It is illogical for one to say women are not allowed in mosques, when Quran is allegedly talking about men/women being together in mosques. That is a problem for you/others to resolve.As per your logic ,in your article ,masajid cannot by mosques for the following reasons
If taken , as mosques then it implies like ordering to stop sex in mosque
only point that goes with your logic is , that in mosques women are allowed. since the verse is talking about sex between husband and wife even thinking about having sex in mosques is ruled out .moreover ,as per the verse ,there was no open sex even before the Islam .so your logic comprehensively failed .in other words you comprehensively failed to prove that masajid cannot be equal to mosque as per this verse .so the only option left is masajid =mosqueAlso the meaning of "time of acknowledgement" would fit like this in 2187, when one is undergoing abstinence (from sunrise to sunset) they are in a "time of acknowledgement" (from sunrise to sunset) so no sex during this time period. Simple.
let me take the verse
Verse 2.187
It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives . They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, have relations with them and seek that which Allah has decreed for you. And eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread . Then complete the fast until the sunset. And do not have relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques. These are the limits Allah, so do not approach them. Thus does Allah make clear His ordinances to the people that they may become righteous.So the verse is talking about the limitations regarding fast
it is clearly mention that during the day time or while in fast sex is prohibited ......you done have any problem with this view point (i hope)
this include even the salah/(or the things you have as per you logic) during the fast which is done in home or in masajid which is immaterialNow let me take the phrase in contention
And do not have relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques.it is clear like crystal from this translation that sex is prohibited at two level
1.during fast

Also the meaning of "time of acknowledgement" would fit like this in 2187, when one is undergoing abstinence (from sunrise to sunset) they are in a "time of acknowledgement" (from sunrise to sunset) so no sex during this time period1.I don't know from where "when one undergoing" pops in ,in your translation since there is no Arabic equivalent t in the verse
2.how you come to the conclusion that abstinence is from sun rise to sun set
3.as well as how your "time of acknowledgement" last from sun rise to sun set
4.again it is either confusing or meaning less .can you pl elaborate your "time of acknowledgement" .in other words just call a spade a spade
