my introduction

thank you, people of Free-Minds, for organising this forum.
I am happy to introduce myself.
I am a woman of sixtytwo years old. I am living in The Netherlands and happy to have two great daughters.
I am still working for my living and thanks to god in a good health.
I am looking for new wisdom about religion.
I was grown as a christian and believe god is creator of all. all human are his creation, as is all the world and all the universe.
He loves us and it is up to us, to discover how we can live and share his goodness together.
Our human nature, I don't know, it is a complexe question.
We want to live in peace, but also we want to have power for our own, or money, or watever.
My question is...how can we learn in peace to respect the religion of our brothers and sisters,
muslim, jew, hindu, christian... God is one, so we should be as one too.
All the good books, Q'ran, Bible, Baghavat gitta, speak of brotherhood/sisterhood.
I wish you all peace and a life in the light of the truth of our god. -

and give you peace.The variety of religions are all ways to attempt to enjoy a better relationship with the Creator--the variety amounts to a larger net catching more fish. Religion isn't so much dogma, but rather how we live our lives and how we interact with each other.
2267 For every nation We have established rites which they are to fulfill. So do not let the matter fall into dispute. And call upon your Lord, for you are on a guidance which is straight.
Look at Abraham, peace upon all prophets. He was around before Moses and the Mosaic Code. He was around before Jesus and Christianity. He was around before the Qur'an was revealed. As the terms are commonly used, he was neither Jewish, nor Christian, nor Muslim. On the other hand, it could also be argued that he was a practitioner of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, without any of the extraneous things that later became associated with these "religions." One can be a Believer, a monotheist, a doer of good works, and belong to virtually any system of belief by any name in this world.
If a Christian is one who follows the teachings/example of Jesus, are there any Believers that (knowingly or not) do not do this?
384 Say "We believe in God and what was sent down to us and what was sent down to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Patriarchs, and what was given to Moses and Jesus and the prophets from their Lord. We do not make a distinction between any of them, and to Him we submit."
