        God is wrong?
or i am wrong in my understanding?

it seems you have made your own self your object of worship, and i see you trangressing clearly gods clear commandments.

whos in control of your body? or do you just want a scapegoat to blame your sin on? rather it is our ego!

what is a body but flesh and bones? tell me, can someone in a coma do any of the things you just mentioned?

I think what he meant is that when we don't listen to our mind (the tool that makes us recognize good and bad) we give into desires (animal instinct). It is about feeding bad substance to the body by overriding the mind's moral scream which pretty much is " this is not right".
        Example
Jack I hit the guy yesterday.
Alex But you know this is bad?
Jack Yeah I know that, but bullying enhances my reputation. I have got so many minions because of it.
Alex This is a bad way to get reputation.
Jack Hell with your do's and don'ts. You analyze too much.
Alex But shouldn't we do things by analyzing whether they are good or bad? Think about all sorts of consequences associated with our actions.
Jack No, sometimes you have to do things to make other people admire you. If you keep wondering about good and bad you will end up losing a lot in life. Do what the people around you find acceptable.

Jack takes his bullying behavior to the next level by killing someone. He is sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Reporters Do you have anything to say about the court verdict?
Jack Deep down inside I knew I was wrong. I just didn't want to listen to myself because of the long list of followers I made by bullying. They respected me. They feared me. They never said that I was wrong. But its too late. I wish I could go back to my past and listen to myself just once.

Peace, such excuses wont get you very far in Gods court of law either.. i fail to see any valid point, apart from humans like something to blame things on, and make excuses for their behaviour, neither of which is related to the body, rather it is our mind, our self control or lack thereof.

Alhamdullilah, i came accross this verse today, i thought it might be of some relevance..

              917-9

and the soul, and he who equated it. and he did inspire it, its carelessness, and its righteousness. Certainly he has succeeded who purifies it.

most translators translate this 'fujur' as evil, but looking into the root, which carries the meaning of 'gushing forth, or overflowing, abundance etc.' and also the context, as it is often mentioned as what it seems is opposite to taqwa, i think carelessness is prehaps more suitable.. though i may be wrong.

              so still somehwat relevant. alhamdullilah

We covered balance, and complimentary aspects earlier.
Is that what you are referring to in your post i.e., balance?

                Peace imrankhawaja

We agree to an extent, the key word is balance, the creation at this level is
composed of opposites or complimentary aspects which in turn produces the
reality that we experience. Outside of this life there is Jannah which is positive
or all good/bliss and jahanam which is negative and the absent of good.
In this life the two co-exist. To answer the question "why does evil exist?"
It exists because we live in a in a reality composed of the two extremes!

Feel free to let me know what I am missing.

                  Peace Adem,

                  Salaam !

A question for the learned Quranists in particular

                  Why does evil exist ?

Reel aptly answered you, it exists because of some of those behind your avatar! (not all).
You might wanna google and read the Hidden Hand interview

Certain higher dimensional entities (4th and 5th density), in service to the Infinite Creator, volunteered to introduce the negative polarity to 3rd density humans through service to self, thereby providing a negative choice in accordance with the law of free will, in order to act as a catalyst for their (humans) learning and spiritual progress.

This was a tremendous sacrifice on their part, all in service to the Infinite Creator, because they will face tremendous suffering in their future existence as a karmic repercussion of their actions, and they still knowingly volunteered.

This is the reason evil exists, to act as a catalyst for learning and spiritual progress for 3rd density humans.

I would like to clarify that I am not a Quranist though! The quran itself promotes allah alone (770, 1746, 3945, 4012, 4084, 604) and that the truth is in the horizons and within ourselves also and not just in the quran (4153).

                  Peace

That's the point. We humans overlook our own thought on good and bad just to get accepted by friends and other people. Its our way to get satisfaction. When it ends up hurting us we actually admit or realize we were wrong. Of course, some won't. I have been observing my cats and learning a lot about savagery which pretty much is also part of the human world. Earlier you mentioned ego. That is one of the examples. My older cat avoided us for almost 5 months because of the other kitty we brought home. And now both have problem with sharing the same spot for sleeping because of ego.

Cats (just like any other species with felis genus) are loyal / identifying themselves with territory.
Thus sharing the same spot is a big problem for them, especially if both of them are male.
Even when you moved out, your cat will still be loyal to your old home (territory)..

While Canis, are more loyal / identifying themselves with object / person.
They're loyal to their master / leader / provider, regardless of the location / territory...

i was just looking the picture from another angle in which there is only two ends of spectrum...

in case of life of beleiver can he/she apply same sepectrum between Good and bad and if he/she does will she go to a middle place in betweeen hell and heaven , thats what most of the muslims believe lol they think there is also a place inbetween hell and paradise and people like mother tresea will b there, lol

and when i ask why not mother tresea will go to heavens if she really very Good in the sight of God they simply said becoz she was not muslim..

its going out of topic what i wanted to ask , is there is any balance of hell and paradise..?

surah al-A`araf commonly interpreted as purgatory or the heights, in most interpretations, hints at some kind of place which is not heaven, but believers go their and are later admitted into paradise, although, i have not looked into it properly, so i cannot say for sure

                            edit al-A`araf is surah 7

Peace imrankhawaja hell has degrees/stages and so does paradise

You will be stratified into three kinds.

Those who deserved bliss will be in bliss.

Those who deserved misery will be in misery.

Then there is the elite of the elite.

I can give my personal opinion about mother Teresa and that is
she was more committed to helping others than I am therefore
if she doesn't go to paradise then I may in big trouble &

I agree surah 7 does indeed speak of a place between the two

lol, another cat owner on-board! Free-minds should have a section for cats D I guess it sheds light on why the members are the way they are https//www.yahoo.com/beauty/6-cat-person-stereotypes-that-are-totally-true-126447730143.html

I began understanding it from the verses 230-33. Before we were savage. Civilization began from Adam because he was able to remember (brain use). And then I began pondering upon do's and don't found in other verses. I realized that when we turn the don'ts into do's we end up in the jungle. At face value, it doesn't seem much. But we are powerful. A tiger might be ferocious, but it does not destroy the earth which we are capable of when we surrender to our ferociousness. Being a human comes with big responsibilities. Good news is that we have been given the power to control our urges by analyzing good and bad. And when we choose the good we become the successors. I began to think pride and ego as more of a thing used by animals. Sure my cat looks cute when he is proud, but at the expense of making the little one ( he has some birth defects) feel bad. The pride shown by a human may have similar effect on others who are less fortunate. That's why, I believe Allah told us to avoid it.

Unfortunately, yes, both turned out to be males. They don't like each other. Personality wise, they are poles apart. The little one has been taught to get used to new places. The adult one is still scared to sit in the car.
