I know a lot of people here on this forum reject the 2nd example as a true narration of history, but for the sake of discussion, please give me your honest answer. Thank you.

Which sin is greater, when Noah responded back to God, doubting God's promise in regards to saving his family

1145 "My Lord, my son is from my family, and your promise is the truth, and you are the wisest of all judges."

1140"Carry in it a pair from each kind, and your family; execpt those against whom the word has been issued; and whoever has believed."

        or...

When Lot was given wine by his daughters and was drunk which lead to incest...

        Genesis
31 And the firstborn said to the younger, ?Our father is old, and there is not a man on earth to come in to us after the manner of all the earth. 32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve offspring from our father.?

        Which one?

Doubt is a part of the human experience. We shouldn't believe blindly. So if we're accepting that both events actually happened, then I would say Lot's sin is greater (although it doesn't say in the verses you provided that Lot committed incest, it just says his daughters were plotting against him).

        Peace.

Thank you comrox for your answer, that was my mistake, to add more context to the verses I listed above...

35 So they made their father drink wine that night also, and the younger arose and lay with him; and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose. 36 Thus both the daughters of Lot were with child by their father.

It is hard to judge something when you just find it unbelievble, which is what happen i my case with the bilbical lut's story. I do not believe it. Sounds totally invented.

              Salaam

              Peace Huruf,

Why would you find it to be unbelievable? The idea that a prophet was involved in such an act? Incest is still currently occurring till this day. I would find Moses miracle parting the sea unbelievable, but I have faith in it that it occurred.

And whose sin would it be?

And I can see no sign of any parting of a sea in Musa. Onlly in Hollywood films.

No I didn't answer first come on. Lol

Also I don't believe in miracles yeah the bible has lots if stories if men parting water's with holy objects like prophet Elijah walking with prophet elias. Read about them they are bad a$$. It's always a science or the event could not exist. Particules and atoms moving do to some chemical reaction or some physics like the moving statues or Bobbleheads.

These sins happen and are really believeable because remember Allah's promise to prophet Abraham? Some of the quranic knowledge was simply not written but known like don't lie with your father something in comminsense tells you not to.

I'll post something too but all miracles are science like Solomon's carpet... Hang glider. It used the wind he rode the wind. It was fabric that caught air to ride the wind it's speed probably checks out two like a plane ride compared to a bike ride

miracles are advance form of scienctifc laws and controlling on these laws , most probably the laws that cannot applied or acquire from this dimenshn of universe in which we are living.

miracle is something impossible for human mind to understand the science behind it,

growing oof grass, sunlight, moon, fruits, animals , woods, all are miracles /marvels of God for this dimenshn .but for us its normal way of natural phenoomenon so we dnt pay heed.these are not less than miracles, atleast no human or jinn can made anything from them out of nothing. is there is any god with God

4312 And He is the One who has created all the pairs, and He made for
you of the ships and the livestock that which you can ride.
4313 So that you may settle on their backs; then recall the blessing of
your Lord once you have settled on them, and say ?Glory to the
One who has committed this for us, and we could not have done
                          so by ourselves.?
4314 ?And we will ultimately return to our Lord.?

                          peace

Salam, I don't see how Nuh sinned by asking Allah about why his son wasn't saved. He didn't ask in an angry way, but in a confused/sad type of way. He probably believed that his son was a believer this whole time.

                                Peace Spodacus,

You are absolutely right, he did not ask in an angry way. Would you consider disbelieving in a direct promise of God to be sinful? If so, then that is what happened and Noah did sin. This is why Noah recognized his fault and sought forgiveness, and stated...

1147 He said, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from asking You what I do not have knowledge of. And if You do not forgive me and have mercy on me, I will be of the losers!"

Salam, yes in light of 1147 there is evidence that Nuh did indeed commit an error in asking Allah about the son.

                                    Peace Everyone,

I want to change my stance due to a mistake I made. When Huruf stated "And whose sin would it be?" this made me re-evaluate the situation. If we look at the verse where it states...

"35 So they made their father drink wine that night also, and the younger arose and lay with him; and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose. 36 Thus both the daughters of Lot were with child by their father."

Due to Lot's intoxication, he was not aware. Therefore, his intentions was not to commit incest which leads to no "sin" on his part.

Sin lead lut to that evil path.
Things like that don't just happen to good people being good. ALLAH is his protector what could lut have done to stop ALLAH from protecting him?
                                      Maybe he simply forgot ALLAH.
But you don't just get raped for no reason especially by someone he's interacted with as much as his own daughter.
I think watching all those animal discovery channel out had some part in this equation. ALLAH allowed him to fall into sin because he was deserving the lost of his way.

Imagine all the unwanted sinners finally killed off and washed away from the surface of the earth....
Then the guy loses the fruit of this wonderful blessing.... He sleeps with his daughter and created a retard.
A hated birth father and daughter, kid must be destroyed and burned in hell.
Born an abomination. And now we have these kids sons killing and persecuting he righteous angry because he was born knowing God hated him and his birth.

                                      .....
I think out did the worst sin look at the lashing fruit of that deed.
