    Salam to all Quran-alone Muslims/Submitters,

I am interested in the views of Quran-alone Muslims - what do you make of Converting others to submit to God (Islam)?

Personally for me it does not interest me at all. I mean this for strangers who seem averse or dis-interested as well as for my family who refuse read the Quran and actually try and understand.

I think that with the Crusading Zionist Media constantly attacking Islam (as a Whole), everyone has had a chance to be exposed to the Last Testament (Quran).
I don't feel it is my job to convert then - nor do I have any wish to convert those who appear averse.
It even reminds me of the story of the two sons of Adam - one could not believe and the other even let himself be killed by the other - so that the killing brother would burn in hell as a disbelieve. Its just an example though and nothing more.

I feel the pages of the Quran are laid bare with the world of the internet so those who stick to their ways are more than welcome.

    What are you thoughts?
    Salam
    Ed

      Peace Ed.
Qoran only says "Call to your Lord"or "Yasiluna ma Amara Allahu bihi an yusala" (Pass on the message of Islam as an attitude of mind towards GOD) . GOD converts or otherwise.

Our call to GOD should be simply a reminder that GOD put an instinct in all humans to seek HIM Alone. And that GOD has sent a message to all( every individual).

GOD does the rest( guides or otherwise).
Of course it is better when we find people that have the same desire to study/follow Qoran .
      GOD bless you.
      Peace.

        Salam good logic,

        That is a good view.
In relation to "Call to your Lord" - this call seems to be echoing everywhere right now.
Its seems the call is going out everyday to nearly everyone without me having to open my mouth.
I know there will always be someone who thinks that HALAL is an exotic Middle Eastern dish - (I kid you not!), but overall its almost like everyone has heard of Islam - even those who hate Islam.
Finding Quran-alone Muslims in itself is a breath of fresh air indeed - although I must say that this crowd has got just as many strange people as did the Hadithist version of Islam.

        Peace
        Ed

Not everyone has the skills of finding the right words, that people would understand best. I certainly do not have it. If there would have been someone trying to convince me to read the Quran and come to Islam, he would most likely have achieved exactly the opposite with me. The best everyone can do is trying to be an example of righteousness AND be a normal human, not like someone who wants to have nothing to do with that "kaffir-society".

Each to their own however I personally don't want any thing to do with those who don't believe or those who have other beliefs if I feel they have been exposed to Islam already - and I certainly won't act dramatic and go around calling them kaffir-society to provoke the usual media-nurtured racist and hateful responses.
My job is not to convice others to believe or behave in a way they feel less racist towards other humans because of their own personal ideas about a group of pepole.
A person who thinks Islam is something to be followed because of the behaviour of others will find themselves like a pin ball being knocked around from ideology to ideology. A bit like the stuff that makes up Hadthist, ISIS, Talmudic, Evangelical or other tribal "let's be a bigger, better club"mentality.
No. Each person needs to investigate themselves and only God will convince or allow them to enter Islam or submission.

            Salam

I am with you on this. Not sure why the idea of calling makes me feel embarrassed, but then again I feel that we should at least try to reach the people because so many are dying for a false ideology. We have evidence of that. We should keep that at least in display. It is for others to decide whether they believe it or not.

I think we agree. My point refers to theses kinds of examples my own brother and sisters hate Islam because of how Muslims behave yet won't listen to me. Same with my in-laws and really.... Same with most of the society we live in. ie they've had the call yet choose their own path.

That would mean turning it into a show, behave unnaturally, even on the edge of hypocrisy. That should be no ones job. Basically I agree, there is so much information, easy to find. But I think there is a human factor, small however, not absolutely 100 % just about having got the correct message.

                    Walikum salaam EdQ.

Think I'm with the consensus here, I have no 'calling' to do Dawah, rather than trying to convince people to believe in what I believe, I try to convince people to believe I do no wrong for believing what I believe. I am content to be accepted by others who appreciate I have different opinions to them.

You mention elsewhere about the wide variety of God Aloners/Quranists/Submitters etc. Its true, the very fact there is so many words for it shows how we are just as divided, if not more so. What differs though is our acceptance generally of others, because we follow the word of God that commands us to be friendly with our neighbours. We are also possibly just people of good nature, Quran or not. We will remain so divided because there has been a concerted effort over many centuries of "purifying" Islam through further conservative regression, and "free thinkers" like us who envision a new way (or, how I see it, a very old way) of thinking gets in the way of that regression.

                      Salam Mikebloke,

Not sure you are the same user who is in the UK, but if you are, then its a pleasure to engage with another UK Quran-only Muslim.
I think you sum up many of my thoughts in your post.

All I will say is that I hope the purification within Islam takes place soon because I really feel that the so called "Muslim" word has been cursed by God because of their setting up other scriptures like the Hadith alongside the Quran.

I understand there is a lot of diversity within "our" community of Monotheist Muslims (or whatever people want to call it) but I see it as good - I mean aside from some of the insidious posters who clearly stand out as having nothing better to do than spend their time sadly trying to mislead others - I have learnt from everyone - even including people like Sam Gerrens who I find really hard work on all fronts.
Each has an interesting perspective - and sometimes I may disagree with their perspectives but it sets me thinking and I may get to their conclusions - or I may use their conclusions to get elsewhere. But one thing is for sure, I am so so glad I am not a Hadithist anymore - it used to make me cringe thinking that these so called Hadiths had anything to do with faith.

                      Salam
                      Ed

Talking about looking at others for righteousness, I actually used to ignore the call when I heard it - It was God who inspired me to read the Quran - completely on my own - and it was due to me trying to work out why Muslims kill people (media brainwashing) - there was nothing in the Quran about this at all though.
So rather than coming to Islam because I thought I saw someone behave righteously, I actually came because I saw they behave badly - like terrorists (and I should thank the Islamophobic media a lot for brainwashing me into generalizing a group of people).
The bad stuff was all to do with Western colonialism/invasions and a reaction to it (& a lack of any real leadership by so-called Muslims) and due to some ridiculously crazy Hadithist interpretations.
