If even looking at the opposite sex is a sin

i disagree, its not a sin to look at opposite sex otherwise everybody is a sinner on daily basis, doing something wrong with private parts is a sin catagorically,,,

Looking upon the opposite sex with desire is a sin, especially when there is no use for it, i.e. you are not after finding a mate. When you seek a bondmate then it is feasible to look upon the woman to strengthen the bond, but the sex appeal should not blind one into bonding with a woman seeking this world. An established relationship should later not be built around visual attraction but the bonding should be between souls which have natively no body.

If even looking at the opposite sex is a sin, Then how Im gonna meet my wife ?

To my knowledge Jesus used to say to his apostles, that they should not look at the other women, because it can lead to sexual thoughts. Which is as if they had sexual contact with those women mentally.

But how can I even meet someone special? If even looking is a sin. How Im gonna choose my other half ?

        Peace

Mr. Jesus primarily referred to looking at random women across the land which will build up instinctive desire in a biologically functional male. Looking at women and feeling desire will make it harder to resist masturbation which is an ignorant activity.

If even looking at the opposite sex is a sin, Then how Im gonna meet my wife ?

The only thing remain is by looking at the same sex.. then you will meet your husband..

To my knowledge Jesus used to say to his apostles, that they should not look at the other women, because it can lead to sexual thoughts. Which is as if they had sexual contact with those women mentally.

                  Only according to Matthew...

"But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
                  -- Matt 5

Whether Jesus really says the above? who knows??? Perhaps he did, perhaps he did not...
                  Yet.. does it matter??

You should stop desire her. Desiring her is an instinct. She is beautiful to you so that you should ignite your pitiful lowly lust. And you should realize that these feelings are enslaving. But as long as you do not realize the instinctive drive is what actually is Satan you will only do like you did in your post and laugh at my argument.

You have not understood that worldliness is not to be desired? Even the sectarian interpretation of Quran conveys that oddly enough. The sectarian interpretation says "lower your gazes", what does that mean to you, Imran?

I would urge you to stop laughing at what I am saying and instead begin to realize that there is a point in the reasoning. But obviously I cannot force you nor will I try, but you contradict even an established religious interpretation.

The naughty dreams are generated by Satan in your body. Your body generates the dreams depending on its condition.

And while I said it is an ignorant activity you can avoid "charging up" its necessity. About natural process I am urged to try to see if it is possible to abstain in the long run and prove you wrong. Mind over matter.

And sin, the word, means something done by ignorance and in vain for no practical benefit other than done due to your instinct.

brother i m not desiring her.. i was just asking the soultion what should we do, we are totally in the atmosphere where we encounter girls and boys in our daily life, and desiring somebody is in the functions of body...

what if you feel hungey would you desire for chicken is it bad... ?

about the interpretation i wonder you gave that reference , is it not methphorical as well... lower your gaze mean stay away from illegal sexual intercourse... is it illogical if you say everytime we lower our gaze?.. where you really need to ponder about methaphorical things you did not, and where the apparent meaning is there you claim its methphorical... anyway.. lower ur gaze is a nice manner , same eating with spoon is a nice manner... if you eat with hand you did not commit sin... same if you look at opposite sex it does not consider as sin untill you both appraoch eachother by private parts... thats what the real logic tell us...

                            peace

                                Salam,

The moment I step out the door I see women dressing very tight clothes, revealing too much, and their cleavages are too apparent. God has already said we should lower our gaze. I myself have decided that I should lower my gaze when I go out because if I don't, it will lead to that instinct thing Man of Faith mentions, which requires huge self-control...

Regarding the verse about what Jesus said, I haven't read the Bible, but from the sound of it; do not seduce and invite. Looking lustfully at someone is seductive and inviting...
We get the lesson from Joseph's story in Quran, when woman seduces him and he says to God something about better being in prison than being seduced (I think). Someone with more knowledge? Can't look up Quran right now.

                                Salam

May the Peace be with you,

Here is your answer, from Scripture

                                    Gospel - Matthew 528
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

LUSTFULLY, anyone who looks at a woman LUSTFULLY.

So what can we learn from this verse? Do not look lustfully to woman.

Satan (our inner devil) is real peice of shite, he is a racist, homophobic, warmongering and horny scumbag and if i see him personally i will take him down

Torah - Leviticus 1822 ??Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.

May the Peace be with you,

Here is your answer, from Scripture

                                          Gospel - Matthew 528
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

LUSTFULLY, anyone who looks at a woman LUSTFULLY.

So what can we learn from this verse? Do not look lustfully to a woman.
