    Peace Anoushirvan.

Let us clarify the difference between"Birr" and "Taqwa". They are not the same thing.
"Birr"is righteousness, "Taqwa" is much more with the added "GOD awareness/conscious". If you are righteous you may not have GOD awareness as well, but if you have "Taqwa" you should have righteousness as well.

Anyway, If you are "Muttaqui" you are aware that GOD makes you accountable and that GOD is very much aware of everything you do.
Hence your sawm should be sincere, and this is where you are not right in my opinion. Someone with "Taqwa" will dedicate all his/her works/rites to GOD Alone and will try their best to follow GOD s message.

If they do anything it is not for show or to stuff themselves after sawm or to pretend/be hypocrites. They are only concerned about GOD and want to do the things that reflect the advice of the Creator in deed and action.

If you have fasted and you know what it is about, then according to your comments ,you have not been real "Muttaqui"in my opinion, otherwise you would have felt/seen/realise the real benefit to you . body and soul.

Same with everything that we do in life,if we believe GOD ,we sincerely submit to him and be honest with everything in our life as regards GOD being aware of all that we do.
But ,there is a choice for all of us. Believe GOD,fool GOD or disbelieve altogether.
I also believe you are talking about those who think they can fool GOD.
    GOD bless you.
    Peace.

      Peace GL,
when there is a definition in Qur'an, I primarily rely on this definition before any other. Here verse 2.177 clearly defines what is al-birr and who are the muttaqis.
The definitions are crystal clear so there is no need IMO to search for another one.

When you imply that al-birr is righteousness without God awareness (because it is taqwa), I cannot agree with you because your definition is not aligned with verse 2.177 which characterizes al-birr by believing in God, in the Day after, in His books, in the angels, just to cite a few.

If believing in God is not the same as being aware or conscious of Him, I don't know what you are believing in. And indeed, this is confirmed by verse 2.189 I quoted above that al-birr is the character of someone who "ittaqwa", i.e., who is muttaqi.

It is not possible according to Qur'an to have al-birr without being muttaqi, and it is not possible to be muttaqi without having al-birr.
Nevertheless, the nuance between both terms is that muttaqi emphasizes on keeping the pledge.

If people acknowledged that sura al-baqara mostly addresses to the children of Israel, the meaning of muttaqi as keeping the pledge would be obvious to them. God promises to maintain the Alliance with the children of Israel, provided they fulfill their own share of the contract, which is exactly being muttaqi.

If you have fasted and you know what it is about, then according to your comments ,you have not been real "Muttaqui"in my opinion, otherwise you would have felt/seen/realise the real benefit to you . body and soul.

No. You are putting the cart before the horse.

Verse 2.183 prescribes sawm in hope people would become muttaqi.
By translating with your own words, if I need to be God-conscious in order to correctly fast and fill for myself a real benefit, then verse 2.183 doesn't make sense at all.

Brother if "Birr" and "Taqwa " were the same GOD would have used one word for both.

Also there are various degrees of" Muttaqui," Sawm gets you to a higher degree, but at the start if there is the "GOD awareness" one is able to do it justice.
Apart from that I agree there are stages where both birrr and taqwa become complementary.

Having said that ,you know full well that if one believes in GOD but does not believe GOD some taqwa is missingFor example,

        12106
The majority of those who believe in God do not do so without committing idol worship.

Similarly the majority of those who believe in GOD do sawm...etc as you described in your post. Just because you believe in GOD does not mean you have taqwa.

        GOD bless you.
        Peace.

I don't know what you are talking about. Definition of muttaqi is given by Qur'an itself

          2.177 .

