There are still parts of the world where girls marry at a young age. The age of marrying was never a subject of controversy for humans in a certain society, because they follow their culture. Some cultures, even nowadays still approve young people's marriage according to the culture's ruling.

God never went into telling you how to live your life. But God has shown us the path and through the path one acquires the right logic to take the right decisions. Otherwise, people just follow their ideas and cultures, and in some culture, what you call "pedophilia" is something very normal. This has nothing to do with the Quran.

Also, the title is misleading, blasphemous, pushy. Looking forward to the "Quran and bestiality" topic. (because Quran doesn't say anything about bestiality, yet reading the entire Quran you know what Quran says about it)

      Response?

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

It is not saying that they do not menstruate yet, but they do not mentruate. There are a variety of causes how a full grown women may not menstruate. The "yet" is pure invention.

          Salaam

Whatever that verse says there is for sure no "yet", at least I can not find it. And simple "small" inventions like this can turn every understanding upside down.

Yes its all misread and misinterpreted to suit ones fancy and then promoted to the rest of the world as a general guide in the name of god. Only the sincere will find this inconsistent with Quranic teachings. It is oppression of the greatest kind to young girls who are not mature physically and mentally THUS how could this be allowed by GOD???

ALWAYS as general rule, the Quran says we need to avoid all kinds of oppression - be guided always.

                Salam,

654 was a bad translation. This is more accurate

654 As for those who have reached menopause from your women, if you have any doubts, their interim shall be three months. As for those whose menstruation has ceased, and those who are already pregnant, their interim is until they give birth. And anyone who reverences God, He makes his matters easy for him.

The word "women" is explicitly mentioned in the verse. So it is about women only. A little from physiology

Irregular periods are often one of the first signs that a woman is approaching menopause. Though the exact symptoms of irregular periods vary depending on a woman's unique cycle, most women will experience irregular periods for three to ten years before periods stop completely. In fact, only 10% of women reach menopause without any irregular periods.

You are correct real .but i dont why we got struck to the argument of Pedophilia in verse 65.4 when we clearly know that it is classical classification of Amenorrhoea

i do agree with you to some extent , it was a very common practice in the past and of course it is a fiqh issue .people have molded this verse in order to suit their situations .
as some kafir told me , do we feel insecure about this verse

                        God never /cannot promote pedophelia...

                        one need to think logically..

15 years old girl get married with 15-20 years old boy is not phidephilea...
15 years old girl married with 50 years old man may catagrosie as phidoplilea... on grounds based on age difference / age gap... etc

so as far i think its not prohibbted for a 20 year old boy/girl to marry with 40/50 years girl/boy it depends on personal choice and sometimes circumstances... sometimes culture bounds.. and sometimes by own stupidity of making a wrong choice...

so whatever we choose we will get results accordingly... everyboody have a right to choose what suits them.. depends what somebody is looking...

getting married with 50 years old women for a poor boy of 25 for his own advantage is not considerded as wrong doing but a bad choice may be...

same getting married with with 60 years old man with 20 years old girl is also a bad choice and when bad choices are made by indiviudual it has nothing to do with religion the reuslts of these bad choices always infront of headlines from time to time...

                        peace...
                        God bless you all

Do you remember Ben , once i told you that crime is the outlook of the majority .if people had thought theft is not crime than it is not .
child marriage is very common around the world even today .i know a Madwad lady who was married at the age of 3 to a man of 18 and the same lady is searching alliance for his 14 years old son .
it is very common in Rajasthan.
                          lets see few links
                          http//www.aol.com/article/2015/07/01/shocking-picture-shows-a-35-year-old-man-marrying-a-6-year-old-g/21203837/
                          https//www.newsdeeply.com/womenandgirls/finding-alternative-child-marriage-girls-rajasthan/

The reality is child marriage was there in the past and it is there in the present world also .It is religious .even today there is a belief among Hindus if a old man to marries a young virgins his life span will increase . no one bothers about other religions because every one knew that Hinduism is not a true religion .but is makes a world of difference when the same issue comes to Islam .the answer may be that ,Muslims always search Quran and their so called ahadith for solutions and solutions are depend on scholars .they believe their scholars more than their scriptures.
let see the scholar based translation of this verse 65.4
                          Hilali & Khan
And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the 'Iddah (prescribed period), if you have doubts (about their periods), is three months, and for those who have no courses . And for those who are pregnant (whether they are divorced or their husbands are dead), their 'Iddah (prescribed period) is until they deliver (their burdens), and whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him.

so this is the proof that some where in the past people used this verse in order to deduce the rulings regarding child marriage

What the verse says is different
                            from what the translation says

...and the waiting period for those who have had no monthly course is three lunar months likewise.

It is clear that the 3-lunar month (shahr) waiting period is for the two parties
to decide whether they shall divorce or not
rather than to find out whether the wife is pregnant or not.

They already know she is not pregnant,
                            otherwise
the waiting period would NOT be measured by lunar months,
it would be measured by monthly courses like in 2228.

This part of the verse is about delayed puberty
which is pathologically considered the case if the menarche has failed to occur by the age of 18
                            (https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delayed_puberty).

                            The lady marries AND divorces
                            before her first monthly course.

                              Verse 65.4
And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you doubt, then their period is three months, and those who have not menstruated. And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they give birth. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him of his matter ease.

