Hi. My name is Brandon. I am 30 years old and I live in the United States. I was born into a nominally Protestant family. We rarely attended church. In my early teens, I learned about Islam in school. I became with fascinated by it. Eventually, I got a copy of the Quran and began reading it. Never in my life have I been so moved or felt so close to God! Still, I wasn't sure if I wanted to be a Muslim. I let the idea simmer until I was 20 years old, when I made shahada. As time went on, I learned more about something called "hadith." Many of these hadith turned me off from Islam. I was told I couldn't be a Muslim if I didn't accept the hadith and follow the Sunnah of the Prophet. I was very sad, as I found I could not reconcile much of what I found in the hadith and the Sunnah with what I was reading in the Quran. So, I abandoned my faith. I spent years searching for God in various religions and faith traditions. None satisfied me. Then I learned about something called "Quranism" or Quran Alone Islam. After some research and much prayer, I have decided that I can be a Muslim without the hadith. I now follow only the Quran. I am once again happy and fulfilled. I hope to learn much from this forum.

It's also the "ahadith" collections of the sects that turned me off, but remember we see that pattern around nearly every Scripture from God.

The "Muslims" struggle with the "Ahadith"-doctrine, which is being propagated by the Saudis.

The "Christians" struggle with the "Trinity"-doctrine, which is being propagated by the Vatican.

The "Jews" struggle with the "Talmud"-doctrine, which is being propagated by "Pharisees".

The point is, when i started reading the Quran alone i started reading about the Torah, the Gospel and the Psalms and all other prophets. Now i also try to uphold the Torah, Gospel, Psalms and all other Scriptures that are from God. I hope you have not left the Gospel, because you know what the Messiah said about those who deny him.

Anyways, may the Lord welcome you to Hes Word which was send to the prophet Mohammed.

An English translation of the Quran - 2285 The messenger believes in what was sent down to him from his Lord; and the believers, all who believe in God, and His angels, and His Books, and His messengers "We do not make a distinction between any of His messengers;" and they said "We hear and obey, forgive us our Lord, and to you is our destiny."

An English translation of the Quran - 2946 And do not argue with the people of the Book except in that which is better; except for those who are wicked among them; and say "We believe in what was revealed to us and in what was revealed to you, and our god and your god is the same; to Him we submit."

2 tips Learn Arabic so that you know what the original Quran is telling you and stay away from sects who say that they follow Mohammed. Remember the Gospel in Matthew 6 about Prayer and the warnings.

And keep the commandments of God and stay away from those who tell you not to believe in the Gospel, Psalms, Torah etc.

May the Lord guide us, peace!

                brother adam...

bible + torah + gospels + hadith ====> work based on history records, eyewitnesses , or story writer the work written and authroised by paul, bukhari and comapny and so on.... the central authorites are missing like God and meesenger...

the quran ====>work of muhammad , attested by him, written by him , checked by him , within the control of God.. if he wanted to write annything from his wish then , God will seize him from his right hand and nobody will gona help him(alquran)

the central authorites are present ... a body called university attestation(God) and publisher/printer(messenger) both are present...

do you think it is compareable with same status what other books have....?
                or
is quran claim somehwhere rest of the scriptures were preserved or will get preserved always..like criterion?

if these scriptures were already present what make a need of God to send final revelation... and why God said that although you beleive in other things but judge everything through Quran? filter everything through quran...

so possibly thats why its preserved becoz its a filter for any teaching we have...
let say son of God, or god himself.. thags what todays bible claim... ( is it true) is it really from God ? or if its from God according to quran then (quran =bible) are not from same God?

thats why quran is there to check/analyse/judge .. even the very own followers of quran try to put some wishful thinking in their work called hadith but when we filter their teaching with quran we found it lies and errors... and we beleive these words are not from God.. so thats why we reject them.. does it make sense...?

interestingly the language of jesus and the language of first publishing records of bible are not same , and all of the christians also beleive on it... ! and agree on it...

if i can recall the first ever version that comes on the face of earth was in greek language... whereas the language of jesus was not greek for sure...

the gospels are collected by 40 different people , i mean the first manuscripts...