2.177. Laysa albirra an tuwalloo wujoohakum qibala almashriqi waalmaghribi walakinna albirra man amana biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri waalmala-ikati waalkitabi waalnnabiyyeena waata almala AAala hubbihi thawee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeena waibna alssabeeli waalssa-ileena wafee alrriqabi waaqama alssalata waata alzzakata waalmoofoona biAAahdihim itha AAahadoo waalssabireena fee alba/sa-i waalddarra-i waheena alba/si ola-ika allatheena sadaqoo waola-ika humu almuttaqoona

2.177 Piety is not to turn your faces towards the east and the west, but pious is one who believes in God and the Last Day, and the angels, and the Book, and the prophets, and he gives money out of love to the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer, and those who ask, and to free the slaves; and he carries out the Communion, and contributes towards purification; and those who keep their pledges when they make a pledge, and those who are patient in the face of adversity and hardship and when in despair. These are the ones who have been truthful, and these are the muttaqi.

That's pretty clear. Those who are really muttaqi are those who keep their pledges when they make a pledge, and those who are patient in the face of adversity and hardship and when in despair.
Those manifest al-birr (rightfulness, translated here by piety) is one who believes in God and the Last Day, and the angels, and the Book, and the prophets, and he gives money out of love to the relatives, and the orphans, and the needy, and the wayfarer, and those who ask, and to free the slaves; and he carries out the Communion, and contributes towards purification.

          1. Why did you separate the verse into two sections? Where is this separation in the Arabic?

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

            1. Why did you separate the verse into two sections? Where is this separation in the Arabic?

From a discussion with a native Arabic speaking guy who convinced me there are actually two sections in this verse.

            2.177

2.177. Laysa albirra an tuwalloo wujoohakum qibala almashriqi waalmaghribi walakinna albirra man amana biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri waalmala-ikati waalkitabi waalnnabiyyeena waata almala AAala hubbihi thawee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeena waibna alssabeeli waalssa-ileena wafee alrriqabi waaqama alssalata waata alzzakata waalmoofoona biAAahdihim itha AAahadoo waalssabireena fee alba/sa-i waalddarra-i waheena alba/si ola-ika allatheena sadaqoo waola-ika humu almuttaqoona

By relying on Semitic rhetoric, the second section could perhaps even be split further
waalmoofoona biAAahdihim itha AAahadoo -> Al muttaqoona
            waalssabireena fee alba/sa-i waalddarra-i waheena alba/si ola-ika -> allatheena sadaqoo

Funny statement coming from you who are sticking to the medicine of ancient Greeks, symbolizing an archaic thought that doesn't make progress.

I never said I agree with or practice medicine of the ancient Greeks. This is your own strawman.

Can we therefore conclude your view is built upon an absolutist statement about all humans who ever fasted, the fuzzy unverifiable world of "semitic rhetoric" and comes from someone who commits logical fallacies?

Would you agree a disbeliever is one who has read Qur'an and decided to reject? Or have I missed some other characteristics?

Here is what GOD is saying to those who claim monopoly for salvation, like Beni Israeel and others like them
                        281

                        282

Do you think "Alladina Aamanu wa amilu al ssalihati" are just followers of Mohammed or yours or my religion?

This is a general statement referring to all humans.
Followers of "AlHaqq" (the truth) are "Alladina Aamanu" and followers of "Al Baatil" are the opposite. GOD has not cited any religion here

                        GOD bless you.
                        Peace..

                        Peace GL,

Dont pick and choose verses only to further your misguided interpretation, that is not very honest.
I am beginning to question your understanding of Quran in general now.

                        Are you deaf brother?

                        319
Indeed, the religion near Allah (is) Islam. And not differed those who were given the Book except after came to them knowledge out of envy among them. And whoever disbelieves in (the) Verses (of) Allah, then indeed, Allah (is) swift (in taking) account.

                        384-85
Say, "We believed in Allah and what (is) revealed on us and what was revealed on Ibrahim, and Ismail, and Ishaq, and Yaqub, and the descendents and what was given (to) Musa, and Isa, and the Prophets from their Lord. Not we make distinction between any of them and we to Him (are) submissive.
And whoever seeks other than Islam (as) religion then never will be accepted from and he in the Hereafter, (will be) from the losers.

                        619
He (is) the One Who sent His Messenger with guidance and (the) religion (of) the truth, to make it prevail over the religion all of them, although dislike (it) the polytheists.

