also consistent with Q as Allah's system has remained unchanged.

          peace.

Selam brother, why i think wusta is the tahajud prayer is, we have a time range for fajr and Isha prayer, but not for wusta. So my logic says this is at night. I am not sure about Juma, i did not investigate it, i will look in that soon. I am beginner and i do not know much, i am learning, so i appreciate every comment about salat.

Yes i kneel first and then prostration, but i do not stay on my knees. Yes i will search more about this.

As I read it is not only for back, every point is for something else, my head behind my ears gets swollen and i have pimples on my head where hair is, and doctor said it is dangerous, but they do not say what is is. They give me antibiotic for 2 months and after that it comes back, sometimes i have pain and my head is swollen. The pimples have some fluid in them, but it is not fat, more like water. So I pray to Allah to cure me and i take garlic as antibiotic, that helps too. Maybe ruqya will help, you never know, i have read such thinks can come from jinn.

I think that if it is pimples you should avoid the ruqya, you need a treatment that specifically targets the root cause of your reoccurring break outs. I doubt ruqya treatment/procedure will have any lasting impactful effect on treating your scalp pimples.

You should research natural or herbal treatments for scalp pimples. Google EFFECTIVE treatments for scalp pimples or treatments for pimples on the head.

You may be referring to your lymph nodes being swollen, possible sign of body trying to fight off an infection.

I recommend doing your own research, e.g. the links above.

Getting plenty of different fruits/veg in your diet is important. They are full of natural pathogen fighters.

If it was me, I'd consider using oral probiotic supplement, which are nature's antibiotics, and topical applications iodine based shampoo/rinse, and/or colloidal silver gel/ointment.

Thank you for advice wakas and hp tech, I do think i have to tell you a story about jinn, because they are real and as Muslims we should protect our self and believe that only Allah can protect you from evil, i know this is off topic, but because you mention superstition i have to tell you this story

lymph nodes swollen up i have read can be by jinn, that is what i read and i am not superstition, i woke up 7 years ago at night and i was looking at myself and had no control of my body. I was looking at myself from the corner of the room. I did feel my body walk and i felt very strong, not human strong, something like i could separate somebody arms from his body. So i walked to the window and opened the window, so i heard a voice saying to me, jump, someway i still had some control of my body and i said no. Then that thing what was in me started screaming. It was very angry that i had my own will and did not wanted to listen. At that time i was sleeping in a house full of relatives and nobody was brave enough to come to me except my mother and when she hugged me, i came back in my body. I was scared of sleeping alone and as a 25 year old man i went and slept between my parents. So my mother went to a women with my shirt, to help me and to not be scared, because i was very scared and did not even wanted to sleep, being scared that i could wake up and not be me. Now i read such people who need stuff from you to cure you can do a lot of harm to you. Because of this and what i have done the following years with my life, i became Muslim, so i believe such things happen and Allah lets it happen. You can believe it or not, but i am not a liar and such things are present. I come from a land where many blood is spilled and where people do magic and talk with jinns. That is why i think i will go to ruqya, because they pray from Quran and i have seen strange things, you can see that on youtube. Several years after that i became a very bad man, most men would get scared if i told them what i have done, but one and half year ago i got 3 dreams in a row and i changed my life. I even located to the country where i was born and i started with reading Quran and put my faith in Allahs hands. I stopped seeing women and for more that one year i did not do any haram, i do not drink, party and all the stuff i did before. I became Muslim.
3 weeks ago i wanted to go to sleep and i almost fell a sleep, when my mother came in my room at 3 o'clock at night, so i said wassup mother, she said, this bread really works on my nerves and went out of my room. I thought this can not be my mother, this is bad, then i felt paralyzed and could not move, i felt hands at my neck and something was chocking me, i could not see anyone, and i was at the point of dying. I was not scared, the only what i am scared of is Allah, i know most people say, i am not scared, but they are in some kind of way scared. I really was not scared of dying, and i said Allahu Ekber, i was ready to die, and i said it twice and that thing was gone. One of the dreams i had one and half year ago, i felt a presence next to me, something like a father, better than my father, he said to me search keys and showed me keys, the keys are not keys for opening a door, no it was for changing car tires, i think 7 car wrenches. It was a command and i did not even looked who was next to me, it was not necessary. And believe me i am not the type that follows orders, even my father when he says something i may or may not listen to him, but this was different. I said yes i will search the keys and from that day i search keys and when this jinn wanted to kill me was just a test from Allah, to see if i get it. And i only said Allahu Ekber and it was gone and i went to sleep as if it did not happen, i was not scared and i felt 2 minutes later in a deep sleep. You do not have to believe me, but there are things that happen and sometimes, you must learn and live life in a haram way to get real guidance. It happened to me. Feeling this presence beside me and giving me a command, it is the best thing what happened to me and i know Allah is looking at me and he sees me how i work to get a better man and a real Muslim. And I know some people did not had much experience in life, but i did, from a young age i have seen things that most people only see in movies. And most people can never understand such things, they grew up protected by their fathers and mothers, so the real truth and horrors in life they only can see in a movie, but for some people it is reality. I pray to Allah to protect me and he protects me. Also the commandment i got and why i already knew who that was,is because I think as a child i was in a coma for 3 months and i came back.I might have a connection that i do not remember. I tested my iq and it is above 120. That is in most cases not so high with people who were so long in coma. I do think that we can not see Allah, but we can feel Him and i believe i have felt that and I think i knew Him from the day when i was a child and in coma. It might sound crazy, but such presence not many people have felt, so i really do not care, i feel guided.

