the same applies to man, a man in swimming suit is allowed because he's covering his private parts, therefore according to your logic, my understanding is that partial nudity is allowed, as long as the private parts are covered.

@amin that's my point, how do we define what falls under lust and what doesn't - reading the verse and different opinions makes me understanding that the requirement is to guard your private parts, so ok you guard those private parts in a swim suit as well.

Now depending on the geographical location, we know that showing different part of bodies means different things.
here in the uk, a girl showing her belly gives an indication that creates lust (because of the society we live in), yet this same behaviour in southern sides of india don't create any lust.
Like I've explained in my earlier post, there are tribes where women and men are literally naked(with very small garment covering their private parts and some time not even those) yet walking around almost fully naked doesn't create lust in those tribes.

So how do you define lust?

      Peace,

24/31 is referring to attire and behavior. Behavior is
mentioned first and last, attire is secondary. The women are
not to walk in a provocative manner to draw attention to herself.
I do enjoy my spouse when she strikes her feet a certain way

Anybody and everybody wants to get DUE attention. But when a whole sex or class is humilliated being derived of rights and in order to get some fairness, just some, must get it no by claiming justice but be covincing that the one being sked for fairness is going to gain something from it, what do those illtreated people do? Women have been accused of the same faults as slaves and then some. Slaves also go about roundabout ways to get what they in fact should be given without question women so, and when they are young and beautiful, beauty gives a small, just a samll weapon and what they do not get for beauty robably will never get. That is what happens in unjust cruel societies in the same degree that they are so.

The Qur'an and the rophet came to change that, and threfore to free women from having to offer beauty in exchange for some justice. Therefore those women addressed in 24.31 are told to free themselves from hte need of offering beauty in exchange for justice, they should get justice as a matter of course.

It is surprising that we are fed so much nonsense about instinct in women and so forth, when if it is an intinct it isjust th eintinct of slef defece and self preservation.

          Salaam

The two, behaviour and clothing, don't always work along side.
You can have modest garment and yet your behaviour might be the cause of lust.

the anklet is also a symbol of prositution who attracts men with dance that make beat of their anklets..with the movement of feet..

its called mujra ( dance with beats of anklets) in a place where the customers are sitting like a watch dogs .. rotfl

so in common cultural values in indo-pak the girl who wear anklet even as a fashion is not well encouraged by elders...

Cultural perception changes and evolved over time..
Now such symbolism is being replaced with a 'pole'...
Is it fair to say "Your hobby is pole dancing? You must be a slut!"

but women always wanted to get attentions... its not fair to to restrict them let them enjoy the bounties of life...

Of course.. and better accept that as the nature of things are...

It's ok to get attentions... but it's not recommended to draw attention when you're surrounded by rapist, thug robber and thieves..

Ankle bracelet thingy (or any other fashionista stuff) got nothing to do with morality... it's more towards 'safety'... given certain context around the audience when the book was being written. (Situational).

And it doesn't serve as an excuse to root out the actual problem itself, getting rid of the rapist, thug, robber and thieves from society.

                It is useless.

No atter what the Qur'an says ad even if it concerns only women, many males will think tat anything, but anything under the sun is for their benefit, not for the benefit of the women tregardless of men.

I definitely give u. Live inyour bubble and think that the only being in the human kinf worth be told things for their own benefit is the male.

Yes I give u. At least here.

                Salaam

actually this pole thingie is not introduced in indo pak yet,,lol

they are still doing mujra.. sometimes it makes me feel like that fake world is also a product of male.. but a female is suffering.. on other words their stories are based on the cheating of males that bring them there... and its males that boost the shows of dancing..

after something happened with me in past now i change my thinking nobody reallly look like they are these weak females have most of the time strong cunning mind that cause trouble ... i mean i m not racist against male or female but its easy for a female to cause trouble in land... cause murder, put a person on wrong end... seperate a person from family these tricks of women are very old and just one thing she need a man fell in love with her blindly... sometimes it works sometimes women get in their own trap which cause them harm more than good...

note i m not talking about random females the subject here is prositution characters...

It's ok to get attentions... but it's not recommended to draw attention when you're surrounded by rapist, thug robber and thieves..

they rappist will never think about attention , the robber will never follow the sound of beats...

most of the time the rappist have lust on his mind and the robber ,thief ,thugs are specially waiting for bus, car or anybody who arrive and they rob him... with or without anklets didnt make any difference if there is a rape or robbery in destiny... i mean if somebody already decided to rob you ... yeh but sometimes you are lucky when a superman come and save you from bady boys... or police... but in the most of the times poilce also have shares in robbery

Ankle bracelet thingy (or any other fashionista stuff) got nothing to do with morality... it's more towards 'safety'... given certain context around the audience when the book was being written. (Situational).

actually this time i m not really talking about the subject of BOOK.. its just a general talk and experiences...

This you have got it right. I congratulate you. It is so. The rapist is the rapist. The heinous looker full of lust is the einous lustful looker full of lust, he is out for it...

On the other hand, imran, about this

but its easy for a female to cause trouble in land... cause murder, put a person on wrong end... seperate a person from family these tricks of women are very old and just one thing she need a man fell in love with her blindly...

It may happen sometimes with women, but I have seen it happen many times with men. Only from men is like... it is expected and it is not even noticed or taken notice of, like if it was one of their rights, if the in laws are really harming or said to be harming... the usual tricks for him to have the things as he wants them.

And I have also seen many other male tricks, which I am not going to say that it is bcause men are worse, but it is simply because males are taught that they can get away with so much... and they would be stupid to "spoil" their lives not taking advantage, which is I think the reason that there are so many men prophets inthe Qur'an, they need really a lot of examples not to be deluded by so many things that are served to them on a platter.

I see that you do notice some of those things. I hope you are one of those who can learn and prefer to follow the prohets rather than boast about them.

                    Salaam

actually look at the post again it was not adress to random society women.. and men..

i was talking about wicked people and both males and females... the one who bring them in business and run it for their own purpose... the women on other hand looks like a victim of crupt males but when we go deeper , we may understand these type of womens are even worst creature of humanity .. i actually try to help somebody in past , and u cant even imagine what results i faced and what type of face of a women i see which make me sick till now... i just wanted to help somebody but may b it happen due to my own good atleast i can understand why these girls are suffering this type of life beciase actually they deserve it... due to thieir own evil nature.. now i did not feel sympathy for them..

i was alwasy feeling sympathy for these type of women who are doing this stuff , and their stories are horrible , but what i see is on both sides its like a inside war of sex determination is going on, male and female... female consider herself weak and when times come she take revenge inn such a way that a ego of man hurt badly which cause them to murder..

and i write the note in the end as well... the topic was about specific people male and female who are involved in prositution and pornography and human trafficking,, these people are worst of society the real kaffirs infact...and when time come they will even murder for the sake of money... robing , cheating, murdering , doshonesty is the key factors to these people..

its better to stay away from these people , its just an advice..

I agreed, however, 24/31 instructs the behavior and attire of women,
                        not the reaction/behavior/lust of others.

                        peace