                      Stop listening to imrankhawaja.

yes you are right but listen to the clear verses ...

?'Shall I seek other than God as a judge when He has sent down to you the Book fully detailed?'? Those to whom We have given the Book know it is sent down from your Lord with truth; so do not be of those who have doubt." (Qur'an 6114 )

"Say 'Which is the greatest testimony?' Say 'God is witness between me and you, and He has inspired to me this Qur'an that I may warn you with it and whomever it reaches, that you bear witness that along with God are other gods!' Say 'I do not bear witness!' Say 'He is only One god, and I am innocent of what you set up!'? (Qur'an 619)

"We have revealed to you the Book with truth that you may judge between the people by that which God has shown you, and do not be an advocate for the treacherous. " (Qur'an 4105)

"And the Day We send to every nation a witness against them from themselves, and We have brought you as a witness against these. And We have sent down to you the Book as a clarification for all things, and a guide and mercy and good tidings to those who have surrendered." (Qur'an 1689)

next verse is called check mate ...

"And We have sent down to you the Book with truth, authenticating what is present of the Book and superseding it. So judge between them by what God has sent down, and do not follow their desires from what has come to you of the truth. For each of you We have made laws, and a structure; and had God willed, He would have made you all one nation, but He tests you with what He has given you; so strive to do good. To God you will return all of you, and He will inform you regarding that in which you dispute." (Qur'an 54

                      peace
                      God bless you all...

Check mate? I am not playing a game with you here.

An English translation of the Quran - 548 And We have sent down to you the Book with the truth, authenticating what is between your hands of the Book and superseding it. So judge between them by what God has sent down, and do not follow their desires from what has come to you of the truth. For each of you We have made laws, and a structure; and if God had willed, He would have made you all one nation, but He tests you with what He has given you; so strive to do good. "their desires", doesn't mean the Word of God. Because the Word of God can't be "their desires" since the desires of yours can never be equal and counted as a word of God.

An English translation of the Quran - 547 And let the people of the Gospel judge with what God has sent down in it. And whoever does not judge with what God has sent down, then these are the wicked.

Imrankhawaja, when are you going to leave me judge with the Gospel? Or are you going to disbelieve, reject and deny this verse?

An English translation of the Quran - 543 And how can they make you their judge when they have the Torah, in which there is the judgment of God; then they turn away after that. Those are not believers.

Imrankhawaja, when are you going to accept that the Torah contains the judgement of God? Those who turn away from that, are not believers.

The Biblical Gospels are likely translations of utterances Jesus made. He would likely have spoken Syriac Aramaic.

One hint is that when Jesus says "amen amen I tell you", the translators skipped translating amen despite that it can be translated (be sure be sure). Same goes for rephrasing Jesus' last words during his execution before he dies which are in Aramaic, likely because the audience could not make out what he said. And the Biblical Gospels are not God's direct words but someone's testimony written down.

Why there are (barely*) no Aramaic Gospels could be because they have been lost, hidden or destroyed, and it could be to wipe out traces of the truth.

                          • There exists one Aramaic account called the Gospel according to the Hebrews which is not canon and it does not contain anything of Jesus' life except the very end. It does reveal some differences from the canon.

Check mate? I am not playing a game with you here.

rotfl i did not say checkmate to you... or i m playing something with you...

the further posts will make it clear what was the purpose of saying check mate , it was not addressed to you but to the events that happen... before that verses...

"their desires", doesn't mean the Word of God. Because the Word of God can't be "their desires" since the desires of yours can never be equal and counted as a word of God.

yes their desire is to beleive that jesus is God = gospels = not words of God...
another desire , son of God = gospels = not words of God..

list is long actually but these two are enough.. to understand what is the difference between desires and truth...

Those who turn away from that, are not believers.

yeh i beleive in all of the verses... and i understand the context with verification instead of wishful thinking...

now these things are showing me you did not pay much attention while reading the verses or i dnt know what to say? ... look at them again by this view and compare with the verses what i m trying to say you.. if you are loyal with verses...