I am not sure about what kind of problem i have with my health, but i ask Allah to cure me, and the swollen parts are not so swollen anymore, still i am thinking of going to ruqya, it is healing with Quran. About vitamins you are probably right wakas, for the last month i did not eat many fruits and when i ate fruit a lot, i had no problems. These scalp bumps i am not sure about, because it is not itchy and i think it is more likely what wakas says some kind of infection. I will research what it might be, still i think it can be from jinn, because this woman who has my t shirt might have done something and maybe the jinn are attacking my health. One of the things described as health issue done by by jinns to humans is this what i have, and doctors say it is dangerous, but will not tell me what it is. I appreciate you have taken time to send me links, thanks. And i will look into it. Peace

Has your doctor given you no treatment options? ??? -\

We are no friends, and i would like you to stop commenting to my posts, as i said some people just sit at their pc and think they know it all, trying to act wise, but i clearly showed you many times in these few days that you are not a match to me. I expected a comment from you, because you wait for a story like this to say stupid things. But when you have to answer questions in hadith section, you do not answer them. Also i noticed that you do not have much knowledge about Quran, so i do not think you are a Muslim, i think you come to this forum to spread nonsense. Not one post from you is something i would say what a smart person, all non sense. As Hp tech said in this post to you, stop talking to me, i will ignore you from now.

Yes antibiotics, and i had to take them 2 months long and that has happened 2 times, i am trying to use a lot of garlic and i will eat more fruit and honey.

we have a time range for fajr and Isha prayer,

Salam brother. The time range for fajr and isha is wusta. A short period where we need to be mindful of, hence 'leave everything behind when we encounter this time period to do the solat' (this is stated in surah jumaat). Maghrib is direction, Zuhr is a time to rest during noon especially under a hot sun, asr is time mentioned in surah al-Asr - where time waits for no man and we are losing time if we procastinate. Peace.

Selam brother, i have to read surah jumaa and surah al asr again and think about this what you say, it is still not clear to me. About Maghrib you say it is a direction, how did you come to this conclusion? I have seen explanations from arabs who claim it means the setting of the sun. Peace

                                        Surah 2>238

Pickthall Be guardians of your prayers, and of the midmost prayer, and stand up with devotion to Allah.
Asad BE EVER mindful of prayers, and of praying in the most excellent way; 227 and stand before God in devout obedience.
Malik Guard your Salah (obligatory regular prayers) especially the middle Salah and stand up with true devotion to Allah.
Yusuf Ali Guard strictly your (habit of) prayers especially the middle prayer and stand before Allah in a devout (frame of mind). 271
Transliteration Hafithoo AAala alssalawati waalssalati alwusta waqoomoo lillahi qaniteena

227 Lit., "the midmost prayer". It is generally assumed that this refers to the mid-afternoon ('asr) prayer, although some authorities believe that it denotes the prayer at dawn (fajr). Muhammad 'Abduh, however, advances the view that it may mean "the noblest kind of prayer - that is, a prayer from the fullness of the heart, with the whole mind turned towards God, inspired by awe of Him, and reflecting upon His word" (Manar II, 43. - In accordance with the system prevailing throughout the Qur'an, any lengthy section dealing with social laws is almost invariably followed by a call to God-consciousness and since God-consciousness comes most fully to its own in prayer, this and the next verse are interpolated here between injunctions relating to marital life and divorce.

271 The Middle Prayer Salutul-wusta may be translated "the best or the most excellent prayer." Authorities differ as to the exact meaning of this phrase. The weight of authorities seems to be in favour of interpreting this as the 'Asr prayer in the middle of the afternoon. This is apt to be most neglected, and yet this is the most necessary, to remind us of God in the midst of our worldly affairs. There is special Sura, entitled 'Asr, of which the mystic meaning is appropriately dealt with under that Sura.

Is wusta best or middle, that is the question. I think it means both. So best is when you get up at night and pray as in surah 17>79 and that is also the middle prayer.

We may differ in opinion but Im not saying you are wrong or Im right.

Because Arabic is not my language, I rely on translation. After reading your post, another enlightenedment came but it does not change my position only it widens my understanding.

                                          Sahih International17-78
Establish prayer at the decline of the sun until the darkness of the night and the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed.
                                          Sahih International17-79
And from the night, pray with it as additional (nfilatan) for you; it is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station.

My understanding, the tahajjud/night prayer is additional.
Wusta is a reference to a solat that occurs in the period within (1) sunrise and (2) sunset. Due to short period, one needs discipline to abide by it.

There are other solat that people do (sectarians, people of the book other than quran but not obligatory as per Quran's instruction).

                                          I summarise

                                          1. Obligatory solat specifically mentioned in the Quran Fajar and Isyak the timing is wusta between sunrise and sunset.
                                          2. Additional solat to raise oneself higher - tahajjud - recommended practice but not obligatory.
                                          3. Other solat (could be practised by people of the book other than quran) not obligatory.

Other meaning of solat apart from praying - not discuss here.

                                          Peace.
