I OBEY ONLY THE QURAN
Those of you who claim that you only obey the Quran, be truthful to your word, and obey it. Do not be like the hypocrite Christians that, when told to obey the Torah, they say we only obey Jesus; thus bearing themselves witness of their hypocrisy.
P. Jesus, the gospels, clearly command to obey the torah to the letter, and after doing that, if the one submitted through the torah wants to be perfect; then, do what Gospel says.
Luke 1025 and behold an interpreter of the law stood up to test him, saying ?teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26 he said to him, ?what is written in the law? How do you read it?
Matthew 1916 ?Good teacher, what good things shall I do that I may have eternal life? 17 So he said to him? ?keep the commandments.??20 the young man said, ?All this things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack? 21 Jesus said, ? If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.?
Therefore, you who claim to only obey the Quran, do not be like the hypocrite Christians, and obey the Quran, if you are truthful. So, if there is an issue in which you do not find and answer/guidance in Quran; Example how to sacrifice and bleed an animal, sodomites, abortion, kidnapping, rape, etc.; then, obey the Quran, and go look for guidance in the Torah.32 The God no god except Him The Living one The Constant.
33 Descends upon you the book in the truth a confirmation for what between His hands (i.e. God?s plan); and descended the Torah and the Gospel.
34 of before/ in the past/ previously guidance for the mankind; and descended the criterion; verily the ones that they have denied /disbelieved in signs/verses/messages The God, for them torment intense-one/ severe-one; and The God all-mighty owns retribution.2848And yet, now that the truth has come unto them from Us, they say, "'Why has he not beenvouchsafed the like of what Moses was vouchsafed?"But did they not also, before this, deny the truth of what Moses was vouchsafed? they do say, "Two examples of delusion, supporting each other!" And they add, "Behold, we refuse to accept either of them as true!" 2849Say "Produce, then, revelation from God which would offer better guidance than either of these two - I shall follow it, if you speak the truth!"
(24) (believers are those) who believe in that which has been bestowed from on high upon thee, as well as in that which was bestowed before thee for it is they who in their innermost are certain of the life to come! Many will excuse themselves by claiming that the torah is corrupted. Is it that they think that God did not know the corruption in the Torah at the time of revelation, or that He did not know the corruption of the Torah at this time, or in the future from now? Those who believe that have gone far astray. They have not appreciated in its real magnitude the power of Allah, The Almighty, The Knowing, The Wise. Thus, Corruption in the books seems to be part of the test, for true believers will follow only the best of them. Think about it, if people do not find the answer/guidance for an issue in Quran, are they to take from the laws of man? In the west some are based in the scriptures, but, what if they live in India, or China? Then they will be totally perverted.
May God increase our knowledge and give us wisdom.

And the Torah is 10 directives.

I want to obey my Creator, because I think this basic principle has been strongly 'implanted' in me. My Creator is my Master and I have to obey Who created me, this is my basic principle.
The Qur'an is not God, but I think/feel that my Creator guides me to accept the Qur'an as my guidance book. But, like what I said in my other post
I accept the Qur'an as guidance book because my Rabb guided/guides me to accept it. If my Creator shows me that the Qur'an is wrong, I do not want to hesitate to reject it immediately.
The Qur'an is not my Creator, but as long as my Creator guides me to accept the Qur'an, then I want to accept the Qur'an as the guidance book to live my life.
People might accuse me as kafir or ignorant because of what I think or because of what I believe or because of what I said/did, but my Rabb is my Witness that I want to be a good person - because I know that the right path is by being good person. I cannot count how many times the negative/bad words being directed at me either in real life or at online discussion/talk. And among the reasons why I love Allah is because He never treated me similar like those people treated me. He taught/teaches me with His kindness.
And even if I'm a foolish, I still want to be a good person. But what is actually a good person? This is what I'm still learning and I feel that my Creator also wants me to be a good person. I know that I'm not perfect, but I have no wish at all to be a bad person. If someday I return to my Creator, I hope He will accept me and forgive me.
You seem disappointed/upset if there are people (like me) who reject the Bible. I reject the Bible because my Creator does not guide me to accept the Bible as my guidance book, thus I reject it. I think my Creator also does not guide me to regard the Bible as something equal as Torah, Zabur and Injeel.
So, if there is an issue in which you do not find and answer/guidance in Quran; Example how to sacrifice and bleed an animal, sodomites, abortion, kidnapping, rape, etc.; then, obey the Quran, and go look for guidance in the Torah.
So you have such thinking. Do you think the Qur'an is not enough as your guidance book (thus you still need Torah to guide you)?
go look for guidance in the Torah.
You cannot force your understanding on others.
I think you behaved as if you have the right to rule/order us.
Honestly, if people like you have authority to govern us, I'm afraid that you would be unfair to us.
Peace.

Peace all.
wrkmmn you seem to have been blessed with a very good understanding of gods scriptures, praise god, i hope this reminder will benefit me. i have surely been a transgressor
I am only now accepting that we are to follow the torah. i think it is clear from the quran that the distortions are actualy from people distorting the interpretation of it. similar to the situation we have with the quran, with its interpretation based on other sources instead of itself.
i am still unsure about shabbat. what does this mean?
only decreed/made the sabbath over/upon those who they differed/opposed with each other in it. and certainly thy lord will surely judge between them the standing day in what they did differ in it.
this is my interpretation, but i have quite basic understanding of arabic, is this saying that the decree is only for those who differ in it?
i know prophet jesus was more casual about the sabbath, but this was more against the hypocrites who critisized him for healing, and picking corn etc on the sabbath, so this does not seem conclusive
are we obliged to observe the shabbat? and what/when is it anyway?
god tells us to leave of trading, etc when the call to prayer is anounced on the day of jummuh. could this be the sabbath?
may my lord guide me, and allow me to accept the truth, and repent to him for failing to uphold his scriptures.
i have so many questions, which, praise god, he is answering, but now i feel alot of pressure, as i do not understand much, and i am worried about my transgressions, i know god is forgiving for those who sin out of ignorance, and for those who repent, if he so wills, this is surely a great test for me.
tempt this is how i feel at the moment. surely unsure.
peace.

Look for guidance in logic and rationality.
