    Hi all,

Please could anyone answer my question.

In Chapter 3 verse 44, what is the meaning of ?. Most of the commentators translate it as "they threw their pens to draw lots" but if you read chapter 5 verse 90, where God called it "the work of Satan".

Prophet Jonah was also involved in Chapter 37 in drawing lots. In one verse drawing of lots is fine but in the other verse it is the work of Satan.

    Please clarify.

    NK

A lot of people take everything were there is a chance involved as gambling.
A lot of times drawing lots is the only justified way to solve "problems".
