      Peace Sisters and Brothers

I just cant understand how does it fit into our philosophy of life.

Why should I man who believes in one and only GOD. Worship a house ?

      Peace

You shouldn't (worship a house, or anything else).

There is no such things as 'our philosophy' really, outside packaged and whole sale Religion. I advice against selling your identity and awareness to packaged Religion.

People do it mostly out of fear and convenience.

Very interesting. I remember some time ago I was reading some articles showing the rituals of todays islam had alot of similarities to the old pagan rituals. I thought the articles I was reading were an attack on Islam D.

This forum can get overwhelming sometimes. But I'm addicted to knowledge seeking especially when it's related to the Quran. Thank you.

                      Salam,

We shouldn't. Quran doesn't mention any of the "rites".

Also, the black cube isn't the area of pilgrimage nor is it the direction of our prayers. This is all fabricated.

Read this article, which studies where the real direction is and the area of pilgrimage.

                      Remember to verify yourself!

                      Salam

                        peace be with you

                        they shouldnt...

                        simple as that..

unless someone can show me in the quran where it says to run around 7 times, kiss a black stone, throw stones at pillars, or any of the things they do..

in fact it seems obvious from the quran, and historical evidence that the Mecca we have now, in its entirety is a fabrication.. to me at least.

in fact whatever the house is, God tells the quraysh 'let them serve the LORD of this house'

                        peace be with you

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.
