      Salaams idol,
they do the salah by saying a long or short preyer whereby they glorify Allah and talk and speak to him.I think its either one or two salahs a day.And once a week they do a preyer together about 45 minuites and chat as a group thing.

      http//www.bahai.org/

      Online Baha'i Library http//bahai-library.com/

I amnot sure of their concept of if there is one.

      Salaams.

        Peace be upon you,

Thanks for the links. I'll do some checking on my own and respond if I see any inconsistencies.

          peace be upon you,

its funny because when I took some test at belief.net that matches your answers on spiritual questions and what percentage they fit in with the 26 religions in their category and i got 100% on Bahai, I'm far away from agreeing with everything they say such as the prophets being divine manifestations but bahaism could be corrupted just like the "islam" of today is, here are a nice link to the scriptures of the bahais http//www.sacred-texts.com/bhi/index.htm

this mirrors my views almost to the word

Bah?'u'll?h taught that each human being is "a mine rich in gems" unknown even to the owner, let alone to others, and inexhaustible in its wealth. The purpose of life is to develop these capacities both for one's own life and for the service of humanity. Life in this world, as Bah?'u'll?h presents it, is like the life of a child in the womb of its mother the moral, intellectual, and spiritual powers which a human being develops here, with the help of God, will be the "limbs" and "organs" needed for the soul's progress in the worlds beyond this earthly one.

              Salaam tux,

why did Allah keep sending Messengers before,

              so many have come why?

They still have the toara, bible e.t.c

if we say we have the original un altered quran ,and they havn't,which hasn't changed, then Br. why are we wrecking our brains here at free minds trying to find the original quran.

239 We said ?Descend from it all of you, so when the guidance comes from Me, then whoever follows My guidance, they will have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.?

I think Allah has been sending us messengers and he will carry on doing this. And its just a matter of recognising whether there message is in accordance with previose messages but more up to date versions. If one checks Bahi literatue embodies more useful structure - i think of Allahs Message.(however - i may be wrong)

Because only our prophets leanage finished with him, the people who come to propagate the message after a messenger-and usualy they are the male children the descendants, but in the case of Moses it was his brother as well, and the Messengership didn't finish-as it isn't said anywhere-i think.

Please correct me - i may be wrong, thanks.

              My Salaam.

                Peace mz357

Do you believe these verses are from Allah?

                22
This is the Scripture in which there is no doubt, a guide for the righteous

                6114
?Shall I seek other than God as a judge when He has sent down to you this Scripture fully detailed?? Those to whom We have given the Scripture know it is sent down from your Lord with truth; so do not be of those who have doubt.

                6115
And the word of your Lord has been completed with truth and justice; there is no changing His words. He is the Hearer, the Knower.

                6116
And if you obey the majority of those on Earth they will lead you astray; that is because they follow conjecture, and that is because they only guess.

                  Salaams tux,
of course we all here ,i think, belive the quran as a whole is from Allah, but i think most of us here do conclude it has been grossly mistranslated by error and knowingly.

                  What do you reckon.

                  Salaams tux.

                    Greetings,

I have no intention of converting to Bahism, but I am just wondering, say I convert and the founders of that faith were wrong (i.e. they recieved no divine inspiration from God). Then, would I punished for it?

As far as I know, there's no verse in the Quran that says if you believe in a false messenger, God will put you in hell (of course, we should use our brains, but even so...)

In fact, there's a verse that says God will condem the false messengers

"And who is more wicked than one who invents lies about God, or says ?It has been inspired to me,? when We did not inspire anything to him; or who says ?I will bring down the same as what God has sent down.? And if you could only see the wicked at the moments of death when the Angels have their arms opened ?Bring yourselves out, today you will be given the severest punishment for what you used to say about God without truth, and you used to be arrogant towards His revelations.? (Quran 693)

No body can convert you unless you accept it. You make the choice for yourself. So you will be judged for your deeds. It doesnt matter who is giving you the message. Everyone is responsible for their own act.

So there is no loophole in God's system to put the blame on other.

                      peace
