sometimes i really get scared , that what will happen to us hereafter.
and there is a life ahead what if we will become involve in some sin which is not forgiven.. i also have same fear sometimes , the fear of punishment and the fear of God get angry becoz i actually love my God so i dnt want something i do which make my God angry on me , it will be a shame for me..?
sometimes i think may be the way what i m following is also not a proper way like everybody and every religion think they are right, and in the end if i come up wiith the result not acceptable , it will be a great loss? no chance of reedeem.
when all these thinking together come i think humankind really did a mistake to accept this trust , or it was something else was going on before and it will continue hereafter..

i know brother but the fear of supreme being is very strange.. from my childhood i always feel there is an hidden eye on me , and this fear also saved me from lot of wrong things .. but again in my privacy when i get so much nervous i pray from lord always guide me towards the path what is favored by you and save me from the retrebution of hell.. then i get relaxed

I dont visit much this website only for information. Now I want information from you; Is it haram to ask God to take your life, in salaat?
Today, I found out that my favourite colleague died last night. Out of nowhere, no warning, no nothing. Dead. Just like that. It is as Allah wills, but, particularly with this in mind, what you ask boggles my mind. Allah SWT has placed a favour upon you. Why do you deny it. Don't be a coward. Live your life and Allah will send his Angel to summon you when it is time. For everything has an appointed time. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of The Worlds.

sometimes negetive ideas comes in mind, usually defeat after defeat,,, inn worldy matters .. are responisble for these ideas but again.. never give up..we should not take something woth our hand which is pre determined by God , let God do his works we need to focus on our part why we are here..

indeed we must fear our Lord, for He is severe in retribution, and The Overpowering One, but he is also The Possessor of Supreme Bounty, I agree that human beings were foolish accepting this trust, i do hope our Lord forgives us, but we can only do our best, at the end of this day, we have a night, prehaps we sleep or rest in our Lords rememberances, and in the next day, we are risen up, none of us know what we will wake up to tommorow, but as God says 'let every soul look to what it has put forth for itself' or similar, and God is the most merciful, we just have to serve Him, and devote our lives to Him, and we atleast have an oppurtunity, and it seems there is a place in the hereafter for those who havent made it into paradise, al-`Aaraf, in my understanding, i certainly hope so, sometimes i dont know whether i will ever be saved from hell, i hope so, and i Trust God, i just dont trust my self, so i hope God has mercy and covers what i lack with it.
In terms of asking God to take your life, to my knowledge it is not haram, but however, i would point that;
if you mean take my life - im tired of it, its too hard etc, that kind of thing, i would say you should rather ask God to strengthen you, as i do, as we never know, whether we have had enough time to make a good account, or whether we are still lacking, i think there is some ingratitude in this form of it.
if you mean take my life as in - take myself to you when i am ready, or desiring to be a witness ('martyr', etc, i dont think there is anything wrong with this, i often ask God, to not only take my life, and let my life be given to Him, the life i have, and also when i die, that i die in His cause, and as a witness to Him, when i think of this, i think what a great achievement, the ultimate honour, and truely my greatest desire, that my Lord takes my life, and my death,
it realy depends what our intentions are, this life is a service to God, if you ask him to terminate your life, then its like quiting and not wishing to honour the bond, our contract with God, or asking your Master to let you go, he might be displeased, and see it as ingratitude.

I have been reckless and I was saved anyway. Skip the fear, but be a good man. This is what I changed.

ALLAH reminds us in the quran, that the punishment of your LORD is not something to be taken for granted. no one realy knows what is hidden from them, unless as the quran asks 'do you have promises binding upon Us untill the day of resurrection?'

Fear is an interesting emotion.
Too much - It's irrational and overwhelming. It consumes us, paralyzing us mentally (and physically in some cases).
Too little - We can become reckless. We can underestimate consequences.
There needs to be a balance. We can't be "paralyzed", but we also can't rush into every decision either. Fear can make us careful, controlled. Fear can be motivating. It can cause us to act to change a situation, or change ourselves, if one has the self-awareness to recognize when they become fearful of who they are (or how they are behaving).
My friend explained to me how she recently used her fear to confront an abusive boss. Her workplace situation had gotten to the point of anguish so, despite her fear (or because of it), she knew something had to change. So she gathered up her fear and took it with her into the meeting. Her body shook, her knees grew weak, but her resolve remained unshaken.

Fear keeps the true nature of a person hidden. Many people who are inherently evil, like child molesters, rapists, murderers etc. will do negative actions while hiding at home but will avoid them in public because of fear of law. Negative actions should be avoided not because of fear but because it is immoral and because you love other-selves and self. The one who does not underestimate consequences and is not reckless and avoids negative actions just because of fear but not because of morality, wisdom and love is a sick and disgusting person. Recklessness should be avoided and consequences should not be underestimated NOT BECAUSE OF FEAR BUT BECAUSE OF LOVE. When one has love for other-selves and self, then one will automatically avoid such actions resulting in harm to other-selves and self.
Love and wisdom cannot and will not flourish where there is fear. Fear will prevent service to others based on love and will encourage service to self, and in this way fear will impede spiritual progress. All negative emotions like anger, wrath, revenge, jealousy, anxiety, resentment, disgust, worthlessness, depression, helplessness etc. are based on fear. All the atrocities being committed on Earth by control and manipulation of people by the secret hidden "powers to be" are being committed by using fear based tactics.
"Fear is an experience in which an entity perceives itself as helpless, and therefore a victim for those who are powerful".
