Reading this thread from the islam subreddit is the most frustrating thing ever

I was browsing on the sub when i found this

how can anyone be so dense?!! how can anyone be so willing to follow blindly, to follow nothing but whats others say and refuse to use their own judgment and brain! say things like "oh the scholars agreed so we must agree as well"

I think just reading through the comments would make any free minder go mad! brickwall

yes blame everything on context! the SAHIH hadith where muhammadSAW says to drink camel piss? oh thats just context! the hadith where he tortures and klls women and children, yep context justifies that too! no lets not stop and think for a second that hey maybe bukhari&co and all the scholars are LIARS elektro

anyway im staying faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away from that sub now. faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away from scholars. faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away from sectarians. faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar away from their hate/misogyny/violence/cruelty/ignorance/barbarism/rigidness.

i didnt bother commenting anything as i dont have a reddit account and i knew they wouldnt listen. but i saw some progressiveislam and quraniyoon subreddit were helpful so i'll stay there only if i ever go.