                        471-3
Those who disbelieve and turn away from (the) way of Allah, He will cause to be lost their deeds.
And those who believe and do righteous deeds, and believe in what is revealed to Muhammad, and it (is) the truth from their Lord, He will remove from them their misdeeds, and improve their condition.
That (is) because those who disbelieve follow falsehood and that those who believe follow (the) truth from their Lord. Thus Allah presents to the people their similitudes.

                        7157-158
Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find him written with them in the Taurat and the Injeel. He commands them to the right and forbids them from the wrong, and he makes lawful for them the pure things and makes unlawful for them the impure things and he relieves from them their burden and the fetters which were upon them. So those who believe in him and honor him, and help him and follow the light which has been sent down with him. Those (are) the successful ones."
Say, "O mankind! Indeed I am (the) Messenger (of) Allah to you all, the One for Whom (is the) dominion (of) the heavens and the earth. (There is) no god except Him, He gives life and causes death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered Prophet the one who believes in Allah and His Words, and follow so that you may (be) guided."

                        181-5
All Praise (is) for Allah the One Who (has) revealed to His slave the Book, and not (has) made in it any crookedness.
Straight, to warn (of) a punishment severe, from near Him, and give glad tidings (to) the believers, those who do righteous deeds, that for them (is) a good reward.
(They will) abide in it forever.
And to warn those who say, "Allah has taken a son."
Not they have about it any knowledge and not their forefathers. Mighty (is) the word (that) comes out of their mouths. Not they say except a lie.

                        573-74
Certainly disbelieved those who say, "Indeed Allah (is the) third (of) three." And (there is) no god except (the) One God. And if not they desist from what they are saying surely will afflict those who disbelieved among them, a punishment painful.
So will not they turn to Allah and seek His forgiveness? And Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

                        2285
Believed the Messenger in what was revealed to him from his Lord and the believers. All believed in Allah, and His Angels, and His Books, and His Messengers. "Not we make distinction between any of His And they said, "We heard and we obeyed. (Grant) us Your forgiveness our Lord, and to You (is) the return."

                        4136
O you who believe! Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the Book which He revealed upon His Messenger and the Book which He revealed before. And whoever disbelieves in Allah and His Angels, and His Books, and His Messengers and the Day the Last, then surely he (has) lost (the) way, straying far away.

Yes I believe that every single being who has been accepted into and will be accepted into God's Mercy were and will be Muslim in the true definition of the word. They each followed their given Messenger and made no distinction among any of them.

Jews in general deny Isa and Muhammad as Messengers.

Christians in general are simply pagans, idol worshippers, claim God is three in one against Quranic teachings, common sense and logic or claim that God Has taken a son again against Quranic teachings, common sense and logic.

If people of today which the Messenger was sent over deny his Messengership and Book he was sent with from God then they are simply rejecters and there is nothing your wishful thinking can do to save them against the punishment which is prescribed for them in the Quran.

Do not quickly respond, take time read these verses, read the entire Surahs and ponder much over what I am conveying to you. Your consistent attempt to defend people indiscriminately is a very unappealing flaw, especially for sincere believers. A true sincere servant professes truth and encourages those who lack understanding to seek knowledge and acquaint themselves with the Quran and to accept the Messenger and the Book lest they become losers. Instead you defend them and pretend they are believers. It is shameful. Or maybe you yourself lack the understanding, which coincides with your misguidedness in seeking guidance from numbers within a Book filled with letters.

                        Peace

Who knows? May be your messenger has come to you after Mohammed but you are not aware or you are denying?

So you think your "Islam" ,the way you understand it, is the right religion? (We need to believe in all the book, all the words and all the contexts that GOD intends so we have no contradictions in Qoran)

If you know Qoran,,Look for this verse in it(Or abrogate it if you wish)

"Inna Lladina Aamanu ,wa lladina Hadu,Wa Nassara... Any religion, man Aamana bi Allah Wa alyawmi Al Akhiri wa amila salihan fala khaufun alaihim wala hum yahzanoon.