541 O messenger, do not be saddened by those who increase in disbelief from among those who said "We believe" with their mouths while their hearts did not believe. And from among those who are Jewish, there are those who listened to lies; they listened to people who never came to you; they distort the words from their context, and they say "If you are given this, then take it, but if you are given anything different, then beware!" And whoever God wants to test, then you will not possess anything for him against God. These are the ones whose hearts God did not want to cleanse; in this world they will have humiliation, and in the Hereafter they will have a great retribution.

so this verse is telling us the scripture what God given to the followers of book they disorted it....

                              next move

542 They listen to lies, and consume money illicitly. If they come to you, then you may judge between them or turn away from them; and if you turn away from them then they cannot harm you in the least; and if you judge then judge between them with justice. God loves those who are just.

so be careful while judging things... as we know they changed it...

                              next move

543 And how can they make you their judge when they have the Torah, in which there is the judgment of God; then they turn away after that. Those are not believers.

hmmm now the context is pretty clear that ... the original judgement of torah . the turn away from it.. turn away from the judgement what was meant to be in torah...

                              next move

544 We have sent down the Torah, in it is guidance and a light; the prophets who have peacefully surrendered judged with it for those who are Jews, as well as the Rabbis, and the Priests, for what they were entrusted of God's book, and they were witness over it. So do not revere the people but revere Me; and do not purchase with My signs a cheap price. Whoever does not judge with what God has sent down, then these are the ingrates.

so we beleive God send messengers and message from time to time starting from torah which was disorted but still we beleive on the fact that God send messengers and scriptures ... which was already disorted the true message now we will move too the next step...

546 We followed their teaching with Jesus the son of Mary, authenticating what was present with him of the Torah. We gave him the Injeel, in it is guidance and light, and to authenticate what is present with him of the Torah, and a guidance and lesson for the righteous.

                              stage 2

God now send his messennger jesus for correcting their ways which they disorted ... already...

                              next move...

547 Let the people of the Injeel judge with what God has sent down in it. Whoever does not judge by what God has sent down, then these are the vile ones.

again God is saying them judge/filter torah through injeel becoz the corrupt people already changed the true teaching of God...

stage 3 final stage till date

548 We have sent down to you the book with truth, authenticating what is present of the book and superseding it. So judge between them by what God has sent down, and do not follow their desires from what has come to you of the truth. For each of you We have made laws, a structure. Had God willed, He would have made you all one nation, but He tests you with what He has given you, so advance the good deeds. To God you will return all of you, and He will inform you regarding that in which you dispute

the same thing they did with injeel and now God send down quran and advise the followers of book to judge from final revelation ... both torah and injeel... which were already disorted as per quran...

what we see there corrupters never accept jesus and plan to kill him due to wickedness ... after jesus dies the followers did same thing too make him God ... and then final revelation God send it down and also God make it sure that it will not change..

the verses 6/114 ,6/119, 4/105 ,16/89 are also there to tell you what i m already saying ... to judge/filter everything with quran and this law apply till date ... as we know there is not any revelation come after that and history is witness its not changed...

see thats how you study and understand things... and i m sure if you are true believer of God you will listen the advises ..

so tht was my final move

Then I learned about something called "Quranism" or Quran Alone Islam. After some research and much prayer, I have decided that I can be a Muslim without the hadith. I now follow only the Quran. I am once again happy and fulfilled. I hope to learn much from this forum.

You then will also learn that you can be a muslim without the Quran.

                                        Hey Brandon,

I have had a similar experience as you.
                                        Happy for you! peace ;D

Just wanted to say that Quran Alone is not something started by anyone, a tradition or a sect. Following God's Words Alone is The Way of Existence!!

You might find some of the topics discussed in this site troubling or perhaps completely against your understanding but remember that men are fallible and their shortcomings should not affect your FAITH.

Put all your trust in The God and let Him Alone guide you ever-closer to the Straight Path, He teaches us in so many ways through His Signs, and with His Help we have to learn recognize His Signs
