HELP! I have a disscusion with my sunni friend that QURAN ALONE is the Truth.

You can show the truth only if you know the truth yourself.
I have sunni friends and realised that it's difficult to explain them my approach, matter of fact I don't even tell this as I don't want to attract unnecessary attention.When you have conversations with them, point out flaws, contradictions etc... and let them process those information.

Ahh our discussion didn't go where I wanted it to go to.
We end being really emotional. He started to say that Im playing for Shaitan and that the path Im on is really dangerous.
However he did not give me any certain proof that I must follow the Hadith.Than we I gave him examples of contradictions in the hadith. He said that some hadith are not true thus it might just be one of them.
One of the exmaples I gave was this

- Go and look for some sahih, strong hadith, which are clearly silly, and show him. Perhaps he will agree.
- You cannot and should not try to convince others. You may share your stance and give your reasons, but don't do it with the agenda to convince him. Don't try to change someone else. Just be a role model.

dnt try to involve in a discussion with the people who are emotional.. sometimes its dangerous, because the religion/faith is more emotional than rational infront of lot of people...
just a simple way.. is instead of telling him about truth... you should carry on asking about truth?
instead of telling him weak/strong hadith ...
tell him something on which you both agree... i mean ask him.. show him some verses that make any secondary sources unvalid to uplhold as a law beside God and ask him what is truth...? then you will see he will make a about face and willl keep quiet and next day or after some days... after asking from his seniors he will come up with some questions...
like tell me the procedure of salat,
zakat, circumcision etc ...first question definately will be , show us a procedure of salat within quran if you are true...
you need to b ready how to tackle questions , it depends on the strong grip of everything including quran history traditiion, comparative religion knowledge... difference between salat and pray.. timings max and minimum etc,, for this i advise you to get urself learn all things first ... then make urself ready for sharing your knowledge... the reason of debate is to clear confusions about diff beleiving instead of winning an argument..
so my advise is if you really want to learn something ... then use all the options you have availaible for understanding and gripping something ...

To grasp knowledge in Al-Haqq is something that differ between a Momin and a Muslim.

I actually lost a friend over this and I was not trying to convince him, he was trying to convince me. I asked him about a hadith that applied to his personal situation and he replied that it was not known if that hadith was authentic. So I asked how HE PERSONALLY decided which hadith he considered authentic and he actually said he wasn't too well versed on hadith. So... these things that he admittedly does not know much about, he is insisting I govern my life by. I asked that and have not talked to him since. He pretty much told me I was naive and hung up angry. Eh, wtvr, ya know.
I've kinda learned it is best to submit to Allah(swt) the way you truly believe you should and let others do the same.

How can I show him the Truth prove him ?

No use. Something new I learned after opening a blog I dedicated to collecting evidence of Quran being the only source of Islam while hadiths are fake. I gave links of them to some sectarians on other sites I was discussing the topic. According to blog stat, not a single person among them ever actually visited them. He said he was honestly interested to know our views. He seemed genuine. However, the blog state shows he never ever visited the links I gave him. He didn't even read my long replies. It all became even more visible as soon as he told me to prove that the sayings didn't come from the real followers of the Prophet. I told him to respond to my points and swear for the opposite. First he dodged the question. Then when I reminded him again to do it, he gave me a "huh?".

Change it from Quran alone to submission to God alone.
I don't know how you should talk to them specifically but I can share my experience I had with family and people when talking about submitting to God alone and upholding Quran only.
1.They will make excuse after excuse. Even if you refute their excuses, they will leave that excuse and move on to the next excuse. So be ready to counter all excuses-best done by studying the Quran.
2.When you ask for proof of their claim, they will continue to say the same claiming many times, and they will shout louder and louder, they might think you can't hear them. Tell them you can hear them.
3.You might spread a message instead of talking to them, but then there's a great chance they won't even open it. If they never read it, tell them you will read it for them and explain everything. Of course, you must be prepared that they will act like listening, then start doing other activities instead of listening. Then the excuses come again.
4.They will change subject faster than the speed of light. Some will straight out tell you to shut up because you're committing kufr, others will slap you. When they change subject you can either bring back the subject before they change or take it up other times, even though "other times"=never.
5.Warn them about Hell and punishment, it doesn't matter, because they believe you are going to hell, and some actually say they will only burn a few days then God will save them.
After 5 months I gave up with these people. Only sometimes I just remind them about submission to God alone.
When discussing about submission to God alone; remember two things if they reject;
1.They are rejecting God's revelations.
633 We know that you are saddened by what they say; they are not rejecting you, but it is the revelations of God which the wicked disregard.
2.Only God guides. Many verses in Quran about guidance.Salam

Q 4144 And if We had made it a Quran/reading in a foreign tongue, they would certainly have said Why have not its ayaat/signs/verses distinguish? What?a foreign (tongue) and an Arabic(tongue)! Say It is to those who believe(verify) a guidance and a healing; and those who do not believe(verify), there is a heaviness in their ears and it is obscure to them; "these are being called from a far-off place".