Or may be GOD does not mean it?

I am sorry to say, from the way you convey your ideas in your posts, that you are no different from those who wish to force people to be in their religion because you think your truth is the only truth and you have monopoly over GOD s religion!

May the Lord guide you and me and all the believers to His path.
                          GOD bless you.

                            Peace GL

You ask my interpretation concerning verses you present but totally ignore the verses that I present to you. If your aim is truly to grow and study Quran go back and assess all the evidence(verses) I have brought forth.

                            Peace
Who knows? May be your messenger has come to you after Mohammed but you are not aware or you are denying?

And what if I am some type of warner to you? We can go on and on.
I don't deal in hypotheticals. If you have proof bring it other than that focus on the argument at hand, without attempting to redirect.

So you think your "Islam" ,the way you understand it, is the right religion? (We need to believe in all the book, all the words and all the contexts that GOD intends so we have no contradictions in Qoran)

It is not my Islam. I read the Quran without any desires or external biases. My parents for example one a Christian and the other I cannot say. One day cliams we were created from aliens, the next day he sings praises to Jesus (peace be upon all the Messengers), then he claims he is a muslim and he's going to tawba when he returns home or that he's going to red the Quran, then he claims that our people have their own ancestral gods and the white man came and ruined our culture, so he waivers.
However much I love them and want the best for them, I make no excuses for them and I advise them towards the good every chance I get persistently as Ibrahim did with his father, that is what believers do.
Can you imagine if the world should follow your desires? Should have Ibrahim rather told his father to continue with his deeds because Allah is the judge? Nonsense. Stop it. Please.
I do not read the Quran wishing to change its meaning to a more favorable standing in which I can have my mind at ease about what will be their judgement if they were to pass as they are now(meaning die as rejecters). I simply don't read the Quran with my own interpretation. I make it my business to make duah to be guided to correct understanding and interpretation and to have patience over that which I cannot grasp. And trust me Allah answers the prayer of the supplicant!
But I suspect you as most cannot do that. And instead subliminally attempt to find excuses for those you love or for reasons which only you know and by so doing corrupt your own soul and taint your own heart. Because you in truth, reject what Allah has revealed and seek to change its meaning and arrive at an interpretation that is suitable for you, not at what Allah has intended independently of your desires and preconceptions.

Next let us remain specific, you are getting too general with your question. I think my perspective on this specific topic is indubitably correct and undeniably so. Especially when I have provided a post full of proofs and citations while your response and arguments are hypotheticals and your standalone words. So yes the interpretation I present which is shared by many others of good logic is in fact in this situation the most logical and reasonable interpretation.

                            262
Indeed, those who believed and those who became Jews and the Christians and the Sabians - who believed in Allah and the Day Last and did righteous deeds, so for them (is) their with their Lord and no fear on them and not they will grieve.

How can you even dare to use such rhetoric?(That's a red flag) God means it! Your understanding is just distorted.
Think about the Quran and when it was revealed for a second and then use your logic this is clearly speaking about those of them who believed because there were also disbelievers among them. And this verse is using the past tense meaning those who came before the Prophet and his Message ( peace be upon all the messengers). And if it is about contemporary Nasara and hadu then those acknowledged the prophet and the book which addresses the nasara and hadu much.
You are understanding is also not complete.

Way of Allah never changes so if He says that those who believe believe in Him, His Angels, His Messengers, His Books and The Last Day who are you to claim different??

                            930
And said the Jews, "Uzair (is) son (of) Allah." And said the Christians, "Messiah (is) son (of) Allah." That (is) their saying with their mouths, they imitate the saying (of) those who disbelieved before. (May) Allah destroy them. How deluded are they!

                            3110
You are (the) best (of) people raised for the mankind - enjoining the right and forbidding the wrong and believing in Allah. And if believed (the) People (of) the Book surely would have been good for them. Among them (are) believers, but most of them (are) defiantly disobedient.

