Well, just like the gypsy women with reading the hands. They look at you intently i you eyes as if they could see anything, then look at the hand and say whatever they think suits best. You know nd they know that you know thhat they have not seen anything, but there you are, you have your luck read in your hnd by a gypsy and she has got something to put on the table for breakfast or supper or whatever. That is what I call consensual cheating.

Exactly. When we were in our teens, a friend told us that there was this Turkish lady who can see the future with coffee readings...so a group of us decided to cut classes and go see her. She lived in a dilapidated building where almost all the apartments were abandoned but it added to the atmosphere. However when we entered her place, it was amazing, all done up and in stark contrast to the outside. No doubt her readings contributed to this luxury but at that point we didn't begrudge her success 'cause just seeing a well lit up place with fancy fabrics took away all the fear from the jump scares we got on the way there via dark, dank corridors, mostly from rats under the rubble and weird druggies in corners. Anyways, she didn't waste time...made us Turkish coffee and read our fortunes, then took our money. She saw two eyes in my coffee cup and said 'someone is always watching me'...I was like oh yeah! my grandmother always tells me she's watching me and she stays with us! IT ALL MAKES SENSE...Anyways we laughed all the way back and decided Turkish coffee was awesome since it was the first time we had it, but a bit pricey...we could've gotten lunch instead. Good times though, at least until our Biology teacher took us to the VP's office for cutting classes.

Haha very true, but the next day is when we decided she wasn't even a good con artist, because if someone sees girls wearing their school uniforms in the morning on a weekday...I'd at least predict some trouble in the near future laugh

So I was sitting down with a couple of sectarians, both shias and sunnis. Suddenly they began looking into coffee cups and tell each others futures rotfl rotfl
I told them these activities are haram, but I can't find the verse now to read for them. I remember there's a verse saying it's sinful. I might be wrong, maybe the verse said something about conversing with jinns.
Anyone know the verse(s)?

actually i have a live experience in my life...
there was a perosn in remote areas of village in south asia.
he claims to the people he know a lot of things... interestingly he prove his cliams by different tactics...
my frd car was stolen and he want to ask who steal it?
at first without asking anything from us,, he write down something in the paper and he told my frd to open it ?
a shock happen when he already write the model make and color of car which was stolen even the time and day ? without asking the single thing from us why we are visiting him...
he ask some money to locate the where the car is right now .... and once i went with him another time with two of my father sisters and they are not only sisters but also their kids get married with each other ...
the first question the person ask from my father sisters whats your relation with each other,, they replied we are sisters...
then he say there is another relation indeed ... and they both get confused...he claim he have some jinss/mokeel captured by him and they told him information...
interestingly he was famous for revealing the name of person who steal things and most of the times people get their things recovered... even once police caught him and was asking about a robbery at first he did not tell them then police start beating him up rotfl and he told them the exact thing...