                              Here is the main culprit
Narrated Sahl bin Sad While we were sitting in the company of the Prophet a woman came to him and presented herself (for marriage) to him. The Prophet looked at her, lowering his eyes and raising them, but did not give a reply. One of his companions said, "Marry her to me O Allah's Apostle!" The Prophet asked (him), "Have you got anything?" He said, "I have got nothing." The Prophet said, "Not even an iron ring?" He Sad, "Not even an iron ring, but I will tear my garment into two halves and give her one half and keep the other half." The Prophet; said, "No. Do you know some of the Quran (by heart)?" He said, "Yes." The Prophet said, "Go, I have agreed to marry her to you with what you know of the Qur'an (as her Mahr)." 'And for those who have no courses (i.e. they are still immature). (65.4) And the 'Iddat for the girl before puberty is three months (in the above Verse).

                              Followed by uneducated Muslim scholars.

                              Blue primary Amenorrhoea

Yeah, at least 6 months of skipping is possible. However, irregular menstruation can't prevent pregnancy. In short, the verse is easier to understand when biology is taken into account.

                              God never /cannot promote pedophelia...

Yeah, the mullahs who say he does should show at least one child marriage example from Quran.

I am afraid your hadith is not right on the target .interestingly , i did not found any direct hadith to prove the scholars were correct . however, there is mention of "young women " only in tafsirs .i have made my search to find the exact hadith used by Ibn katir ,Asbab Al-Nuzul by Al-Wahidi or by maududi but i could not find them in any of the six books of ahadith .can you able to trace the source of these ahadith mention in tafsirs .is it the manipulation of scholars in the name of hadith?

I am afraid your hadith is not right on the target .interestingly , i did not found any direct hadith to prove the scholars were correct . however, there is mention of "young women " only in tafsirs .i have made my search to find the exact hadith used by Ibn katir ,Asbab Al-Nuzul by Al-Wahidi or by maududi but i could not find them in any of the six books of ahadith .can you able to trace the source of these ahadith mention in tafsirs .is it the manipulation of scholars in the name of hadith? They are over educated But in the case of Primary amenorrhoea menstrual cycles never starts (....those who have not menstruated....)

                                  https//4.bp.blogspot.com/-88N4pdCtYLU/WGS6h7cLa4I/AAAAAAAAAbI/ZgKxKJNSC_0BwEWWBnTlcucpEUjTpt8ewCLcB/s1600/hadith.png

Mullahs do not use only the 6 hadith books. No two hadith books coming from the same person worldwide are same and our point is that the scholars are wrong.

                                    Hi,
Is it true that Quran allows intercourse and marriage with girls? I think chapter 65 allows it.

                                    Thank you

The law principle is everything allowed unless stated otherwise. So many things we allowed to do in life (do gym, making apps, go by plane, playing football, etc) not because Quran allow them, but because Quran didn't forbid them.

Marry a female who did not yet menstruate is not forbidden, so we may do so. Since marriage is a law bond, then it can only initiated by adult people. Therefore, young girls can only be married by her parents. So it depends on the parents whether they will let their girl marry in young age or not.

Quran 654 itself doesn't specifically allowing marry immature female, but it indeed can be used in case of divorced of a didn't yet menstruate female.

getting married with with 60 years old man with 20 years old girl is also a bad choice

Can you explain what is bad thing about that?

As long as both of them feel fine, it's just fine. The old man get advantage of the youth of his wife, and the young girl get advantage of the wise, patient, and maybe the prosperity of her husband. What's the problem?

If let's say the old man is died 5 years later when she is still 25, then if God willing she can marry other man. What's the problem?

If let's say after married for a few years the old man health is decreased badly then his wife can't "be satisfied" by him anymore, she has option to propose divorce (with all its legal consequences). What's the problem?

Please broaden your perspective about life instead of being so judgemental by saying this bad and that bad based on popular opinions.

i was talking about choice , not about thing.. nope

and i also told its depend what somebody is looking... a bad choice for me from your perception may be a good choice for you... choice is just a choice ... some people choose to wear next brand... some choose to wear non branded traditional dress ...

same the people who give priorties in things like money status, targets , feelings they make choices in life/education /job of their nature..

and it has nothing to do with religion thats what i said handshake

just imagine a person get married with at the age of sixty ... most of the cases for a girl who is 20 will make her mind that she will listen these kinds of things... regardless of truth or false...

like .. society comments of old and young couple..
2 age gap can disturb her coz the young fantasies vs old most of the times not work in bed life !
which give her harm more than benefit and in 70 percent cases a rich old man wife have a secret affair ...
and lot more things... due to which sometimes people reaise they make a wrong choice..

If let's say after married for a few years the old man health is decreased badly then his wife can't "be satisfied" by him anymore, she has option to propose divorce (with all its legal consequences). What's the problem?

yes my brother there is not a problem for her.. she already set her target and now she is free and successful .. she get what she wanted..

sometimes same go with girls who wanted to become actress
personal choices for sepending and choosing a style of life depends on your targets, rests of the things people usually sacrifice... depend on what are prefrences...

infact about death anybody can get died any time depends on the time of individual life.. sometimes younger died in accidents ..

i never based anything on opinions as i know there are more than seven billion living opinions are present with us... but what can we say without opinion people are useless pets.. without choices there is no purpose of life...

willingly or unwillingly everybody make choices for his/her life ... in every field of life including personal life career and stuff... so choices are never bad or good ... but literallly what we mean from bad and good usually based on the results in the end ... sometimes a chaser of career feel so alone in the sceane..

sometimes a chaser of money maker feel himself alone in the late 60z when he realise he wasted his whole life for collecting something what does not actually bellong to him... becoz everybody know death is knocking at our door everysingle second so some people realise hoarding has distracted them untill they see graveyards.. chap 102