How do you interpret Surah 98?
Do not argue by futility, really be honest with yourself about the reason your Messenger was sent. Were not the other deens full of corruption? Priests and rabbis stealing the money of the people claiming obscenities about Allah or themselves claiming to be children of Allah and changing the scripture by their own hands and concealing the truth?
Why then would they be encouraged to keep following those corrupt deens, when Islam is meant to be the deen of truth and Your Lord intended to make it previal over all deens?
Once a prophet arrives the people must support him, that is the covenant or have you forgotten ??

                            381
And when Allah took covenant (of) the Prophets, "Certainly, whatever I (have) given you of (the) Book and wisdom then comes to you a Messenger confirming that which (is) with you, you must believe in him and you must help him." He said, "Do you affirm and take on that (condition) My They said, "We affirm." He said, "Then bear witness, and I (am) with you among the witnesses."

Are those you seek to defend exempt from the covenant?
Has your fixation with numbers obscured your judgement and ability to comprehend letters, words and sentences??

                            Surah 98
Not were those who disbelieved from (the) People of the Book and the polytheists, to be abandoned until (there) comes to them the clear evidence,
A Messenger from Allah, reciting pages purified,
                            Wherein (are) writings correct.
And not became divided those who were given the Book, until from after what came (to) them (of) the clear evidence.
And not they were commanded except to worship Allah (being) sincere to Him (in) the religion, upright, and to establish the prayer, and to give the zakah And that (is the) religion the correct.
Indeed, those who disbelieve from (the) People (of) the Book and the polytheists (will be) in (the) Fire (of) Hell abiding eternally therein. Those - they (are the) worst (of) the creatures.
Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds, those - they (are the) best (of) the creatures.
Their reward (is) with their Lord - Gardens (of) Eternity, flow from underneath them the rivers, will abide therein forever. (will be) pleased Allah with them and they (will be) pleased with Him. That (is) for whoever feared his Lord.

I am sorry to say, from the way you convey your ideas in your posts, that you are no different from those who wish to force people to be in their religion because you think your truth is the only truth and you have monopoly over GOD s religion!

In which way do I convey my ideas? By providing citations which you completely ignore? No, I don't claim any monopoly over anything I am providing straight forward facts and evidence GL, you are just slandering me. The truth in this matter is that you are simply lacking in understanding. That is the only issue here. Don't accuse me lest befall you some for what you say.
You want to force me to believe you're right for the sake of my fellow humans, what an hypocrite. I am not forcing you to anything I am simply conveying to you the message. Take heed it is better for you, but if not you take heed not it affects me in the least, but you on the other hand, no excuse for you after the matter is clear to you and you obstinately deny simply because it is coming from my lips.

Definitely, I am always studying, average of two surahs per day, once the Reading is completed I begin again and I will continue inshallah until He causes me to die.
Will you study? Or will you take my words and warning in anger? Did you even read the ayaatin I posted?
Take your own advice and study the Quran unbiasedly brother and try to truly understand the perspective presented and ALL the verses indicated. Read them thoroughly, ponder and pray over this, if you truly desire to be guided to His path demonstrate it with your studiousness and sincerity in this matter.

May the Lord guide those who truly seek His Guidance and turn to Him humbly closer to His Straight Path.

You are misunderstanding me,like you claim I am ignoring the verses you quote for me while I am saying to you ,you are not looking at the whole context of what GOD is really saying,we have to believe every word GOD speaks.

So let me first define for you "Islam " as I understand it
It is the state of mind of anyone who recognizes God?s absolute authority, and reaches a conviction that God alone possesses all power; no other entity possesses any power or control independent of Him.

Anyone can be any person, any race and any religion.

Once that"GOD conscious" person develops the relationship with His creator ,it is up to GOD to inspire/work with that person according to GOD s knowledge of the person s convictions.

GOD said people of the torah can judge by what GOD has revealed in it,people of the Injeel can do the same. etc...

