As you can see the subject title which is the article's name who was written by Dr. Siraj Islam (you might know him)

Keep this in mind, this was made in OCTOBER 2, 2014 so there is a possibility he may have changed his understanding.

What I can say about that is that to me it sounds artificial. It sound completely artificial to me, when I even attempt to say it. And when I say artificial it entails unsincere. My father, is most beloved but I do not give him any title. I feel that titles are a barrier between the person and sincerity.
As to Muhammad, he is named in the Qur'an, kahatam an-nabiyin, I understand by that that he may be a denomination whereby all prophets are included. Honouring Muhammad is by itself honouring all prophets, even those unkown who would be the great majority. All peoples on earth have had their prophets, so that ells us that most prophets are ignored by most of humanity, the khatam an nabiyin, makes sure that we honour all of them, as we should. We, Humnaity are one, the prophets of each people are also our prophets. Humanity has come to this point thanks to their example and messages. We should not forget them, that is what khatam an-nabiyin is for, amongst other things, but honouring them should be from our hearts and gratefulness to God for having sent them. It should not be done for etiquette, but for our own feeling of truthfullness and gratefulness and acknowledgement of the common inheritance of all humanity.

Absolutely not.
18110 Say "I am but a mortal man like all of you. It has been instructed unto me that your god is one god. Whoever looks forward to meeting his Lord, let him do righteous deeds, and let him not set up any partner in the service of his Lord!"
3144 Muhammed is but a messenger, like many messengers that have passed before him. If he dies or gets killed, will you turn back on your heels? (Whoever turns back on his heels, he will not harm God in the least. God will reward the thankful).
