What does this mean quran 6121?
It is a meccan verse. I thought only Medinan ones had laws and rules.
Also, this seems smth exclusive to Muhammad as the food of idolaters was not accepted. From my understaning the Medinan chapters are exclusive to Muhammad and his followers.

The labels (mecca, medinah) , and surah names, punctuation, sajda marks etc are not actually part of the Quran, as far as I understand. And neither are the vowel marks, they are just the 'reading' of it.
Never mind what's where and what is labeled just seek to understand it and ask for God's help in understanding it, the Quran is full of laws, suggestions, advice and guidance, but God revealed it gradually, not all at once which is why it can seem like it is disorganized.
I read the verse as 'and do not eat that which you have not remembered the name of God upon it, indeed that is corruption'...
God clearly explains what is lawful and what is not, and it is addressed to the believers/ those with Faith
'Why should you not eat upon that which the name of God has been remembered when he has detailed that which is forbidden to you'...