I am clearly saying to you,and please read my words carefully now so that there will be no misunderstanding

As far as we are concerned, anyone, yes anyone who is peaceful and has no issues with us ,we cannot say that person is not a believer.GOD is their judge only. "Innama alaika albalagh wa alaina alhisab"-you deliver the warning,GOD holds them to account-.

Your argument about people is premature and "agressive". GOD s mercy and forgiveness is open to all the peaceful and good people until the moment they die. Their judgement is with GOD.

Only those who oppress you/fight you/force you to leave GOD s Islam are the ones that GOD has clearly said to us you can defend yourself against. Like for like.

Of course GOD has said the majority are doomed ,but as far as we are concerned we should follow the best path indicated to us by our Lord and remain peaceful, good, forgiving, working on ourselves and being the best we can to those who wish us no harm, whoever they are.

                              244
Do you exhort the people to be righteous, while forgetting yourselves, though you read the scripture? Do you not understand?

Call to GOD,that is the best warning we can give,GOD takes care of His people. GOD has left the judgement of His deen to a predetermined day,not to be enforced by anyone in this life.
You work on yourself,I work on myself...etc.
                              Hope you understand me now.
If not,you are still my brother and we agree to disagree amicably.
May the Lord guide us both.
                              GOD bless you.
                              Peace.

I consider it almost impossible. Even if it were possible, it would be impossible to objectively verify.

There is potentially a deeper problem with such a claim and that is the claimant can delude oneself into thinking their logic/reason/objectivity is perfect thus blinding them to the truth if a contrary view is encountered.

Desires/bias are part of human nature, e.g. see http//misconceptions-about-islam.com/muhammad-human.html

I see where you're coming from.
Personally though, I think I am far from perfection, however I have Faith in The God to guide me to the correct interpretation and understanding of the matter.
And I do not mean 100% of the time, but with the most central and basic themes however I think it is very possible and kind of necessary.
I can also freely admit when I am unsure or think that I may be wrong.

I genuinely do not have issues with contrary views, I have issues with illogical views and my approach is not to obstinately deny without causation but to inquire, this gives me a deeper understanding of the other view.

You are misunderstanding me,like you claim I am ignoring the verses you quote for me while I am saying to you ,you are not looking at the whole context of what GOD is really saying,we have to believe every word GOD speaks.

                                        Peace GL,

Ok. No more misunderstanding each other. Read what I have to say and think about the many verses I have cited.

So let me first define for you "Islam " as I understand it
It is the state of mind of anyone who recognizes God?s absolute authority, and reaches a conviction that God alone possesses all power; no other entity possesses any power or control independent of Him.

I guess that might be acceptable, but Allah's definition is better. Why not use His? Why rely on your fallibility?

GOD said people of the torah can judge by what GOD has revealed in it,people of the Injeel can do the same. etc...

I know the verse. However, which Torah are you referring to? Is it the one which speaks of goyim?, the one which claims God rested on the seventh day?, the one which claims Lot slept with his daughters when he was drunk? the one which claims Jacob wrestled with God?
                                        Please use your reason.

And exactly which Injeel should they judge with? The Injeel which tells them the only way to God is through the son?, the same Injeel that claims that God gave His only begotten son for the world?, or the one which claims Jesus had a father named Joseph?, or the one which includes letters from false prophets that encourage them to eat all foods including pork(Paulinian doctrine)?
                                        Please use your reason.

These books have been corrupted without Quran there is no light. Period.

No you cannot say to anyone who is a believer or not perhaps. It does not mean that the prophet cannot or others with more understanding cannot. No where in that verse or context does it mean or say we cannot say to a person that they are not a believer. Those are your words only.

Listen to my words carefully. Being able to discern that someone is a disbeliever does not mean condemning them or judging them at all or even that you necessarily have to walk up to them and call them a disbeliever in their face. However to prove you wrong about this veery fact.

Look what the prophet is commanded to say to the Bedouins

                                        4914
Say the Bedouins, "We believe." Say, "Not you believe; but say, "We have submitted," and has not yet entered the faith in your hearts. But if you obey Allah and His Messenger, not He will deprive you of your deeds anything. Indeed, Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

How can believers follow this command without being able to identify and recognize disbelievers?

