Quran order Killing for spreading lies?
-
Verse 3360-61
3360 If the hypocrites and those with disease in their hearts and those who spread lies in the city do not refrain, then We will let you overpower them, then they will not be able to remain as your neighbors except for a short while.3361 They are cursed wherever they are encountered, and they are taken and killed in numbers.
Does this verses order the killing of people spreading lies ? Is this not extreme to warrant death?
Can anyone explain please
-
?Where or how do you see there such an order?
It says things that may happen in does nto order anything at all, nor say it is your duty or anything like it.
When people do mischief it is very easy that they find mischief done on them, not necessarily from those they have harmed, but may be from others that may be as reckless as themselves. That is very much the case amongst criiminals, they are more likely to be killed by other criminals than by the enforcement people.

The above is an order to kill those who are mentioned in 3360 which include liars
Whenever they are encountered they are taken n killed.
That's how I see the order
-
God says what He is going to do. He is not ordering anybody anything, He is saying ehat will befall the persecuters of believers if they o not desist from such persecution. But he is not ordering anything. He is going to dispose whatever he wants and He is predicting what will happen to the trouble mongers. No order anywhere. No iperative, no statement of any olbigation for anybody to do anything. He is announcing merely.
Do you think he should send kisses and caresses to those who molest women and sow strife and trouble amongst the people. Or should God give them a prize?
If they seeks trouble what is so awful but that they should find trouble. For that they do not need and God does ot need to order the believers anything. The troublemakers amke enough enemies along their way so that there may be always plenty of volontiers to give them what they are so hard looking for.
