Help Build a Water Well - Earn Deeds For Years!

I am not Mario that I have to collect deed coins.

The Messenger of Allah (&#65018 said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things Sadaqah Jariyah(ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."

Do not accept anything that you have no knowledge of. Surely the hearing, the sight and the mind you are responsible for." 1736

My not for profit company, Solar Funds is starting a water well initiative that will build various types of water wells in Muslim countries around the world depending on the residents' needs. Since we are a solar energy company, our prefered well to build is one that uses solar power to run the pump. We have started a campaign on LaunchGood and need the help of Muslims around the world.

I prefer helping the entire human race instead of just Muslims. And the website of your company is?

I think they should give real proofs/evidences of their works before asking for donation, because this possibly a fraud, indeed.

        peace.

god tells us to avoid suspicion, because it can be sin.
he also tells us to verify things for ourselves.

        (in my limited understanding)

        just a reminder, peace

I don't know what's your problem with me @ Timotheus?

I somehow feel like being your target of criticism.

Just like what you did on this thread. http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9597766.msg390721#msg390721

You said things to me which I don't even understand why you told those things to me, because for me what you were saying to me are irrelevant to my short statements on that thread. I just wrote simple statements but you come to give me quite long advise about other things which I think not suitable to be directed toward my simple statements (or as if I was writing something wrong).

god tells us to avoid suspicion, because it can be sin.
he also tells us to verify things for ourselves.

In my understanding, Allah teaches me to avoid much suspicions (please notice the word "much&quot, and for me, it doesn't mean that I am forbidden from having suspicion at all. If the scams/frauds do not often happen on the internet, then perhaps I do not need to be suspicious on such post above.

Am I wrong if I ask for more proofs/evidences of their works when I don't even know this guy and from where he's actually come from? What I know is that scam often happens on the internet, and I think that being careful is not something wrong.

          Peace.

This is the page referred to in the op https//www.launchgood.com/project/build_a_water_well

I'm not familiar with LaunchGood so am not sure if what happens on places like Kickstarter apply if the project is partially funded at the end of the time allocated? If you are thinking of donating, it's best to read up on LaunchGood and ask the project starter via the methods available on that page before doing so.

              peace waleed,

Firstly, I see little advantage of a solar pump well over a conventional hand pump well. Especially when you can install 10 times as many of the latter for the same price.

Secondly, you never provided full details about your company.

Thirdly, are all aspects of your intention not-for-profit, e.g. solar panel maintenance, future water purification etc?

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

                Hey Guys,

Sorry for the delay in replying, been swamped lately.

                1. LaunchGood is a Muslim run alternate to Kickstarter..

                2. We're in the process of registering the corporation as a not-for-profit.

                3. I have done 2 solar projects before this (very small in size) but they were more personal projects.

                4. The reason we want to use solar is because a) It'll eliminate the need for manually bringing up the water which would be tough for the elders and children of the village and it estimated to be roughly 150 feet deep. Also, we can use the solar to purify the water as the groundwater in the general vicinity may be contaminated. Also, we want to extend the future use of solar energy so this allows us to improve our methods.

                5. Anyone funds raised via this campaign will help build projects that will be completely not-for-project,

If you are a nonprofit organization helping the needy and you are taking the donations online why so much secrecy about the details?