                                        328

There are no in betweens GL. Period.
                                        642
He (is) the One Who created you and among you (is) a disbeliever and among you (is) a believer. And Allah of what you do (is) All-Seer.

Your argument about people is premature and "agressive". GOD s mercy and forgiveness is open to all the peaceful and good people until the moment they die. Their judgement is with GOD.

My argument is not aggressive my tone is assertive.
Your words and personal opinions do not dictate how God's Mercy is distributed and to whom out of mere wishful thinking.
It is the opposite of what you say. (41Your hypotheticals are not realistic. If God sees good in people He guides them to the Straight Path and to the truth and the Light (Quran) if not He lets them go astray.
Also do not forget that God can make the deeds of any person worthless if they associate anything with Him.

                                        418
And not (is) the acceptance of repentance for those who do the evil deeds until when approaches one of them death, he says, "Indeed I repent now;" and not those who die while they (are) disbelievers. Those - We have prepared for them a punishment painful.

Look at the root habitat ha ba ta too many examples to cite...

                                        18105
Those (are) the ones who disbelieve in the Verses (of) their Lord, and the meeting (with) Him. So (are) vain their deeds, so not We will assign for them (on) the Day (of) the Resurrection any weight.

                                        3965
And verily, it has been revealed to you and to those who (were) before you, if you associate (with Allah) surely, will become worthless your deeds and you will surely be among the losers.

                                        2217, 7147 etc..........

Only those who oppress you/fight you/force you to leave GOD s Islam are the ones that GOD has clearly said to us you can defend yourself against. Like for like.

You are a bit confused I think, no where did I mention fighting or defending one self. Your argument here is just a plain straw-man fallacy.

Of course GOD has said the majority are doomed ,but as far as we are concerned we should follow the best path indicated to us by our Lord and remain peaceful, good, forgiving, working on ourselves and being the best we can to those who wish us no harm, whoever they are.

Of course, you are mentioning common sense things no one with good logic would dare argue against. That was never my point. My point is that there is a clear cut distinction between believers and disbelievers in this life and it is as day and night.

                                        Peace.

Let Allah be the final judge between us
                                        320
Then if they argue with you, then say, "I have submit myself to Allah and (those) who follow me." And say to those who were given the Book, and the unlettered people, "Have you submitted yourselves?" Then if they submit then surely they are guided. But if they turn back then only on you (is) to convey. And Allah (is) All-Seer of slaves.

                                          Peace.

I see you are trying to understand Qoran, but you are picking and choosing and mixing up your believers.disbelievers,hypocrites,etc...

For example do you think all believers are easily identified? Or vice versa? You are not looking at the context of the verses, neither are you comparing what GOD is saying in the whole Qoran.

For example when GOD says "Ya ayuha lladina Aamanu,Aaminu bi Allah wa rasulihi...etc Why does God call them Oh those who believe then asks them to believe in Him...etc.

Then GOD says " Ya ayuha lladina Aamanu lima takuloona ma la tafaloon...etc

Then GOD says "The majority of those who believe commit "Shirk"...etc ( Why should we generalise about Jews and Christians when believers( according to your definition )do it?)

...I could go on,however you are saying you study Qoran...etc

Keep up your study ,concentrate on yourself(cleansing yourself),I do the same ...etc

Then hopefully ,you will stop differentiating between people unjustly,so will I etc....

We should be applying the best conduct/Iman GOD instructs us and not be premature in judging people without knowledge.
GOD differentiates in Qoran because GOD has the complete knowledge.

Let us say"GOD grant us more knowledge" and LOVE GOD and LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR".

I will leave the judgement/differentiation to GOD Alone. You have your choice also.

I will close our conversation in friendship towards you and all those who wish me and other humans no harm and no unjust classification.
                                          Thank you brother.
                                          GOD bless you.
                                          Peace.
